I know this isn't about sex but i didn't no what to put it under lol.
So I think Obama should have never became president
I think hi is an idiot.
So i want to know people who did vote for him why you did what were your reasons?
Cause if you think hes ganna pay for your bills and provide for you hes not.
I just wanna know everyones reason for why they voted for him or why you didn't vote for him.
Also a lot of people including me, Think he manly won cause he is black and i think if that is true witch i think it is i think thats wrong.
My resons are because I think racism is wrong and if people vote for him only because he's black just means your being racist. Now you might note be but your basing your decision on the color of his skin i and i think thats horriable.
I bet if he was a white man he would not of one or he wouldn't of one for the reasons he did.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS OVENSIVLY IM JUST SPREEDING MY OPINION ON WHAT I BELIEVIE AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT PEOPLE BELIEVE OR THINK.
Moving on, if I were old enough to vote, I would've voted for McCain. Obama writes a good speech, I'll give him that, but I just liked McCain better.
So what that he's old? Don't judge a book by its cover.
So many kids in my school said they'd voted for Obama in our mock-election because he was 'cool, like a celebirty.' (That aspect of him probably brought in a good share of naive voters.)
I asked them what they knew about his policies and they looked at me like I was from freaking outer space and said, "Uhh....I dunno.."
As for race, I think a fair number of people voted for him because they were afraid of being racist. I'm not even kidding when I say that in my school, the blacks hardly ever get counted tardy if they walk in 5 minutes after the tardy bell, but a white kid does that and they're written up every time. It's sad.
Voter fraud had a lot to do with it too.
Did anyone see that story about a "voter" being Mickey Mouse? Or were you all too busy eating the mainstream media's crap?
Obama probably still would've won had it not been for those factors, since some people truly DO like him, but it would've been a much MUCH closer election if the above hadn't happened.
I certainly don't want him to die or get killed, hell no I don't want that, but I'm not too happy with how he keeps pushing and pushing and PUSHING what HE wants through, not listening to America's conservatives.
PunkieFreak4690 answered Monday September 21 2009, 3:03 am: I have nothing against Obama nor McCain, but Obama was voted only because the media liked him.. and I don't wanna write a novel on how or why.
I am more republican, and seeing Obama becoming president was a bad move for America. His, "yes we can" is false advertisement, because he just made our economy worse, and I don't think McCain can really make it better either. I voted for McCain, because I feel he would know more about the government than Obama.
I am not racist; I love people of all races and ethnicities; but really either of them can do a great job, they just need to make the right choices.
My opinion put simply. Too much controversy on this topic. I know some schools will have voting ballets so you can vote [but it won't count], yet it's tallied and is put into statistics like a real vote. Next time, vote. But right now, stop bitching about it. [ PunkieFreak4690's advice column | Ask PunkieFreak4690 A Question ]

Now, to answer your question.
I voted for Obama AND I will again if he re-runs in 2012.
I am a white female, so dont think for a second that rce had anything to do with my decision. You say people who voted for Obama JUST because he is black is racist....WELL, if people voted for McCain JUST BECAUSE they didnt want a black president is being racist as well! is it not?
Did you actually watch any of the presidential debates? Did you research any of their campaign bulletins or rallies? If you DIDNT, how can YOU form an opinion at all????
People under the age of 18 should NOT be able to vote. I personally dont think that people underage fully understand politics yet (in most places you dont even take government in school until you are a senior)
I proudly voted for obama because I stayed up to date with the campaigns of both candidates the whole time they were running. The things that Obama said versus the things that McCain said made my decision far too easy.
McCain is a Repub. JUST LIKE BUSH who has the same views and supports the big business to get bigger, (rich get richer) the man is OLD, with a history of bad health and the idiot woman he chose as his little side-kick would drill our country into the ground. the woman is an air head.
Does this mean I agree with EVERYTHING Obama favors? Not at all. But between McCain and Obama, Obama's ideals are going to get us farther in the long run.
He said FROM THE BEGINNING, that things were going to get worse BEFORE they get better. He said that his Bailout would not show any economical improvement until about 2 YEARS into the plan. (think of how many billions of people hes trying to take care of)
trust me the recession effected my household! I got laid off and couldnt find a job for 6 months!! 6 MONTHS. But thank GOD for Obama's Bailouts because since he put the stimulus plan into effect, that offered an additional 8 months of emergency benefits that people could get IF they couldnt find a job. At trust me I was trying. I applied to atlead 200 jobs within the 6 months. Even things I was OVER Qualified for. Jobs simply couldnt afford to hire more workers.
2 YEARS!! So WHY is it that 4 or 5 months into his position, people are already BITCHING that the economy isnt fixed????
HELLOOOOO! He said 2 years people?! are you listening?! Today CNN showed that Wall Street and the Stocks are improving at an amazing rate. People bitch about his Bailouts but HEYO! You have to spend money to MAKE money. Simple as that.
as far as him being black, im OFFENDED that people refuse to own up to the fact that the man is what we need for this country and since I live in Texas, I see my fair share of racist bumber stickers and get lots of chain emails talking about "seceding from the union"...and assasination threats. Give me a f***ing break. Get over it people. Stop using the F-ing RACE CARD already. grow up you immature ignorant a-holes.
Do some research before you try to "SPREED" your opinion.
And just so you know, Ive been a republican for many years, but once Bush ruined our country, McCain didnt look too far behind. Obama was eloquent, well educated, a family man, and honestly wants a better future for our country.

I voted for Obama, it was my first time voting [I'm 20 now]. If for some reason I could go back in time I would still vote for him. I don't care if he's black, what does that have to do with leading a country. I am hoping that his healthcare plan goes through because, selfishly, it would really help me out. I also hope that he helps out students in college. And third point, I think it'd be great if he could fix up our international relations. He's not perfect but who is. sillyrob answered Sunday September 20 2009, 7:26 am: Hopefully Obama will fix the nation's education and it will benefit you. I'm not sure words like "ovensivly" are actually words.
Now, you keep bringing up the point that "you think (which I think is a joke, there is obviously no activity in that brain of yours) hi(sic) is an idiot." Under what grounds is "hi(sic) an idiot"? Did you hear your parents say that? Did you hear the news say that? Did you hear the idiot hot guy/girl at school say that? Obviously you didn't come up with this thought on your own, and if "your" going to bash the internet about Obama, you should back your shit up.
Obama is not an idiot. He is actually a very well spoken man. Doing everything he promised? Nope. Ruining our nation's relations with another country? Yup. Managing to socialize health care without causing Civil War 2? Nope. Ending the war? Haha. Inviting people over to the White House for beer then choosing a flavorless domestic light beer like Bud Light? Seriously Obama, you could do a whole lot better. He did call Kanye West a jackass. That has gotta be worth at LEAST 5 points.
Oh, and yes, I did vote for him. I do not take it back for a second. Was he the best candidate to run this country? No. He was a lesser of two evils, and yes I know the lesser of two evils is still evil. I think I'd rather have Hitler run the country than Satan himself. He won (according to you he won "manly"), and since you are obviously a 14 year old retard who snuck on daddy's computer when he wasn't looking and decided to play with the big boys, prepare to hear things you don't wanna hear. Prepare to be told that your opinion doesn't matter (which it doesn't, turn 18 please). Prepare for another three plus years of Obama while you sit on the internet and bitch.
Will you even be 18 by the next election? I hope not. The last thing we need is you "spreeding" your vote into this country and infecting it with stupidity. Come back once you've studied some shit. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]

xeViLxShArPiEx answered Saturday September 19 2009, 10:40 pm: If you think Obama is in idiot, then I'm sorry. But how old are you? Were you old enough to even vote in the election? If not, then you should just stop complaining/whining. Some people say that you don't have the right to complain on who's president if you didn't even vote. (In case you're wondering, no, I'm not old enough to vote yet.)
I don't get why people hate Obama so much, and keep complaining about him. I mean, I do understand, but I think people should just get over it. He won, because OBVIOUSLY, the majority of people voted for him. 'Majority rules'... right?
I don't think he won because he's black though. People voting for him because he is black would just be ridiculous. American has come a long way from the past, but we STILL have a long way to go when it comes to racism. This isn't about racism, but about gender. Hilary Clinton ran for president, but people didn't vote for her to represent the Republican Party because she's a WOMAN. I don't think it would be any different, whether if Obama was white, or maybe if McCain was black. Who cares about race, just focus on what each candidate believes in.
Do you have any other reasons why you dislike Obama? People who dislike Obama should have good and valid reasons why they do. The same goes for if you approve/disapprove of Obama or McCain. I think it's stupid when people approve or disapprove of someone like a president when they don't have any logical reasoning behind their opinions. Sure, you may dislike and disapprove of Obama, but how can you expect him to be PERFECT. Nobody is this so-called 'perfect'. Do you really expect one person to be able to please EVERYONE? To satisfy and make everyone happy, and everyone lives happily ever after? It's just not going to happen. Whether it be one single person, like Obama, McCain, or any other president. People are going to agree and disagree on different things. Therefore, not everyone is going to be happy with Obama's decisions, let alone any other future president's decisions. Obama has barely been in office yet. Well, if you look at how long he's been in office to the total of 4 years being in office, then he's barely gotten started yet.
I don't think Obama is doing this on purpose. I'm sure he has reasoning behind his actions. Do you honestly think Obama is trying to 'screw up' on purpose? I find it amazing that people think he wants to doom America. It's not like he WANTS to fail.
You're probably going to rate me low on my answer, but considering the fact that you disapprove Obama, you should still rate answers fairly. Rating Obama-supporters low, and McCain-supporters high wouldn't be fair at all. You'd almost be contradicting yourself when you say it's not fair for people to vote for someone based on their race, but it's ok for to rate based on whether they agree with someone's opinion or not? I mean, you DID say you wanted people's opinions right? Well I am sharing my opinion, and so are others.
People should just accept the fact that Obama is now our president. Obama as our president is REALITY now.
If you think all the black people voted for Obama, then you are wrong. I have a good friend that is black, but she strongly supported McCain. I also had other friend's who were of different race strongly support Obama. I really don't think race had anything to do with the results in 2008's election. People 18 years old and over should be smart and mature enough not to base their vote off of race.
If I was able to vote, I would vote for Obama. Why? Because I agree with what he believes in, and his view points. I don't agree with EVERYTHING Obama belives in, but I feel like I agree more with him than McCain. [ xeViLxShArPiEx's advice column | Ask xeViLxShArPiEx A Question ]
jm93 answered Saturday September 19 2009, 4:36 pm: I agree with you 100%. I dislike Obama very much. He's not for the people at all. I think McCain should've won the election, however, I obviously can't vote.
From what I heard (from many people) they voted for him because of the whole "taking from the rich giving to the poor" thing. Which, of course, didn't really happen..like a lot of what Obama said. Also, I heard from a lot of people, they voted for him because "McCain is so old, he'll die and we're stuck with Palin". Yes, Palin wasn't the smartest..but, I really doubt McCain would've ran if he was going to die anytime soon. Another one: "Because he's black!" Woo hoo? Who cares what color he is! It shouldn't matter whether he's white, brown, black, orange! This is why we have such a problem with racism everywhere in America. We're ALL people no matter what race. And he's not really black..he's White AND Black, which some seem to forget those details. I also don't trust everything about him..but, that's a different story. I still have no clue why people elected a president they know NOTHING about.
I do agree with Bush messing up America. He did. However, what makes you think Obama is going to CHANGE anything? Because he said he will? How many of you have been told something throughout your life and it has never happend? I know I have! And I'm sure all of you have. He's a LAWYER! He knows how to sweet talk people into things. That's what lawyers are good at. And look at what he did to Chicago! He took them broke. Much like our country. Since he's became president, we've been put in a lot more debt than before. I love how people overlook these facts.
I'm also 100% against his healthcare plan. I understand so many people don't have it. My mother doesn't even have it. Why? because it's TOO expensive. Yes, England and Canada have the healthcare plan. However, look at the FACTS. England will only treat people up to a certain age. Is that fair? NO. That means my grandparents wouldn't even be able to be treated if they ever got sick. Also: There has been talk about making people pay a certain amount of money if they don't get healthcare. I also disagree with this. Again, people don't get healthcare because it's TOO expensive. Obama can't seem to get this through his head.
rainbowcherrie answered Saturday September 19 2009, 11:18 am: I didn't get to vote because I'm not an American citizen or over 18. Having said that, in the UK, the majority of people were rooting for Obama, including myself.
It baffles me as to why anyone would be complaining about free healthcare for all but perhaps that is because I live in the UK, where I've never HAD to pay for it.
I don't think he won just because he is black, although I doubt many people of ethnic minority voted for McCain. Having said that, the sad truth is that many of those people are relatively poor and therefore inevitably lean towards the Democrats. He was undeniably the most enigmatic and engaging of the two candidates, he is incredibly intelligent, he is portrayed as a kind family man and he is much younger than McCain. This teamed with the fact that people were sick of George Bush and wanted something new and different is why he won. Not because he is black. loveydovey224 answered Saturday September 19 2009, 10:22 am: I totally agree with you. Theres no way he would have even been in the running for president if he was white. Which is very unfortunate. I'm not sure i would call him an idiot, but i'd definitely say that he's book smart, not street smart and he is way under qualified to run our country and has made very bad decisions and will probably continue to do so.
The only explanation that i have for him being president other than that he's black is the alternative.
McCain is VERY old, already slightly senile, he could easily get worse or even die in four years (what he would have been president for). And i think the possibility of sarah being president scared a lot of people. I dont know whether or not she was dumb, but she was a horrible speaker which kind of made her come off that way.
There is also the independent party, but the media was so mad at the independent party for letting bush win that they got almost no coverage and no one knew about them so it was pretty much impossible for their candidate (i dont even remember who it was lol) to win. Don't shit on the rights of others.
Respect their rights, just the same as you demand for yourself.
Now. As for Obama.
I did not vote for him.
I am Libertarian, and I don't agree with half the shit he went on about. Any opinion I had on McCain doing any good went out the window when he used a nit-wit female to run with him. I have no doubt that he chose her to try to snag the female vote.
So, between these two men, Obama is the guy I'd rather see in office. This country finds itself in one hell of a big mess. Do I seriously believe Bush's buddy McCain wouldn't continue to lead us in that direction?
So yes, change is what this country needs.
Just because I don't agree with his ideas of change doesn't mean I don't appreciate the man's desire to try to make this a better place.
Who knows, this place may start really looking up. Then again, it may be far worse off by the end of this term. Maybe we'll see that depression? Bring it on. My family unit has been planning and prepared for that since the first big bail out.
By the way, skin color is irrelevant to me for anything other than Obama making history in this country. Just think: There was a time not so long ago I wouldn't have been able to sit at the same lunch counter with Obama, and today he sits in the Oval Office.
For that, I'm proud.
For all else, skin color and genitalia play no part in my vote. EVER.
NinjaNeer answered Saturday September 19 2009, 9:20 am: I'm not American, so I couldn't vote, but if I had it would have been for Obama.
I'm a white female, so my demographic doesn't come into play.
Something I've never understood is the standard Republican. Lower-middle to upper-middle class, getting by okay but not filthy rich... yet they vote for people who give money to the rich. Tax breaks for the top 1% of society, raising taxes for the middle class. They aren't out for your best interests. They're out for the best interests of the rich (because that's generally where they lie on the scale).
Fiscally, what Obama stands for is helping the rest. Rather than pumping all your tax dollars into shiny new jets and tax breaks for big companies, he's trying to put a little into health care. And there's an uproar about this?
What you need to do is think of his proposed healthcare system as an insurance policy that nobody can turn you down from. You guys spend more per person per year on health care than we do, and we have fully covered health care! If you were to stop having this insurance BS, and start putting that money into public health care, everyone would benefit (except maybe for the very rich).
Instead of paying an insurance company, you pay the government. When you need to go to the hospital, it's paid for. Period. End of story. No fighting with the insurance company over whether it's a valid claim or not. Does living below the poverty line make you less deserving of the right to live? No! There are plenty of hard-working people who just can't afford health insurance, or who can't get it because of pre-existing conditions. They would be provided for, as would you in case of emergency.
No more families going bankrupt because dad gets cancer. Nobody dying from easily treated diseases because of inability to pay for health care. You guys are all about your fellow man... why not help him out?
As for his other policies... he's managed to pull you guys out of a war that was started for no reason other than pushiness and put you in where you belong... in Afghanistan. That war was dragging on and on and getting nowhere, and no other countries agreed with it. Meanwhile, everyone else has been stuck fighting the Taliban because of their attack on you. He's trying to end this thing so that your great-great-grandchildren aren't still paying for it.
He's also a social liberal. Isn't that one of your things... "with liberty and justice for all"? I don't see a whole lot of liberty. Two men or women who are deeply in love and want to make a lifetime commitment to one another can't do so. They can't adopt a child and give it a nurturing, loving home. You have politicians trying to take away womens' right to abortions. You have abstinence-only sex ed programs. A lot of people don't like these things.
He believes that your country needs change. And you know what? So do a lot of your fellow countrymen. Your country has been going consistently down the tubes for the last 8 years, and people have hope that with Obama, there will be change. Race isn't the issue here. Sure, it's exciting to have your first black president. It would be equally exciting (if not moreso) if you had your first female president!
Oh,and another point... that Sarah Palin was a doofus. She was an airhead. Even Republicans didn't like her. McCain is a pretty old guy with a bad health record. If he keeled over, guess who would have taken his place? *shudder* There would have been a mass exodus to Canada if that were the case. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
karenR answered Saturday September 19 2009, 8:45 am: I voted for Obama. I would do it again. I have heard a lot of presidential speeches. I can't remember any other candidate who stuck with
their beliefs and opinions all the way through a campaign. He never wavered. That meant a lot to me. He is the first democrat that I have ever voted for. I usually vote libertarian but also voted for bush the first time around.
I don't agree with everything he has done but I think it will work out in the end. He had to do the bailouts. What difference does it make how the government pays. If he hadn't done the bailout, so many people would have been out of work that finding a job would have been hard to do. The government would be doling out money via the welfare system so people could eat. Instead, GM and other companies are still paying all those people. At least they are working for that government check!
Unemployment is high now and probably will be for a while. There are jobs out there. Corporate types
however think its beneath them to work at McDonald's. They'll get hungry when the unemployment checks stop coming in and get off their asses and go to work somewhere. The unemployment statistics are a farce.
The health care system needs major work. I don't agree at all with universal health care, but the insurance companies and the antiquated medicaid system need major changes. MAJOR changes. They have way to much power.
Let me give you an example of the insurance companies power. One doctor I worked for got
in trouble for this....
Say you are a young family.
You have a small child. The husband makes his
living as a woodworker. They get by but can't afford the high premiums insurance companies
want to cover a family. The husband makes just
enough money that medicaid won't help them out
either. The child has asthma. Now and then he
needs a breathing treatment just to keep him
alive.
With no insurance they take the child to the doctors office for a breathing treatment. The
office call is 65 dollars. The breathing
treatment had to be done twice and costs
over a 100 dollars on top of that 65 dollar
office call. A lot of money when you have none.
If they had insurance through an employer, the
negotiated cost of an office call would have been 35 dollars. The breathing treatments would have been about half the cost as well. God forbid they
should have to pay full price.
The doctor decides to cut this family a break.
She needs new office cabinets. She tells the
woodworker she will wave the cost of the visit
if he will make her some cabinets. He can get
wood at a discount and if the doctor can wave
her labor fee so can he! Everyone is happy....
Except the insurance company. Why, if the doctor
is going to negotiate with non insured patients,
what good are they? Thats just not fair to people with insurance! Somehow it is insurance fraud!
If the doctor ever dares do this again, they will
be off the list of preferred doctors. People
with blue cross, medicaid, medicare etc. will
no longer be covered if they come to her office.
In other words, you barter for services rendered and you will soon be put out of business.
Insurance companies have way to much power. They do need competition. They do need stopped. Doctors should be free to run their offices as they see fit. I hope Obama will at least get
something done about that. Another insurance
company to deal with probably isn't the answer.
I do get tired of all the Obama bashing that goes on. Especially by people without a clue. I think he is doing the best he can with the situation he was handed. I think he has the best people out there advising him on what to do. I also feel that
he is smart enough to use his own head in deciding
what the right thing is.
I really don't understand people at all. Do they
honestly believe he wants to fail? I think it is just the opposite. He has every reason in the world to want to succeed. I think he will. I hope
he will. Its almost like people are actually hoping he will fail. Maybe people are so beaten down by past administrations that they think failure is to be expected. All I know is I have never been so disappointed in the American people and their attitudes.
I did not vote for Obama because he was black.
I get offended at even the thought. Did some people vote for him because of it? Probably.
A good many more voted for him simply because he was a democrat. More and more people become sheep
with no minds of their own every day. One
reason is as bad as the other as far as I'm concerned.
I will admit, and I hope it wasn't racist on my part, that I stood in that voting booth and hesitated before casting my vote for him. I've
never before hesitated thinking that perhaps my
voting for the candidate of my choice might bring
harm to the man. Its sad that I even had the thought cross my mind. Thats the only part his
being half black came into play for me.
MCain wasn't a bad man. I simply did not want,
could not AFFORD any more of the same old crap
from the republican party. Had he had a mind of
his own it may have been different. He just repeated the same old Bush crap. Add to that his
choice of that ditzy Sarah Palin as a running mate
and he lost all chance for my vote. For one thing
I think she was chosen as a last ditch effort for the female vote. Wrong choice man! Talk about someone without a clue. The thought of her possibly becoming the president was more scary than anything else he could have done.

I voted for McCain, for simple reasons:
first off, I like knowing that there's a tough son of a bitch running things, and to survive a stay at the hanoi hilton, you have to be one hell of a badass. Second, I saw obama's speech at the 2004 convention and considered him immediately as a possible 2012 presidential candidate. it was too soon for him to take office in 08, you don't put young pups in a dogfight with rottweilers.
Third, what just happened in afghanistan? I doubt any of you are tracking this, he replaced my old commander, an experienced combat leader, with somebody Chairman mullen is quoted describing as "more in touch with the sensitivities of washington"
you do not replace generals based on their political reliability in the United States military. Thats wrong, and we're pissed. I knew he was going to pull shit like that. now our Rules Of Engagement have changed so drastically, some guys died because that fruitcake you people voted for would not allow them adequate fire support because we might hurt some of the "poor little Afghans" Newsflash: Fuck the Afghans, I will go to prison for the rest of my life if I have to in order to ensure the survival of my fellow soldiers. pussies make rules like that, and real men will pay the price, both ways, without hesitation.
After this deployment, I will not return home. home doesn't even exist anymore, because as I type this, the institutions that I have spent years defending are being torn apart. You americans will wake up one day, and tell your grandchildren how great freedom was, until YOU let it slip down the gradual slope of history, and gladly walked into bondage, all for the sake of "Change"
DearAbby92 answered Saturday September 19 2009, 12:51 am: A big reason he was voted for was because of President Bush. He left us in a bit of a mess and people thought McCain was too similar to Bush as a republican. A party switch in the seat seemed hopeful.
I don't like the color opinion either. If black people just voted for him because he is black, that dissapoints me. I don't even like that he is considered the first "black" president. He's partially white, too. Color is too much of a stereotype in the world. People are labeled as certain things because of their race but it isn't fair.
However, african american is still technically a minority in the US, so even if all black people voted for Obama just for that reason and all white people voted for McCain, McCain would win. And besides, what is black and white? If your more dark are you a black voter and if your very light your a white voter? It's annoying in my opinion. In the future there will be very few people who are one race. Most people will be so mixed you won't have any idea what they are. Then what will people pride themselves on, and use as grounds to stereotype others?
And another thing, not every American votes in the election. So who knows how many people of each race voted.
It's easy to point out the flaws of people, but running a country isn't easy. I wouldn't know how to fix an economy among other things. At least give him some credit.

However, I didn't vote because like Matt, I turned 18 after the election. But, I like Obama. Nobody expects a president to pay their bills or provide for them. That's a bunch of shit. People who have that idea are clearly out of touch with reality. I don't expect him to provide for me. I can do that myself. I can also pay my bills by myself.
I don't think he's stupid. I disagree with some stuff that he's doing, but he knows what he's doing. Besides, everyone always thinks that they're better than the current president but you don't see any of them in the white house. Voting for him because he's black doesn't make anyone racist. Did people vote for Bush because he was from Texas? It doesn't make sense.
He won fair and square. He's better than McCain and that's that. You're pulling out the race card and that's ridiculous. You have your reasons not to like him, that's fine - everyone has a different opinion on him. But make sure you have actual, valid reasons instead of his race. That's the only reason you've provided as to why you dislike him. This whole question is invalid. [ christina's advice column | Ask christina A Question ]
Matt answered Friday September 18 2009, 11:01 pm: I don't think Obama is an idiot, but I do disagree with the fundamental idea of universal health care and the closing of Guantanamo Bay. I couldn't vote because I turned 18 after the election, but if I did, I wouldn't have voted for McCain or Obama. Your comment on whether or not Obama would have won the presidency if he was white is an interesting point that is unfortunately, probably true. [ Matt's advice column | Ask Matt A Question ]
TheRandomJuggalette answered Friday September 18 2009, 10:05 pm: well personally obama isn't an idiot. would you rather mccain be in office?? and old man that falls asleep at meetings? someone who can never even remember their speeches? that old man can't do anything. he could barely talk haha. but u have your own opinion. but alot of people hate him because he's black they are making plans to kill him already. alot of people voted for mccain just because hes white and they didnt want a "negro" in office!! People voted for obama because they believed he could help us change. they believed that he could bring change and good to this country. NOBODY not even you knows what he's capable of. you do not know if he can actually change us. we just have to wait and see :] [ TheRandomJuggalette's advice column | Ask TheRandomJuggalette A Question ]
