dancindanger answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 8:53 pm: Put flyers up about her. Explain everything about her on there. What she can do, what she looks like, if she cuddles or not, the price, everything someone would need to know. Put a picture and your phone number. Maybe someone will see that and want your dog. Hope I helped. [ dancindanger's advice column | Ask dancindanger A Question ]

Shortie8959 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 5:58 pm: Sell it on Ebay! Haha, no I'm j/k. Ask your friends if they would like it, or ask them to spread the word, and they could tell their other friends or relatives. You could also try putting up a flyer in your local grocery store. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

AsKmE135 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 2:22 pm: Make up flyers that tell about her.. breed, sex, age, personality, health, etc.. And put your phone number and on the flyer.. and make sure you say "Looking for a GOOD HOME." And You can also put on the flyer that she is free. (IF you guys aren't charging anything for her)Then take the flyers to local veternarians and pet stores and put them up. Usually people who go in those kinds of places are animal lovers, so you'll be sure to find a good home for her. :-) Good luck, and I'm sry about having to give her away. :-( [ AsKmE135's advice column | Ask AsKmE135 A Question ]
zapreth answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 2:00 pm: If she is a prue bred dog you will have no trouble finding a good homme for her. Put an ad in your paper's classified section and specify to good fenced in home only. It is a good idea to put a money amount in the paper to make sure the people who come are serious. Discuss this with your mother. You will want to inspect the home you are sending your dog to as a condition of the sale. People can tell you anything. You need to see for yourself that your girl will be treated well. Good luck! [ zapreth's advice column | Ask zapreth A Question ]
c_assi_e_x_12 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 1:56 pm: Well you could put up posters around your neighborhood, teling the people about your dog and the phone number they can reach you at. Good luck finding the puppy a good home =)
luckycharm answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 1:47 pm: well you could post signs up... or you could put an ad in the paper or something... and about your allergie problem- some dogs have hair coats instead of fur... like schnauzers... most terriers have hair so if you want to get a new dog get one with hair instead of fur... well good luck!!!

LilMia811 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 1:20 pm: Ask a school councelor if it would be okay to post some flyers around the school saying that you have a dalmation who needs a good home. Make sure you put that it is potty trained and all that good stuff. You could even see if they will announce it on the loud speaker. [ LilMia811's advice column | Ask LilMia811 A Question ]
selectopaque answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 1:06 pm: Is your puppy a pure bred dog? If so, then you can go to breed rescue groups about this. What happens at rescue groups is very good. It's a volunteer service where the dogs go to foster homes, while they learn how to live in a house and certain things, like sit, stay, lay, roll. Since your dog has already learned these things, they will continue to teach her new things things to keep her as happy and as healthy as they possibly can.
Here's a few dalmation rescue websites where you can go to find more information.
It's also a good idea to check out your local shelters. Ask them questions about how they take care of the dogs, how often dogs get adopted, and what their policies are about euthanasia.
There are some very good, no-kill shelters. There may be some near your area.
Also, is there any chance you are in the New England, United States area? I.E. Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont area? If so then there is a great weekly newsletter with tons of personals where your dog would be able to find many great choices of a home. It's called Uncle Henry's.
MFS answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 12:51 pm: Start with asking your friends and neighbors. If you find no takers that way, put up posters around your neighborhood. You probably can't put up posters at school, but you can let people at school know that you're looking for someone to take your dog.<br>
I can understand the allergy bit... I am generally not allergic to dogs, but I have a horrible time around dalmatians. It is just that breed. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
