It really doesn't seem like you will be positive if you came back negative that long after when you thought you were exposed. I wouldn't bother telling her unless for some weird reason you are actually positive, in which case it's her right to know. You won't for 100% sure get HIV just because you sleep with someone who has HIV without protection or share blood with someone who has HIV. Also, some people are just resistant to it. That's not exactly what they tell you in health class. Obviously you should still be safe though. Just saying that if you've already came back negative then I don't think there's too much to worry about.

So im 14/f and i have long straight light brown hair, kind thin when i starighten it. So this summer im defintily getting a tan, im not the most colored in my family! hah.! but i least would like to be tan for when i go back to school. So i was thinking of chairing my hair up, i was gonna either get it like a bob and go dark brown, or grow it out blondish brown. i didnt want to dye it because then i would have to dye it all the time and my hair natually gets blonde/gold highlights so i didnt want that in my dark brown hair. so now i want like a lot of blonde in my hair, not just highlights. and im gonna wear it wavy. what do you guys think?
Sooo can i acheive this look with just sun-in, im already getting highlights, if i use sun-in for like 2.5 monthes, will my hair be really blonde u think? when i was a baby my hair was only blonde then turned light brown. my friend when she was a baby her hair was like a muddy brown and then she got blonde hair. I think that sun in would definitely make your hair blonde if you used it for the rest of the summer. The only thing is that sun-in contains bleach and if you have thin hair it could get pretty damaged. So I wouldn't use it like every day if I were you and I'd avoid styling it with heat to prevent further damage and maybe deep condition it once a week as well.
I probably have a similar hair color to you and I only used sunin around 5 times last summer and I wasn't outside all that much and it was right on the edge of being blonde, so a little goes a long way. It also gives you really nice highlights.

Okay so I am goin to the water park this Friday and I want to wear a bikini. It's the only bathing suit I have. I wear like size 32a and I want to make my boobs look bigger in a bikini. How can I do that? I want to make them look bigger! Thanks!!
well this isn't much help for you know but in the future you should buy a pushup bikini. Victorias secret has TONS of them, abercrombie & fitch, gilly hicks, and hollister all have them too. I don't know what stores you shop at, but they're pretty easy to find around. Also another trick that doesn't do much for you for tomorrow is you could put a little bit of bronzer on your cleavage, i've heard that a lot of swimsuit models do that. Bandeaus are also a good type of swimsuit for those of us less fortunate in the boob department, or frilly swimsuits haha.
But for tomorrow, like the other person said, all you can really do is tie it tight. Maybe try putting two of those little pads in instead of just one if you have extras.

The most important person in my life passed away this week, and I plan her funeral if I can get a ride.
She was a teacher I had my freshman year of high school. And I'm not exactly sure what to wear, mostly shoes.
I already plan on going out and finding a black dress to wear. If I can't find an appropriate one, a dress that starts off as a light grey and works it's way down to black with a black cardigan.
Jewlery; I plan on either wearing this long gold/black dream catcher necklace, or a short choker-like silver owl necklace.
Now shoes, I have absolutely no idea. For my grams funeral back in 08, I wore these black converse-looking flats my mom approved of. But flat absolutely tear up the backs of my feet. I was thinking maybe black wedges? I considered heels but I didn't want them going through the dirty and me falling all around.
I always have my toesnails and finger nails painted, and I planned on painting them a very dark, almost black purple.
Any tips, anything I definitely SHOULD NOT wear?
But mainly, I really need help with the shoes. I've only been to two funerals in my life. One when I was like six, and my grams in 08. So I'm clueless.

Basically for the dress, you're fine as long as theres no cleavage and its not too short. You might want to wear a cardigan over it to hide your shoulders and what not as well. You definitely shouldnt wear heels because you may have to walk in grass and the heels would dig in. Wedges would probably work. I have a pair of black ballet flats that I wore to a funeral once, but if you don't like flats then that's probably not an option for you. I don't you'll be doing that much walking so I wouldn't worry too much about your feet getting torn up. I don't know what the necklaces look like but a dream catcher necklace sounds a little showy for a funeral. Thats up to you though because I don't know what it looks like.

I took a pregnancy test and it said no, but I still haven't gotten my period.
Here are the details to my previous question:
I got my period last month on the 17th, it is now almost the 24th of this month and it still hasn't come. I took an early detection pregnancy test on the 19th and it was negative, and I took another early detection last night on the 22/23rd and it was also negative. My period has kind of been all over the place the past few months too. For example, in March I got it on the 8th but last month I got it on the 17th and back in January I had it twice in the month.
The chances that I am pregnant are very slim, so what other reasons could there be for this to be happening? I only just recently started having sex again at the beginning of May. Before that, I hadn't had sex since October.
some girls just have irregular periods. Especially if you're under weight or over weight. Or if you start exercising more than normal, eating less than normal, or have more stress than normal. I had a very irregular period and it drove me crazy so I started taking birth control. Since then, i get my period the same night every month and it is so much easier. So that is my recommendation. It's also good to be on birth control if you're sexually active anyways just in case whatever other method you're using fails.

If you're on birth control, it significantly reduces the chances of getting pregnant, but it is always possible. Yea, it's kind of stupid to some people to do a school research paper on vampires, but I'm curious about all the legends and stuff. Are there any sites out there that might provide me with information? It can't be wikipedia. It can be a scientific site, a religious one, or maybe even one about how people actually think they're real and whatnot. I've searched on google, but I keep getting roleplaying sites and I don't think that's going to help me with my paper...
Whenever I'm doing a research paper, I type in whatever I'm searching for and then do -.com after which makes it so .com websites won't show up. Websites that aren't .com are generally more reliable so you should definitely try that. I tested it typing in "vampire history -.com" and "vampires -.com" and got a few sites that looked good, but I didn't spend too much time on it. Good Luck!

Okay, so a while back I started experimenting with my hair, and I cut my hair the wrong way.. so it grows in wrong. In the back, it has grown in better but its hard to maintain since my hair is wavy.
In the front on my bangs, it grows in wrong and the ends stick up I use gel, hair spray to try to keep it down but I hate fooling with it in the morning.
Is there anything I can do? I'm done messing with my hair, I only thin it out with my razor now. :/ Lol

If you just cut your hair unevenly, then, like the person before me said, you should have them fix it at a salon. I wouldn't recommend getting it thinned with a razor because that will likely cause it to be frizzier and it will also make it harder to grow out, which I'm guessing is the real problem. I have wavy/curly hair as well and when ever it is short it doesnt behave well so I would just try to grow it out and until then maybe wear it up a lot? bangs have never worked out well for me. I got them once and they looked so bad that i had to either straighten them or pin them back every day. So thats what I would recommend you do. Putting gel or hair spray in your bangs is likely to cause you to break out if you're at all prone to breaking out because it tends to clog pores.

ok so i just got perscribed birth control from my doctor a few days ago and i was reading the thing and it said that i cant start until the sunday after my period? correct? i wasnt sure if i could start it anyday but i guess not? idk. but anyway i just got my period today (monday) and i want to start using it asap. so if i start this sunday i will be all set. but i am going away to St. Maartin in the Virgin Islands. (i live on the east coast in mass by the way) and idk what to do. is there a time difference? i dont want to be thrown off by the time or anything im not sure what to do if i should wait or what? does anyone know the time difference? help!
st maarten is only an hour later than the east coast. With my birth control, as long as you take it within an hour of the time you choose, it doesn't decrease the effectiveness, so you should be fine starting it now.

I've always had really irregular periods (I'm 18) and I had my "last" period around Oct. 27 - Nov. 1 then had light bleeding/spotting ~Nov. 6 for a few days. I recently was prescribed Loestrin 24 FE and was told to start it on a Sunday, which is today. I took my first BC pill but I don't know if I misunderstood the nurse...was I suppose to take it the first Sunday of my period? Is it okay that I began my BC pill although I'm not on my period? Will it reduce its effectiveness? How long will I have to wait before having sex without a backup method?
I know for my birth control, which is not yours, I was supposed to take it the first sunday after my period started. Different doctors recommend different things though.
But the idea behind birth control pills is to keep you from ovulating, so if you already ovulated than it will be more or less ineffective until next month. :-/

Next fall, I'll be going to college. My original plan was go to
community college and then transfer to this really good school. It would save me money and sometimes I get home sick. But then we were downtown and were looking at this one school and I fell in love with it everything about it is perfect, if I wante to I could take the bus home everyday if I wanted too, they give you free passes, even though it's inthe center of downtown, it's so safe. I love it and can see myself

Well if 2.3 is the minimum you can get and you only have a 2.2, they won't even look at you. What you should do is go to a community college for a year to get your gpa up and then try to reapply.
Btu if 2.3 is just the average and you have a 2.2 then thats not too big of a deal. If you're worried about the price of going to a good school, you could just stay at home if it's pretty close. But I would say that definitely try to go to the perfect school instead of the community college. It is a lot more fun! One of my friends is going to community college and she hates it. All of her other friends left home and now she's all by herself there and it's much harder to meet new people if you're leaving right after class is over because most of the time you don't talk to people too much during class. Being at a university is just a much better experience if you can manage it. Maybe you could get financial aid or something too.

i have a lot of problems when it comes to shaving by pubic area. my skin is very sensistive and my hair is too dark, so even when i do shave you can still sort of see it under the skin. i want a really smooth bikini area that is flawless. any tips? i have tried everything that has to do with shaving. ive soaked in a bath before shaving, exfoliated, used new razor and shaving cream, and shaved in the direction of my hair. no matter what i do i always get an ingrown hair, or red bumps, or the apperance of hair under the skin. i just want to have a very flawless bikini area. so ladies, what products or techniques do you use to get a nice bikini area?
Well it sounds like waxing would probably be a better option for you. Shaving just removes the hair off the surface but waxing removes it under the surface so it can't show through.
If you wanna stick to shaving: for one you're supposed to shave in the opposite direction of your hair, and put the cream on in the direction of the hair. I usually use lotion or conditioner though, not shaving cream. Not sure if that makes a difference I just don't like shaving cream.
There are products you can buy to eliminate irritation and ingrown hairs, but I can not say if they work or not because i have not used them. I do know that in my experience, I get ingrown hairs when I get lazy about shaving, so if you don't let the hair grow out too much, it wont have a chance to grow in. Also you might wanna buy a special bikini razor. Good Luck!

that looks more like a blow dryer than a curling iron to me. But if you have thin hair i doubt you could do that with a blow dryer. If I were you id get a big one (like a 1.5 or 2 inch barrel) and then brush the curls out and put mousse or hairspray in it to keep it from getting flat.

ive got quite bad spots on my face an my sholders and as you can imagen its not very nice. i've had it for about 3-4 years now an im geting really sick of it. i were foundation to school an to go out to cover them up wich really does help, but you can still see the bumps, if you get me. does anyone know any way i could get rid of this ? im not expecting something that will make my skin totaly smoth but just something that will tone it down, thanks in advance.
If I were you i'd go to a dermatologist and see what they recommend. I'm not sure if you're talking about acne or not but if you are and cant go to a dermatologist, then i know benzoyl peroxide cream works really well. It doesn't do so great at preventing new zits, but it gets rid of them so fast.

I have braces on my teeth and I have had them for a long time. My next dentist appointment says that I am going to be measured for my retainer, at least that's what the postcard says. Don't they have to take the braces off to measure for a retainer?
I don't know how but i know my sister got measured for her retainer with her braces still on. I think they just took the metal bar off and then did the imprint thing and filled in the places where her braces were, but i'm really not sure. It also probably depends on what type of retainer you're getting. I think you should probably just call your orthodontist and ask, but if he didn't tell you you were getting your braces off then you're probably not.

i really want a mac. i'm into photography and editing pictures and i hear its good with that. also, with ichatting, does that come free when you buy the macbook? anything else i should know?
ichatting is free, and very fun! One of my friends is really into photography and she got the macbook pro because apparently thats the best for photography. It's very expensive though. Other than that, macs are much less likely than pcs to get addware and viruses and what not. And i feel that they're much easier to use in general. And prettier!
