Ok see im 13 and im normal weight for a 13 yr old girl, but it seems like all the boys in my grade are smaller.. i mean literly smaller than me- shorter and less weight. i don't no what the " deal " .

yeah thats the exact same way with the boys in my grade..
its cause boys dont mature as fast as girls, most boys dont get their deep voices and growth spirts till they are almost 15 or atleast 14

well your not fat ur jsut tall and tall peopel wiegh more then shorter peopel but they might feel entemedated or something like you being taller then them but once they start goign through puberty and grow and they shouldve a year ago if their 13 2 but thell grow i think unles their midgets.

they just haven't hit puberty yet, give 'em a few years. girls mature physically before guys do. don't sweat it, they'll catch up in a few years. for now, relish being taller.

well boys don`t miture as fast as girls. and if your at a normal weight you have nothing to overlook.

If you say you are the normal weight for a 13 year old girl, then chances are you probably are. Just because boys around you are smaller doesn't mean that you aren't the size that you should be. Don't let them affect how you think of yourself.

Guys mature a lot slower than girls do. They dont grow as quick and usually have a little bit of a higher metabolism. Soon, within the next couple years, you will see that their voices & bodies will mature a lot. Its nothing to be worried about. You are just going through puberty. =) Congrats.

its the same thing with me...boys develop slower than us girls...now you know why they are less mature...but anyway its also because boys are usually more active than girls...but its mostly because they are not matured yet

that is exactlly how it is at my school. and im 13 two. well, the guys start to grow and buf fout in 8th grade through all of high school. I know it for sure b/c we learned it in health this yea for school. its just they way of life! well i hope i helped! theres nothing to worry about! byee!

Well boys are usually a little smaller when you are at that age. A lot will grow in the next few years..don't you worry they will be shooting up like weeds before you know it haha! As you may have seen boys are aslo a few years behind girls..in maturity level etc. Some of them might have also not gone through there growsburt or gone through puberity yet!

ya thats definatly normal!! i remember in 7th grade my boyfriend was like 4 inches shorter than me!! but done worry they all grow like a foot and get muscle, its not really a big deal cause most of the girls were taller than the guys until the end of 8th grade when they all grew! hope i helped!

Guys are aLWAYS smaller than girls at ur age. They grow slower. When you get older you'll notcie they'll start getting taller and...well you kno. Hope i answered your question!

Guys hit puberty later than girls. When I was in middle school, most of the girls looked about 15 and the guys all looked about 10.

girls mature faster than boys. it always happens that way. the guys will catch up with you and will be bigger and taller than you. as the year goes on, you will see it. and as you get older. like over the summer, guys grow tons! so don't worry about it. they will catch up and pass you with height and weight.

okay heres the deal...boys mature slower than girls do...boys dont really start growing until high school...that when they get taller than all the girls...so you will probably be bigger than the boys for a few more years...

Boys mature at an older age than girls. Girls usually mature starting at age 10 or 11, and in 5th grade, they are usually the same height as the boys. Yet, in around 7th or 8th grade, and the boys start to grow, and they become taller and gain more weight.
I'm male, but for some reason, my growth spurt came around the same time as the girls. A picture of me with this kid I know showed me to be at least a foot talled than him. That was a 7th grade picture. Now, he's as tall as me. It's just the time of developement.
You are also probably a tall girl for your age, judging by what you wrote, so that explains a lot as well. One girl was the tallest in her class, it was kind of scary...

LOL I know exactly how you feel. A lot of girls mature faster then boys, who hit puberty when they're like fourteen and older. It's perfectly normal to feel the way you do. =)

Girls just mature faster than boys. They will soon catch up. Everything is normal. :)
