I will be going for an HIV test this weekend with my girlfriend Three weeks back i posted a question which i stated i suspected to have been exposed about 11 months back. However i went for an HIV test on that 11th month were i tested negative. I will be going for an HIV test with my girlfried this Saturday. Should i tell her what happend those months back. What if we are positive

It really doesn't seem like you will be positive if you came back negative that long after when you thought you were exposed. I wouldn't bother telling her unless for some weird reason you are actually positive, in which case it's her right to know. You won't for 100% sure get HIV just because you sleep with someone who has HIV without protection or share blood with someone who has HIV. Also, some people are just resistant to it. That's not exactly what they tell you in health class. Obviously you should still be safe though. Just saying that if you've already came back negative then I don't think there's too much to worry about. ]

It is good to know that you and your partner is going to get screening or tested for HIV. From what i know about HIV if you have come back clean after 11 months of exposure, you have nothing to worry about. Not trying to scare you but what type of HIV did you get screened for ? Because there are two types HIV-1 & HIV-2. It is entirely up to you if you want to disclose that information to your partner but i dont think it would make a difference since from what you wrote and your test results - you are in the clear.
