the new titanic in 3d i was wondering if any one saw it and can tell me how it was withput reviews like actuall saw it..is there much difference? alot in 3d? (link)
The 3D is pretty subtle, yet also well done. It looks like it was actually made for 3D, for the most part.

I wouldn't say it enhances the experience a whole lot except for on the most epic of the scenes, (the ship leaving Southampton, the "I'm king of the worllld!!!" scene, the boiler rooms, the ship sinking, etc.) In other scenes it wasn't as noticeable, though it was still there.

Since it's my FAVORITE movie ever, to me it was worth paying money just so I could see it on the big screen. The 3D didn't make me like it any better or worse.

i am 12 and i am terriffied of shots! i feel like i am going to die!!! will you help me get so i am not so terriffied of getting my tdap/tetnus, whooping cough shot? my appointment is soon!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (link)
Well, what's so scary about them?

They really don't hurt much, even donating blood doesn't hurt much and that thing is more like a, a, I don't even know what, rather than a needle. Anyway.

All I can suggest is just breathe. You will not die 'cause of a shot. You're more likely to die if you don't get your shot and contract one of those illnesses. It ain't the end of the world. You're making it into more than it is. It's just a little needle pricking you, surely you've experienced pain worse than that, right? :) And it goes by so, so quickly usually! Sometimes they may not get the needle in the right spot, but even then it won't take long. It's such a tiny, tiny speck of time in your life. You'll be okay, really you will.

Did your life turn out different from what you imagined as a kid? (link)
Well, I'm still a kid kind of, but so far it's pretty different.

I thought I'd have short blonde hair in a ponytail and a letter jacket and be super thin with big boobs and on the cheer squad and popular. I thought surely to God I'd have had my first kiss already. None of that's happened. I thought I'd be working and independent and everything would be cool and easy.

It's not.

As a child I was painfully, painfully, PAINFULLY shy and had an enormous fear of men. I'd get snotty and mean when threatened, but I was always sad and scared. I'm still like that, but it's been toned down a lot since I've gotten friends and matured a bit. I'm happier now.

So yea. Life is turning out WAY differently than I thought it was going to. It isn't necessarily bad though. There's rarely a boring day. :)

i love singing and i love songwriting. but i'm not sure that my voice is where i want it to be. there are no vocal coaches where i live but i am taking classes during school. all i want to improve on is volume, control, vibrato and how to stay in tune. so any vocal exircises that could help?
also i want to be able to sing in front of people.
thanks (link)
I have a huge passion for singing so I'm sorry this is way long. I'll tell you some things my teacher had us do in class, and what's worked for me. :)

Put your hands kinda on your waist but more towards the front. Stand tall with your feet about shoulder width apart, don't slouch. Be comfortable and loose as possible, relax yourself. Don't tilt your head up or down to far. Now, take a breath so that with your hands where I told you to put them, you can feel your stomach go out. If you feel your stomach go out, you're breathing properly from your diaphragm. :)

Obviously with proper posture you don't want to have your hands there, but just so you can learn how it feels to breathe from your gut if you haven't already.

If that's not working, lay down and place your hand on your stomach. Usually when laying down you breathe from there naturally, so you should be able to feel it move, and memorize how those breaths feel. I've gotten to the point myself that I never breathe so that my shoulders move anymore, so I'm sorry if that all isn't very clear.

Practice breathing exercises, something our teacher had us do was take the "superbreath" that I described above. He then told us to act like we're throwing a paper plane, and blow out until we're out of breath, trying to use our air to get it to the other side of the room. I kid you not, practicing proper breathing will help you so, so much. Even if you think you have it down, you can still improve. The more quickly and quietly you can get in a large amount of air, the better you will be. You will have more air to use to increase your volume, and loud, messy breaths than break the flow of the song will be eliminated. :)

Open your mouth wide, as in drop your jaw. You want an open, vertical shape usually, to get the best sound. You gotta have your mouth open or the sound has nowhere to go.

Control is something that comes with just singing, from what I've found. You just have to keep singing and keep singing so you strengthen your voice. It's like a little kid that can't control their feet well when walking 'cause they're not used to it. After years of just walking they get better at it, right?

I'm sorry I can't help you much with vibrato as it's always just came naturally for me. :/ I do know the better your control of your voice overall, the better your vibrato will be, though. At times my voice gets out of hand, and my vibrato is too strong at parts because I can't keep a hold of it. It's getting better with time though.

Staying in tune... Hmm... I would really, really suggest using a piano, even a digital online one, and singing and playing scales at the same time. Make sure you're matching your pitch to the notes you play.

As you get more comfortable, play the first few notes as you go, then stop playing along with yourself as you do the scale until you get to the last note. When you get to the last note, play it as you sing it and see how well you matched it. Are you sharp, are you flat? Just practice practice practice until you aren't sharp or flat. Hear the next note in your head, never guess where it is.

Not everyone has time to learn what the notes on a piano are if they don't know them already though, so if you're like that, sing along to your favorite songs. Sing karaoke. You've gotta be careful with your tempo doing this, but something I do is I'll start singing along with a song I know well. Then, I'll mute it/turn the volume down to 0 and sing for a bit, and when I turn it back up I can check if I've stayed in tune. This works best with those lyrics videos all over YouTube, for me. Record yourself singing something a capella, and see how it sounds. Does your voice drop lower or sneak up? Chances are if you pay close enough attention while actually singing you'll catch it then, too, if you know that you do it. You just gotta train your ear, is what our teacher said.

Singing in front of people is another thing that comes with that dreaded word, practice. I know it sounds like an easy out to say that, but start singing for someone you're close to. I started singing for my mother, first. Then I eventually sang for my friends once or twice. Then my friends and I sang for one another ALL THE TIME. Then I sang in front of lots of people, I just didn't care anymore because I'd gotten used to it with my friends.

The more you do it the more comfortable you'll be until eventually even singing in front of a room full of people won't be QUITE so bad. You have to love your own voice and treat it well so you're always in top form. Just remember that you love to sing, and keep in mind what you've learned during your hard work. Don't let nerves get the best of you so that you forget to breathe support your voice.

I was chronically, painfully shy. I couldn't even talk in front of people. But I got to where I could audition in front of people for a role in a play that they wanted too, with very little nerves. And I was the last to go! How'd I do it? I just remembered this--

You sound like you. You're not expected to sound like someone else. Yes, that girl in the pink sweater may have a sweet, light soprano or a rich, dark contralto, but that's not the only pretty voice out there. Just because your tone is different from someone else doesn't mean you're bad. So don't ever think that. I often get jealous of girls with high, tingly, husky voices. But in the end, my voice is just smooth, low, and gentle. But people still like it. And that's that. I can't change it much, so I have to accept it. :)

I'm really sorry that this is so long, I just poured out all my knowledge and didn't realize I'd gone on so long... Bottom line: Just keep singing.

I am turning sixteen on Friday. I'm very excited, but I am also afraid. I feel so unprepared. I feel like everyone will expect more from me and I won't be what they want. I feel like I'm missing out on life. I feel like I won't live up to what I want.

I feel like I haven't developed the mind set and experience to become sixteen. I feel like I'm stupid sometimes because I don't have the attitude to be sixteen. My mom complains how I lack in attitude and skill. She complains that I am so scared of everything and unwilling to take risks. Sometimes I feel like she's right.

Is the mixed feeling of sixteen normal at this age or am I just over thinking? (link)
As someone who kinda felt the same way you did not long ago, I'll TRY and put what I found as my own answer into words, but I warn you, it isn't very cohesive and is very long! Haha.

I just turned 16 yesterday and no one suddenly expected more of me. I was kind of nervous about how fast I'm growing older, I think it's normal to feel that way, but you might be thinking a bit too much into it.

Age is just a number. Just keep your cool, no matter what you do you can't hold off your birthday until you're ready for it. Time waits for no one. I read something once in which the guy made some good points--You usually don't "become" an adult and realize it's happening, you just suddenly ARE one, with adult responsibilities... but you're still the same person you always were on the inside.

It's not like you suddenly gain a bunch of wisdom on a certain birthday, even if people expect you to.

15, 16, 35, whether or not you wanna take risks really doesn't have anything to do with your age. I would take more risks when I was 10 than I do now at 16, because at 10 I didn't know the consequences of my actions. You're fine. If you're unhappy with your fears, try and conquer them. You should be fine as long as it's not a fear like "I'm scared to ask where the '__insert word__' is because I'll be embarrassed"--if you have those kinds of fears nip them in the bud right now. From experience I can tell you that the only way to do that is to just force yourself to do what scares you. You'll soon realize it isn't a big deal.

If you're scared to go base jumping or something though, I'm completely with ya on that one! :)

To wrap this up all I can really say is the bigger your world becomes the more risks there are, the more chances to fall there are... but there's also a bigger chance to grow, and to love. From 1 to 100 we're all pretty much the same inside--we're all still figuring this life out... some of us are just a little further along than others.. but our age has little to do with just how far we are.

Experience and age really don't relate to each other as much as you might think. Look at something simple like first kisses--some 12 year olds have made out, but at 16 I haven't even had my first kiss, or held hands. They have more experience in dating, even though I'm older and would be expected to have more experience. I know that's a cheesy example, but do you get what I'm saying?

I'm looking for good songs for people in a relationship, but not quite in love yet.
I've never been in love, and believe it could be possible with this one.

(link)
A really good one about encouraging someone to see where things could go is "We'll Never Know" by Lifehouse. "True" by Ryan Cabrera. "First Time" by Lifehouse. "Crush" by David Archuleta.

Do you know any songs about waiting for someone? The only ones I know is Lucky by Jason Mraz and If It Means A Lot To You by A Day To Remember.
Thanks! (link)
A lot of these just have loose themes of waiting, but I did my best. I've listened to so much music over my life I can't remember half of it, after all. Hope it helps.

"Wait for You", Elliot Yamin

A classic: "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx

Kind of about waiting: 'And we're not broken, so please come home...'
"Not Broken" by the Goo Goo Dolls

"Someday" by Rob Thomas

"A New Day" by Scouting for Girls

Kinda about waiting, "Syndicate" by The Fray

"Holding Onto Nothing" by Lovers & Liars

My personal favorite, "One Day" by Trading Yesterday.

Kind of about waiting, like waiting for them to finally come around and like you back
"The Chase" by My Favorite Highway

there's a person who kepps bothering me and liking me but i doont like her what do i do to get her off my back without talking privately and personally something i can scream out loud so evryone can hear. (link)
Hon, you do realize being cruel to a girl you DON'T like will turn off a girl you DO like if she sees you being so awful, right? At least it will if she's even worth being with. If a girl thinks it's okay or funny for you to humiliate someone like that, who says she'll have respect for you? Who says she won't think it's okay and funny to humiliate you? To walk all over you? See what I'm saying?

No need to be a jerk about it. Just tell the girl, "Hey, I'm sorry, but I don't like you as anything more than a friend." She might still bother you, but if you tell her that you don't and cannot like her in a romantic way, her feelings will die off eventually.

I have a cooking blog and I want to make a good valentines day treat to post about. What to make- chocolate bread pudding, or chocolate and pastry cream filled brioche?
thanks! (link)
Mmmm, bread pudding! Of course, brioche sounds good too.. Oooh, I'm so indecisive! Bread pudding sounds a liiittle better to my personal taste, though.

I guess it could depend on the cooking skill you think most of your readers have and which recipe is easier. Also their age. If they're younger you might also consider which will be easier for some teenagers to take to school and put in a locker. ;) Haha.

So yeah the title says it all I foun blood almost a full week ago, there's no way I could be pregnant, and now I'm kinda freaking out!!! (link)
Weeeell, it depends... I don't get what you're asking, but I'll try to help. Do you mean your first period, or just a period in general?

For your first period you're gonna get hairier, taller, more filled out, might get some acne, etc. The biggest sign is "discharge", whitish to clear stuff, in your underwear.

As for later periods, it varies from woman to woman. I can honestly just tell--I'll wake up one day and go, "Yup, better grab a pad," and it starts. It's pretty weird. You might get easily irritated, get more pimples, have cramps, a headache, your boobs might hurt, you might feel bloated... Periods are pretty much monthly, so if you're saying you got your first period a week ago and nothing else has happened yet, don't worry. You're not due for another yet. Heck, some girls have weird cycles for the first year or and you might not get another one for say two months. I personally had one every month from my first one, but it's different for all.

Hope that helps a bit.

how do i make myself look prettier than i already look right now? (link)
Well, depends on what you already do.

Do you already exercise? Keeps you fit and helps with keeping your skin glowing.

Do you already take really good care of your teeth, hair, and nails? If you bite your nails, stooop! Trust me. I used to, and I thought I had stubby ugly man fingers, when really I just needed to stop biting the darn things. If you bite them and need help stopping, you could try what I did. I kept some hand cream (that wasn't heavily scented) and applied it whenever I wanted to bite. I would look and see how soft and healthy my hangnails were getting and no longer wanted to bite them. Not to mention my hands were soft. :)

If your hair is unhealthy with bunches of split ends from constant styling or coloring, help it out a bit. Lay off the heat and dyes, keep it trimmed. Every once in a while do those bleaching strips at home for your teeth and keep them brushed. On that note, maybe your hair style in general isn't doing anything for you?

Eyebrow shape plays a big factor. Too thick or too thin, too arched or too flat... You have to find just the right shape for you. Look at yours and see if you think they are.

Big one here: Do you SMILE sincerely at people? Are you kind to them? I know you're probably think "Ugh, another cheesy inner beauty activist", but it really is true. When I first met a girl in one of my classes I thought she was gorgeous--healthy glow, long blonde hair, almost 6 ft and slender, bright blue eyes, perfect smile... But she is the most conceited girl you ever met. She doesn't care about others at all and is constantly seeking attention and pushing people out of her way for it (literally.) People hate being around her, so they aren't even around to notice her pretty looks, ya know?

Get your SLEEP! There's a reason they call it beauty sleep.

If you wear make up, wash it off every night or your pores will get clogged, causing the awful red zits, blackheads, and whiteheads.

Try to make sure your lips are never chapped. Vaseline when they're especially dry and a good lip balm the rest the time should do it.

Skimming through this article, I notice it touches on some stuff that I already did, but you might wanna give it a look anyway. It goes into more detail. :)

http://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-Natural-Beauty

Best of luck, and remember that as cheesy as it may sound, the number one thing is to believe that you are beautiful. Not in a haughty "I could totally beat that girl in a beauty pageant, I'm so awesome and perfect!" way, but in a "I love myself and you know what? Even if I'm not perfect, I'm still happy with myself." way.

I have really bad anxiety, and my semester is coming to an end and a new semester is coming up. I get really anxious and nervous about who will be in my class, especially since all of the friends I've already asked have no classes with me. Is there anything to do to not be so anxious and just go with the flow. (link)
Well, chances are you're still gonna be a little anxious no matter what. Just know that as impossible as it may seem, you WILL make friends, even if they're just more distant acquaintances, in many of your new classes. Heck, you might even sit by someone you once just said "hi" to in the hallways, and there ya go: you won't be alone! :)

Also, remind yourself that even if the schedule turns out to be truly awful, it isn't forever.

If you're unlucky enough to get classes where you're lonely, just be sure you always have something to do in your free time in that class. Read a book, write a song, do homework... Know you won't be the only one in the world who is feeling anxious and lonely. There's bound to be someone else in one of your classes feeling the same way you do.

If that's too long and you didn't read it, here's the short version: YOU'LL BE JUST FINE. :) Take a deep breath and remember you aren't alone.

I volunteer at the hospital and I work really hard because one day i want to be a nurse. So I got...I wouldn't say trouble but I gave a patient water that wasn't supposed to have water (but they knew so they didn't drink it). I apoligized the nurse who told me and she's like, "It's okay. I know; you try too hard."

is that supposed to be a bad thing or good thing? Because I cna't think of anytime when the phrase "you try too hard" sounds pleasant. (link)
Honestly I think it's a bit of both in this case...? Both good and bad? You're right in that it's rarely if ever just "pleasant."

As in, she respects that you want to do a good job, but is also annoyed at how you may sometimes do a bit too much, which does more harm than good.

Sorry if that doesn't help at all. I sure hope it does though. :)

My teacher is 27 and he always asks me do I like him if I'm alone with him. I do have a crush on him, but I never tried to do anything with him and I never will. Sometimes I blush when hes around but that's it.If I go to the restroom and Im tardy to class, he will take me to class and he acts weird, he asks weird questions, like he asked me did I love him in front of our class. He will get really close to me and ask me do I love him and if I say no he just says that he loves me. I cant tell if hes serious sometimes or if hes just playing. Sometimes he makes me go in the hall so he can talk to me about nothing thats important. He calls me his girlfriend in front of teachers and students and they just laugh at him. I don't know if hes playing or what. He'll be in class teaching and put his arm around me. I don't think he'll try to do anything but sometimes he gets close to me and its really uncomfortable, even when I back away. He just stares and smiles at me alot. Or he'll walk over to my desk and stand there for a while. I'm a pretty strait forward person, so after a while I turn around and ask him what he wants. He'll ask if I need help or something.
Maybe I'm just overreacting but I just wanted to know what somebody else's opinion was about the situation. Please answer, thankyouuu!
(link)
Well, I'm no expert, but honestly just 'cause you said "please" here goes. :) Sorry if it doesn't help at all.

I would say if he tries to get you alone to talk to you and ask if you like him, there's a pretty big chance he DOES have feelings for you, which is a big no-no. He might just know that you like him though and is simply teasing you for fun?

If it's making you uncomfortable, you should talk to someone about it. If you don't want to risk him losing his job though, and you think it isn't a serious problem, perhaps you could try telling him "Even if you're joking, your behavior is really starting to make me uncomfortable," and ask him back off first?

How do you turn off the wii exactly? I just got it and don't understand. When I hit the power button on the wii remote the little light on the wii goes yellow instead of green. Is that right? Or should it be red? :/ (link)
Mine goes yellow when I turn it off. :)

So unless we're both wrong... haha.

I hope this helped, even though it's short. Have a nice day anyways. :)

Okay I am 15/f and within the past few months I have gotten several charlie horses all on my upper right thigh I guess but now I get them in the back of my ankle and it's so painful for the couple minutes it lasts... but what's going on??? I haven't done anything different then usual I'm not an athlete, I just walk everyday (link)
That was happening to me, though in my calves. :/

Sometimes it's a sign you're not getting proper nutrition. I often hear it happens when you're not getting enough potassium (like from bananas) or not enough water.

Sometimes even if you sleep funny, or keep one position for a long time then move, muscles can cramp. If it seems to get worse I would talk to a doctor, but for right now you should probably just stretch it out, rub it, walk it off.

Well, i think i got my period the other day or so. i bled for w hile, then it stopped and just was a dark brown discharge for about two days. Then today i bled alot and it was red. But now im not bleeding. Is this my period and my body is just adjusting or no? (link)
To know if it's your period, we'd need a little more personal information, such as have you gotten taller, changed shape, gotten more hair, etc. Basically, have you seen physical signs of puberty?

If you have, chances are it's your period. It's not always a constant flow after all--mine will be really heavy on day one, then it will even out. A day after that it will seem as if it's over, and then it comes back, but is really light, as in by the time I feel I should change the pad or anything, it looks brown.

The color changes because, yes, gross I know, the blood is older.

For a lot of people, their first few periods are kind of random.

Heyy, I'm looking into doing a research project and need some advice to help me figure out if it is worth moving foawrd with. I'm going to test the project on here, so please the more people that answer the better! it's super easy!

I just want to know if there are certain sodas you specifically dnt like because of the amount of fizz. whether it has too much or too little and what those drinks are.

and would you prefer if their were lines of soda that had light fizz and heavy fizz?? or would that be too many choices and/or annoying.

basically im trying to think of problems with soda so I can evaluate them. if you can give me any of your personal advice on these issues id REALLY appreciate it. this seems dumb, i know, but it's very important to me. thank you and i will rate!(: (link)
I think Coke has a bit too much fizz. It can hurt my stomach. :( LOL

I've never ran across a soda that doesn't have enough fizz.

I think that it's not needed to have "heavy" or "light" fizz. If there's too much fizz, leave it open for a few minutes and the problem is fixed... though if there isn't enough I dunno what to tell ya! LOL

Hope I helped somehow :)

i thought my friend was lying about how she made her hair shine like crazy but i tried it anyway and it really worked so why does cold water make hair shine? do you know? (link)
There's a layer on the outside of your hair called the cuticle. When it is damaged and doesn't lay just right it can make your hair duller. Hot water doesn't really help it, but cold water helps it lie flat, so it's smoother. And we know that smoother things are shinier! :D (Think of a piece of smooth metal versus a piece of really crumpled metal..)

i'm thinking about getting a pet dog. some criteria for the dog would be a large dog, doesn't shed too much, not aggressive and doesn't bark a lot. also id like a dog that doesn't age to fast ( as in it doesn't develop bad joints and what not until its pretty old)and is easily trained. also ill be living in the city and im a young male (link)
In my experience it varies from dog to dog, but labs are generally really great. I've never met an aggressive one or owned one in my life (I'm a teen and we've had labs at my place since before I was born.)

The shedding isn't too bad, and they can get pretty big. At least, our males do! Haha. As for barking issues I don't know. Our lab that recently passed away was quietest most peaceful dog ever, but his daughter that we kept barks a little too much, though she's still young (about a year old)

We've not had obedience issues with our dogs, and one of our labs lived to be 19. Yes, I'm dead serious, 19. As long as they stay in shape they don't seem to get bad joints too quickly. The one that recently passed had heartworms. He was 9 but still pretty active and liked running around outside.
