Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. My mom heard from someone (sshe doesn't remember who) that ElAl Air does not allow discmen on their planrs. Is this true? I'm gonna be flying to Israel soon, and I don;t want to get my discman taken away.

I know this isn't any help whatsoever, but the only thing to be positvie(unless somebody here has flown EIAI airlines, or whatever it's called, is to call them and ask, unless you know of somebody who's flown that airline.

It doesn't seem like we have touched on this subject much. I know how contravercial it is...so please dont pass judgement on me. I want advice not a lecture. 2 years ago on Aug 8th I has an abortion. I was 7 weeks Pregnate. I strugle every day with the descion i made. This time of year is the worst though. I had no support from anyone who knew including the scumbag who I had sex with. I mad a rash descion. And to this day I know it was the wrong one. It was increadably selfish. I had more options but I took the easy way out. I should have taken responsibilty for my actions and I didn't. With all that said, my quetion is...what are my chances of being able to conceive a child again. Are they less...or does it make it more difficult becuase of the abortion. Please let me know any info or websites you may know of that can help me. Thanks for your help ! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

u weren't takin the easy way out, u were thinkin about your life, and your future, yes there were other options, but dependin on ur age, it wouldn't matter

and abortion is the hardest (and in my opinion) worst desicion to make, it's killing an innocent persons life, BUT, u had ur reasons, and whats done is done

I asked a question about weight loss. i didnt ask if i was fat, i asked if nayone knew about pills or patches i could use since im 13 and really insecure. they deleted it and i dont understand why.

This is not really a question, but a request...

Can we please stop it with the "I rate" and "Rate me!" crap? Are getting ratings THAT important to you? Does it somehow make your life complete? This site isn't a game, people... ratings are not for keeping score. There is no competition - just advice. The ratings are supposed to be for keeping the bad advice off the site, much like we have the moderators in place to help keep the really bad questions off the site.

I mean, when I see a question that says "I rate!" in the body or even subjet of it, it just screams "OMG! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!!!!" It is getting kind of pathetic, as we're seeing it ALL THE TIME!

Let's give it a rest.

Hi, im Theresa, yes i am also a columnist but i need help, see i need braces ( but not TERRIBLY) only a few of my teeth are a little off center but my mom thinks that i really want braces! We kinda have a shortage of money going on too. Braces are like $4,000 and we cant really afford it but my mom really wants to take the risk. What should i tell her to let her know that i really dont NEED braces yet?

there are many adults, even one off the lady's that work in my orthodonist place has braces, because she couldn't afford them as a child

tell her that braces aren't much fun and that u'd rather wait (i can't stand em, u get cold sores n kanker sores they suck)

o, and if u have insurance then they shouldn't really cost that much, especially if they're only top, or only bottom (u didn't say if it was like that im just makin a statement)

your best bet is to talk to her, tell her u don't need em yet, and u can hold off a year or two, or maybe more!!

For some reason when ever I ask a question, the question never appears under the give advice secttion. This one may not either. Does anyone know why? And could anyone help me with a question I have?

it's because of the screening process

once they stopped screening, if it's a good enuff question, then they post it

at one point they stopped screening to give us level1 moderators a chance to do sumthin, but they got so much junk that they decided to start again, i think

but it's all because of screening, that could take anywhere from a minute to a few days, it all depends on the level 2 moderators and advice_admin
