Little_Miss_Cant_Be_Wrong answered Saturday March 26 2005, 7:25 pm: Hmm... a spring dance? Lets see, what about these for some themes:
-Spring Fling (you can decorate any way you want, cute colors, flowers, whatever...it's just a cute name.)
-A Night Under the Stars (decorate with all silver and blue, with white Christmas lights, and silver cut out stars and stuff. This one is more of a cutesy romantic theme...)
-'Hot in Hollywood' or 'Lifestlyes of the Rich and Famous' (decorate with glitzy gold stuff, a red carpet of course, and those life size cardboard cut-outs of celebities. You could also tape like gold stars on the floor like the Hollywood walk of fame ones.)
-A Night to Remember
-Rock n Roll
-Secret Garden (you could somehow get a romantic fountain, put flowers all over, and green streamers to look like vines.)
-Beach Party (palm trees, sand, you get the picture...)
-Broadway theme...
-Arabian Nights (just like Aladdin! Could it get any more romantic? That would be an awesome theme, you would need to put some thought into the decorating aspect though.)
-Mardis Gras (beads, beads, and more beads)
-Masquerade (watch the Masquerade scene in the Phantom of the Opera movie, and you'll get the idea...)
-Wild Wild West (decorate it Western Style, with cacti, cowboy cutouts, cowboy hats, lasso's, whatever... you can go crazy with this one.)
-80's night
-A Night on the Nile... (decorate with Egyptian stuff, make some pyramids out of cardboard and paint them gold, and make a fake 'Nile River' on the floor with blue rope lighting.)
-'We Go Together' (You know, from the movie 'Grease.' Decorate with all 50's stuff, it would be so cute. Have Grease cardboard cutouts and movie posters up.)
Miss_Lily answered Saturday March 26 2005, 7:11 pm: What about a Mardi Gras theme? I think that would be nice. Everyone could get beads when they come into the door, and you could decorate the area where the dance is going to be in a Mardi Gras theme.
