Good Style?
I think that i have really good style, but a lot of people think that it is "different" i wear like hollister stuff and stuff like that, but i turn them into "me." I really need some help to decided if i should dress like everyone eles or if i should be myself???

If you like it, wear it. Don't worry about looking like everyone else and don't worry if people think you are just trying to be like everyone else. I personally can't stand it when people say, "But I want to look different!" and they avoid wearing things that they like just because others have it too. Why limit yourself to what you wear just because it's popular? If you like Hollister, then you should wear it.
I mean, I'm not trying to say you should be a clone and there's nothing wrong with wanting to look different sometimes and wanting to stand out, but not every single day. You can't avoid trends or looking like other people every time.

I think that you should wear what yuo want to wear. It's sometimes good to stand out, and this is the time to do so. So who cares if you dress different and wear Hollister clothes or whatever. Everybody was made different, and you have the right to wear what you like. I like and wear Hollister stuff, but some of my friends don't like it. It doesn't really concern me because they wear what the want to wear, so I wear what I want to wear and things work out perfectly. LOL. What I'm trying to say is to just be yourself and don't worry about dressing like everybody else...where's the fun in that?!

AHHHAHAHAH! i know exactly what you mean. I think things look really cute but they look really gay to other poeple. But you know what? That's how trends get started. I wear flats all the time, and i got my friend to draw alll over them but there like creative drawings theres like an eye and then like a lion. it's cool. anyway, people use to say they look like clown shoes. But now my friend is actually starting a business decorating cuz everyone wants them.

If you like your style now, i wouldn't change it a bit. You don't have to wear what everyone else is wearing to be "cool". People should get to know the actual YOU, and not judge you by your clothes. You should be yourself and if you like your style, then there is no reason to change it.

Fasion, is uncool. Just be yourself with what you wear. Be comfortable with what you wear, who knows, you may be a trend setter, which id good if thats what you aim for.
Also, why would you want to pay a crapload of money on hollister stuff, and be uncomfortable, and unlike you, when you can dress however describes you, and comforts you best

I think you should be yourself. Its cool to be different or else youll be one in the crowd. You need something to set you apart and for most pepole its fashion.

Hun ive learned this first hand to not ever follow the crowd.Be yourself and be an individual i wish i learned that before hand.I used to dress like "skaterish" i guess you could say and people were like "your soo emo" and "stop being a poser" it hurt me and i got out of those clothes and started to dress like everyone else was and i wasent happy with myself at all.When i got into high school i saw a whole bunch of people that had different styles and i learned that its okay to be yourself no one will judge you and if they do then their stupid and shallow.I know who i am and what styles "me" now.So dont listen to people or try to be something your not your better off just being you.

One of the saddest testaments to our society today IS that people try to pressure others to conform to their idealized expectations of how life SHOULD be instead of just letting life be and enjoying it as it is. We are painting ourselves into a truly colorless boring corner with all of our defining, rediculing, finger pointing and snickering at those who choose to express themselves differently. What everyone fails to see is the greatest discoveries, artists, writers, poets, philosiphers, etc. are those who chose to stand apart from the "NORM". So as you can see, I say let your imagination roam free. Be whomever you are and don't let small minds imprison you. We'd be nowhere w/o people like you.

if you think you have great style then you do. keep thinking that, and be different. be who you are. why would you want to be how you say "like everyone else"? do you really want to blend in and be just another face in the crowd? i dont think so. being who you are and happy with it is what its all about. dont change for anyone else, ever.

Be yourself! Totally! Everyone thinks my fashion style is "different" because I buy clothes & turn them into my own, but then I see them trying to copy me. Haha. There isn't really advice needed here. Be yourself no matter what. Don't fallow other people. It's awesome that you turn other peoples style into "you", you don't have to be a statistic or follow the crowd. Be true to yourself.
