starting birth control ok so i just got perscribed birth control from my doctor a few days ago and i was reading the thing and it said that i cant start until the sunday after my period? correct? i wasnt sure if i could start it anyday but i guess not? idk. but anyway i just got my period today (monday) and i want to start using it asap. so if i start this sunday i will be all set. but i am going away to St. Maartin in the Virgin Islands. (i live on the east coast in mass by the way) and idk what to do. is there a time difference? i dont want to be thrown off by the time or anything im not sure what to do if i should wait or what? does anyone know the time difference? help!

st maarten is only an hour later than the east coast. With my birth control, as long as you take it within an hour of the time you choose, it doesn't decrease the effectiveness, so you should be fine starting it now. ]
