Additional info, added Sunday February 5 2006, 12:03 pm: It's actually more of a plum/reddish maroon color...I have fair olive but not tan skin (I'm Indian, but for those of you who are too dumb to distinguish the two, I mean as in from Asia, not Native American) and coarse black hair...I don't splash on a huge glob or anything...light colors like pink look awful on me. I don't like clear lip gloss because it looks like I'm drooling . Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Any way I think that would be really normal I mean we are almost (winks) adults! haha not relly but a little lipgloss is no biggie! [ jammy12's advice column | Ask jammy12 A Question ]

pepermintpatty answered Saturday February 4 2006, 10:02 pm: HAIR - Brown/black
With such strong colouring, you can choose from a palette of bold, vibrant shades - try smoky, kohl-lined eyes teamed with red lips for a classically glamorous look. Alternatively, try charcoal, rich brown, orange, gold or bronze on the eyes, teamed with lashings of black mascara. SKIN - Asian
Asian skins are best suited to soft, warm colours, which will counteract any sallowness in the complexion. Enhance your colouring with black mascara, dark brown eye shadow, warm pink blusher and baby pink lipstick or gloss for an ultra-modern look. EYES - Dark brown
Dark brown eyes can carry off most shades from coral to ebony, but look especially striking teamed with midnight blue, electric green, vivid orange or bold lilac eye shadow and eyeliner. [ pepermintpatty's advice column | Ask pepermintpatty A Question ]

Kays answered Saturday February 4 2006, 8:25 pm: sweetie..... you should wear a lighter shade. or find a darker shade that matches your complection* if you have lighter skin try a calm pink lip gloss. ( not lip stick ) or maybe even a clear gloss.
KiSSxMYxPEARLS answered Saturday February 4 2006, 8:16 pm: It`s fine. But like the other girls said ; dark purple lip gloss can go really bad if your skin is very light. Try like a really light pink lip gloss. Don`t try putting things on when it`s too dark ; it just makes it look bad..
EDIT ANSWER::
Well since you didn`t say what type of skin color you have or anything like that BEFORE we answered the question, we would've been helped you alot better now. But since you showed your description, dark purple is good for you. [ KiSSxMYxPEARLS's advice column | Ask KiSSxMYxPEARLS A Question ]
