You can see spotting in between periods. Have way till your period. I am not sure how old are you. Is this your first period? you could have cramping and a headache. if this is your first period (pamprin and midol work wonders for cramping)You could be getting ready to start your period for the first time but it could also take several weeks your body is preparing its self.

Weeeell, it depends... I don't get what you're asking, but I'll try to help. Do you mean your first period, or just a period in general?

For your first period you're gonna get hairier, taller, more filled out, might get some acne, etc. The biggest sign is "discharge", whitish to clear stuff, in your underwear.

As for later periods, it varies from woman to woman. I can honestly just tell--I'll wake up one day and go, "Yup, better grab a pad," and it starts. It's pretty weird. You might get easily irritated, get more pimples, have cramps, a headache, your boobs might hurt, you might feel bloated... Periods are pretty much monthly, so if you're saying you got your first period a week ago and nothing else has happened yet, don't worry. You're not due for another yet. Heck, some girls have weird cycles for the first year or and you might not get another one for say two months. I personally had one every month from my first one, but it's different for all.

Hope that helps a bit.
