I give up. I dont deserve gods love. I am not worthy enough for it. He gives me a gift and i dont use it. I fail one class, i am a porn addict. I give up i dont deserve god anymore. I came along your post today and noticed that it is from January, so I was wondering, now that time has passed,how things are going.
I know we all go through crappy times, ups and downs, and sometimes it gets better, sometimes it gets worse.
This week I have been thinking about the same thing... I dont deserve God, I am not good enough...well, then I came across Psalm 130. So good. It's the first thing I thought of after reading your post. I can't stand before the Lord, but then again, noone(!) can stand before the Lord. That is where forgiveness kicks in. And this is God telling us.
I believe every Christian goes through times like that. Things may alread be fine, maybe worse.. either way, those thoughts will come again. But maybe Psalm 130 will help then. Read it. You should go read it now :)

NO ONE deserves God at all. Trust me. I know exactly how you feel! My parents are constantly telling me what a horrible person I am and I'm on so many medications that I shouldn't even be able to still think. No matter how you feel or what you deserve, God is going to love you anyway. It's unavoidable. I hope you don't mind but this will be a little long. Let me tell you a short story. I used to date this guy who is now a HUGE druggie, alcoholic, drug dealer and male prostitute. The last time I talked to him, he had a gun up his nose and he kept telling me that he doesn't deserve to be loved by me. He didn't understand that no matter how awful his lifestyle was, I was never going to stop loving him. There's plenty more I'd like to say but I'll spare you the reading time. The bible tells us that Jesus, while he was on the earth, was friends with all types of sinners who repeated, and noticed the error of their ways.
God loves EVERYONE, and it breaks his heart to see us sin, and turn away from him. You're right, you're not worthy of God's love. But guess what? Neither am I! NO ONE is worthy of God, or of his love. We are all sinners, born into a sin-corrupted world. God still would have sent his only son, Jesus, to die on the cross to pay for our sins, even if it meant dying for just ONE person's sins. Thats how much he loves us.
So what if you fail one class? Its not the end of the world, believe me. God certainly does NOT judge you, and condem you, just because you failed a class.
You mentioned that you are a porn addict. Our society is so filled with corruption, what else can you expect? I must commend you for realizing and admiting that you have a porn addiction. Most people, even those who are addicted to porn, live in denial, claiming that they aren't addicted, even when they are. Admittance is the first step to recovery.
So now that you've acknowledged that you have a problem with porn, why not ask God to give you the strenght to overcome this addiction?
You've mention also that you are not as loyal to him as you should be. Now that you've admitted and realized that, why not ask God for help to become more faithful and loyal to him?
Remember: God WANTS to give us the strenght and courage to overcome temptations and trials; we just need to ASK him.

You can't give up. God doesn't hate anyone. He respects people and wants to help you. You just have to put forth an effort to listen to him. Pray and repent of your sins. God will forgive. Jesus said "I love everyone!" "So I will" said a little child. YOu can't punish yourself for getting into things like this. Try and pray and repent and read your scriptures and go to church. Maybe its the church your going to thats keeping you away from God. It all depnds. I REALLY hope I helped!

I believe that every one serves a purpose in life. Everyone is worthy of living, if you weren't you wouldn't be here. Its our faults that make us human. You recognized yours, and its ok to be ashamed, but don't end it all. You go back and fix those faults and try to become a better person. You know the Higher Power loves of us all regardless. I know that you want to redeem yourself because you asked for help, which a step loser to becoming a better person. Please, don't hurt yourself, thats not the way to do it in this case. God sent down Jesus Christ to die for our sins and then He rose again to forgive us our sins 70 times 7, 700 times 7. I failed many classes, I now have a masters degree. I didn't give up, although I could have, many times. I didn't because I knew God forgave me, because I knew Jesus forgave me. God gave you a mind, He gave you a conscience, He gave you the ability to see right and wrong. Porn addict? Well, the first step is admitting that you are one. The next step is to start getting rid of everything in your house/room/apartment that has anything to do with it. Then stay away from magazines and movies and internet sites. You can do it. God is on your side. Ask His forgiveness and start again. You may not believe you are as loyal to Him as you should be, but He is loyal to you, so live up to that. You always deserve to live because He gave you life, He forgave you your sins.

Ok, first of all, it's ok. We have ALL failed in some area of our lives. Ok? Because the Bible says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23. Does that mean that we should all commit suicide because we have sinned and fall short of God's glory? No! God has given us hope! "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotton Son, that whosover believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." - John 3:16. Ok, I am sure that you've heard this so many times! Believe me, I had it memorized by the time I was 6! But I never took it into context, I always just took it as another verse in the Bible that was very nice. But back in the summer, I had a fairly bad riding acident. (horse riding) I was on a mare that didn't care to jump, and I was taking her over 2.5ft jumps. (this is not particuarally large, just not a good idea on a horse that doesn't like to jump) Well, the horse got very mad that I wasn't going to let her run out (that means go away from the jump) and started to gallop. Not quite as fast as the racehorses do, but it was way to fast for a small jumping course. She tried to buck sevral times, but I was able to keep her head up. That didn't make her slow down though! We went over the last two jumps at a really fast pace, and she wouldn't listen to me. She ran into the arena fence after jumping the last jump. I *ALMOST* fell off. If I had fallen off, I would've landed on my head on solid rock. I know that it had to be God keeping me from falling off; the dynamics of the speed that we were going, and how fast we stopped should've thrown me over 10 feet! But I stayed on. I did pull the hamstring and all the ligaments, tendons, and nerves attatched to it in my right knee. I also bruised my ankle bone. To this day my knee still bothers me, sometimes as bad as it hurt when I first injured it. But I am alive. It was during the recovery period of this injury that I learned the real meaning of John 3:16. What I learned was this: God didn't have to save me. I am nothing! Compared to eternity, what have I done that will effect it? What can I do that will change forever? In total honesty, there is nothing! I can do nothing that is big enough and good enough to be signifigant enough to save... so why did God choose to save me? Because of John 3:16. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perosh, but have ever lasting life. God didn't have to send Jesus to save us, in fact, he shouldn't have! We don't deserve it! We (as humans, not any specific person) are awful! We steal, murder, rape, blaspheme, curse the name of God, and more! God's perfect and only Son didn't deserve to die a horrible death! He experienced more pain than any other person will ever experience. He had all of our sins on his back! ALL OF THEM! That were ever commited, ever will be commited. Christ never sinned. So why did he get mocked, spat upon, whipped and hung naked? Because of His amazing love for you and me! It still baffles me as to why this holy and perfect God should love me enough to die for me! I have sinned every bit as much as you have. But I have learned that I should be grateful for what He's done for me and not to wonder why.
It might seem weird that someone should die for you... I mean, be honest. Would you really say that you would want to die for some lowly, awful sinner? Say someone that was a serial killer/rapist, and you were told that this man could live, if you would die in his place. Wouldn't you have a hard time giving up your life for his? I am sure that something like this would go through your head, "What?! That guy killed people, munipulated innocent women, and you're asking me to die for him!?!?!" But thats what Jesus did. You may say, "I've never killed anyone!!" But you did. Because you sinned, you had a part in killing Jesus. You didn't actually nail him to the cross, or whip him, but your sins killed him. It's very sobering. But Jesus didn't stay dead! He rose again, he conqured death and sins. All of your transgressions (mine too) are forgiven! All God asks is that you ask Him for forgiveness. Maybe there's something that's really bothering you.. you could bring that specifically before God.
About being addicted to pornography.. never trust yourself with uncensored internet service if you think that you'll fall into temptation. The devil is tempting you, he wants you to sin. He wants you to be unperfect. He knows that you aren't perfect and wants to smear it in your face. (trust me! He's really good at that!!) But don't fall into temptation! You can say (in your head, or out loud - whichever is better for you) "Get thee behind me, Satan!!" Pray about it, ask God to forgive you for your sins, and to help you not to to that sin again. It will be hard, because it is a hard thing to quit when you're addicted to something. Take it like smoking - it's addicting. We all know that the nicotine in cigerettes will make you want to smoke again. Even if you only try one, you will be hooked. I can't help you really on this, other than to pray about it. Find a close friend and talk about this. Be totally honest with them, and this friend can help you through this. It's an accountability partner. They ask you each day if you've done the thing that you wern't supposed to do, and/or supposed to do. It's hard to be honest about stuff like this I can imagine, but it's very important. I will pray for you.
Don't give up. We've all almost failed a class before. It's ok. Just ask for help from a parent with your school, or ask for a tutor if you feel that you need one.
Hun, no one deserves God! I don't! I know that I don't! Ask any Bible-believing Christian if they deserve God, or if they deserve to go to heaven. If they're not flat-out lying, they will say no. Because NO one deserves to go to heaven, to have a heavenly God die for them. But it was a free gift! I took the gift, and by doing so, I set myself up for humiliation and ridicule. It says in the Bible (I wish that I knew the exact verse but..) "The world will hate you because they hated me first" It's just.... obvious. We don't deserve it, but we got this free gift. Don't give up, take this gift and run with it!! God loves you, deserving or not. Please don't "end it all" even if you want to. If you mean committing suicide when you say "end it all", that is just crazy. Jesus loves you way too much for you kill yourself. Right now, you need a really really good friend to comfort you. Believe me, I know. I need a really close friend too... all the time. But my situation is totally different, and we wont even get into it. But because I have Christ in my life, I am normally pretty happy and pleased with my life, but a person that didn't have Christ probably wouldn't be able to handle this. Might break down. Not that I don't. At times, I feel the same way that you sound like you feel. Very depressed, and feel very unworthy. But that's why I have a few very close friends and a SUPER FANTASTIC BEST FRIEND!!! I love that girl... she helps me. Christ has provided me with such a wonderful friend, I am very lucky that God gave me such a wonderful friend, I don't deserve her.. just like you say that you don't deserve God. She's soooo nice! I do not want to sound preachy but I do want to help you so I am going to be very honest. There are 2 very important things that the Bible teaches us that you need to remember. Jesus died on the cross and rose again for the sins of the world because He loved us. That means that even if you were the only person in the world He would have died just for you. He loves YOU just as much as He loves everyone else. We are all equal in the eyes of the Lord. Secondly, God knew everything about you, even the number of hairs on your head before He created you. That means that He knew everything that you would say, do or mean to someone else before He created you. If you were not good enough for God's love, He would not have created you at all. Everyone makes mistakes because we are human, born sinful, thinking with our flesh instead of our soul. There is nothing, absoloutely nothing that you can do that would ever make God stop loving you. If you want to start doing better in school and leave behind all of the fleshly addictions that are troubling you pray and ask God to help you. Find a good church and get rooted in it. Study God's word. If you are still a sinner, pray and ask Jesus into your heart. He never promised us that life would be easy but He did promise us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Remember that God is always there, He always loves you and He always wants to help you carry your burdens. Forever His love is there.

If you are not saved but want to be, pray to God, tell Him that you know that you are a sinner and that you are sorry for your sins. Tell Him that you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again for the sins of the whole world. Ask Him to forgive you for your sins. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and to be your Saviour. If you pray that and really believe it you are heaven bound.
If you are saved, start praying to God and asking Him to guide your life. Find a church that you feel comfortable at, get rooted and read the word of God. You need to change your thinking. If you always think, "I don't deserve him, I'm useless, why would he love me?" then you're never going to feel good or want his love. You can change. Get rid of any or all porn that you have, talk to someone to keep you acountable so you won't look at it. Get a tutor. Everyone has times when they are down in life but NEVER can you not be good enough for God's love. You're right you don't deserve God's love, none of us do, but because of God's grace he sent us a gift and through that he wants us. He doesn't care about what you've done he just wants you to come back to him. Pray to him and ask him to change your thoughts, to help you stay away from pornography and to do better in school. This is a long gradual process but nothing in life is a reason to end anything. Don't do anything stupid like that, God wants you here. At least you realize you're doing something wrong.
