TV Series recomendations

I enjoy watching tv series on DVD. Ones I have enjoyed are "Soprano's", "Sex & the City", "Star Trek TNG", & "Dawson's Creek". Can anyone recommend a new series for me to watch with a continuing story line; not a comedy like "Sienfeld."

Hair growth

I'm a black female, and my hair stops right at the back of my neck. I just started wrapping my hair before I go to sleep, my hair also really thick if that helps any, but what I want to know is, does anyones have any other suggestions as to how to make my hair grow? By next year, I want it shoulder lenght or else, I'm just going to cut it short into a pixie cut and keep like that. Thanks!

I have hair that is a little longer than shoulder length, layered, and stick straight. I would really like to do shiny mermaid waves in my hair---you know, those waves that are very un-frizzed and soft looking...does anyone know how to do these?

Ok..well I had three best friends. One of them I kinda spread apart from because she is always with her boyfriend but we were still friends and we didn;t hate eachother or anything let's call her Maggie. The other two supposedly HATE me now because Maggie randomly told them I was talking about them when I HAVENT been, I mean how can I, I am never with Maggie she is always with her boyfriend. So now I am really mad because my two old best friends hate me. I guess I don't want to be friends with them anymore if they are going to be like this but I don't want them to hate me with a passion!! They won't talk to me and I don't even want to try talking to them! Do you think eventually they will get over it?? I mean one of the girls shares a locke...

Healthy well balanced eating, and exercise!

Ok, this may seem like a pretty stupid question, but I have a simple little question about having a well-balanced, healthy diet and exercise...I want to lose weight, but I know that simply eating too little or not eating the foods you need is very bad for you and simply will lower your metabolism...I'm getting 30 minutes of cardio exercise in a day, but does anyone have a well balanced diet plan that would be good to follow? Something that will keep you functioning and won't lower your metabolism, but will still keep you losing weight (nothing low-carb please...that's so bad for you because you need carbs for energy)...and also, about how many calories a day do you need to function? 1600 is the lowest, or at least I've heard? Thanks!

okay theres this reallllly hott guy that i ride with to school EVERYDAY!!! hes gonna be 19 in April and im gonna 16 in September! yesterday we kept talking the whole way to school. today too. well i used to like him earlier in the year.. and now i fell back in love with him. he said he likes me but right now im a lil too young. but all day i had a great feeling something good was gonna happen! but nothing yet. and we kept telling eachother things that we did with other guys (me) and girls (him). he did a few things but i didnt do anything. he asked me y and i told him i wasnt ready. ok theres this boy that is so fine and he thinks im obsessed with him because I tell other people he is hot. He thinks hes to good for me. So, for some reason he hates me,and he gets girls to throw pennies at me and they pull my hair too. I'm constantly dodging fights because madd ppl hate me and I have no idea why. I'm nice to people, but they're mean. My cousin says its because theyre jealous. But I only have like 3 friends in my whole school, so i know its not jealousy. I want to get him back....should I stand up to him? Fight him? fight his girls? get my boy joe to fight them? I broke into his locker and i stole his jacket and I threw it on the floor, but this one bitch told him that I did it, so i'm busted for that, and he got his jack...

Ok this is weird but i want to get my ear pierced and my friend has a peircing gun. But my parental unit had a problem with it. But i am 17 i should be able to pierce my own ear. So the question is should i just go pierce it and come home to see what happens or not?

ok im 13/f and im goin out w/ a 12/m...yea i no its werid but im one of those ppl that says age doesnt matta lol. so we started goin out a couple of days ago but hes liked me for a long time. the only prob is when im around he doesnt treat me like his gf...i dont know wut to do cuz i really like him but i wanna be treated like his gf...not jus a friend.

I have just moved to Virgirnia from Oklahoma, and I want to buy a new car. However the registration of my old car is expired. I am wondering whether I can trade-in this car when I buy a new car. If I can not, how can I get rid of it?

Ok, so like everytime I try to take a livejournal Icon from some random place it always ends up being saved as bmp. But I can't put bmp files onto my livejournal. How do I change that stupid little bmp to gif or anything else! Please help! Im 14 f thanks..you have NO idea how much it would be a huge thanks. -Adrianna

lol, as the subject of my question suggests, i um, have a micro touch hair trimmer, i got one for xmas cuz i thought they were cool and i got bored...so...i um, ran to the bathroom and like, trimmed my hedge so to speak? lol, it's not like bald or anything but it's cleaned up and i think it's COOL lookin :p, plus, it makes what i have look like the 8 it is, and not like a 7 :/ , lol, so what i'm asking is should i keep it short and well kept, or, grow it out and just be all natural like the chick on "without a paddle" ?? =O haha :p

Can Subs ruin eyesight?

Ok, I recently picked up a couple subwoofers for my car (2 350W 10" Zebras powered by an 800W amp) and now I was looking at my gravy on my plate.. And it seems to be bouncing.. It never did this kind of thing before I got the subs, and I was wondering if they might be the cause?
