My math grade!!!
Hey. I'm in the 7th grade, and for my grade in math for the 3rd quarter, I know I got a 87.45% B+. Can that be rounded to an A?

With our school's grading system, you'd need to round to one significant figure for that to be an A.
And if you can't figure that out, you shouldn't have an A in math at all.

Depends on the teacher. most teachers do if you put a lot of effort into things like homework and helping her/him out around the classroom. little things can help your grade go up!!

no i can't. only a 89.5% or more can round to an A. it would be sweet if it could, but normally teachers keep it as a B+.

Sorry to say it, but no. You can't round a grade up by that much. In fact, that would probably stay at an 87.

no sorry...anything 92% or under is a B...unless ur school is different from mine...but even if it was different it still couldnt be rounded up to an A...anything under87.49% is rounded down

It depends on your teacher and where you live.
In texas: 90-100-A
80-89-B
70-79-C
and below 70 is failing
If your teacher gives extra credit try that to bring your grade up. If it can be rounded it would be an 87. So if you want to bring it up just try extra credit or retaking tests or papers. Hope this helps! xoxo BLONDE911

No, it will round down to a 87 because it has to be like 87.50 to even round to a 88.Hope i helped=)

It depends on your school, but the grade is usually only rounded up to the nearest tenth, which would make your grade still an 87. An 87 in my school is a B+.. It wouldn't hurt to ask your teacher though. ♥ Kristen

In school they only round it from the nearest tenth. So it would stay an 87. But if you get an A on the next worksheet, you might be able to raise it to and 88.

Depends on two things... Your teacher, and what grading system your school follows. The highest B we can get is a 92...I am guessing your school is not the same. The second depending factor is your teacher. If you are an asshole in class to her/him then dont expect a pretty little A. If you are ummm...not then expect an A. But if an 88 is an A wherever you live that is quite close, you never know, your teacher might sympathize. So it really isn't a yes or no question. Just giving you the things that can influnece your grade.

well for me an a is a 90 or above so no that cant but if an a at your school is an 88 it probably wont be.. one year i got a 89.49 and they wouldnt give me an a! i even went and was like PLEASE can u just let it slide in all my other classes i got a's but she wouldnt.. but talk to you teacher and ask her to let it slide or maybe she'll give u an extra paper thats an easy 100

It depends, what's an A?
For my school in 7th grade, this was the grading...
A: 93-100
B: 85-92
C: 78-84
D: 70-77
F: 60 & below
But if for you an 88 is an A, then if you talk to your teacher before gradin period is up, then they might change it. But if you don't talk to your teacher, then no, it will stay a B. Or maybe your school is different then mine, but unless your teacher boosts it up the extra .05 points, then NO, it will stay where it is and be rounded normally.

depends on the teacher. if they like you, and you ask them too then they prob. will. but its really up to them..theyre not supposed to do tht though. but congrats...thats a really good grade!! xoxo
