i just turned 14 and in janurary or feburary i got my first period. now its april and i havent had it since, i know irreguar periods are normal but for this long?!?!
xoxoPrettyNPinkxoxo answered Sunday April 24 2005, 6:14 pm: Yes this is normal. When you first get your period it may be very irregular... like you may get it twice one month and then skip another couple of months before you get it again. Your periods should become regular after about 1-3 years after getting your period, don't worry. But remember, every girl is different...so i guess it just depends.
mrs_radcliffe answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 2:40 pm: Yes dont worry about it its very normal, lots of girls when they first start there periods are very irregular dont worry about it just get on with things and stop thinking about it and it will come soon.
Karen answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 12:52 pm: Yes, it's normal to not have gotten your second period for this long. If you are stress or worry about things, both of these things cause your period to become irregular. This is normal and you'll get your second period eventually. rainbowcherrie answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 11:53 am: That's fine. Sometimes there can be a gap of up to six months in the first couple of years of your period. If you are doing a lot of vigourous sport, have been very ill or lost a lot of weight then that will also add to the irregularity of your periods. XoKisSesoX answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 10:33 am: Yes this type of instance is perfectly normal if you just began your period. You have only missed it for a month so it's ok. Some people miss it for longer than that so don't worry. You are perfectly normal. [ XoKisSesoX's advice column | Ask XoKisSesoX A Question ]
Daisy answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 7:00 am: Yes this is normal-also because you are panicking about it therefore stressing, it's another reason for it not coming. If I were you, I'd wait another week and if you still haven't got it again then talk to your mum or a doctor. There are helpline numbers you can call if you don't want to speak to someone i person. Siren_Cytherea answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 11:41 pm: Hey, irregular periods are totally normal for about 1-3 years, sometimes more. I got my first period when I was 12, about to turn 13, and my periods were still irregular when I was 16, until I went on birth control.
So don't worry about it, you're totally fine.
I hope this helps!

xSammieXlubsXux answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 10:19 pm: mostly yes. the latest age you can get your first period IS 14. but if it scares you to the bitter end, then go get checked, just to be on the safe side. the doctors will tell you what to do.
mn731 answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 8:02 pm: Don't worry! It's totally normal!! The more you stress about it, the longer it could delay...Just relax and when it comes, it comes! Plus, you don't want it anyway..right? Hope I helped! [ mn731's advice column | Ask mn731 A Question ]

ladylena answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 7:31 pm: Period- Your monthly cycle may regulate itself after awhile or it could remain irregular. Your still pretty young so theres a good chance that it will. If it doesnt, when you get a little older you may want to consult your doctor on medication to help regulate your period. cUrLyHaiReDcUtiE16 answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 7:30 pm: i think its perfectly normal seeing that you got one in january of febuary but if it goes on to june without getting another one go to the ginocologist and ask him/her for help
o0xbrianna answered Tuesday April 19 2005, 7:30 pm: It has only skipped 2 months. Don't worry about it. As long as you haven't had sex recently, then forget about it. I think you are lucky not to have yours for that long! Lol, but if it doesn't come by like 4 months, then yeah go see a doctor or something! Hope I have helped!
