Starting running/jogging

My boyfriend and I have decided that we would like to start going jogging together in the mornings. For the past year or so, neither of us have done any sort of significant physical exercise, maybe a bike ride once or twice a week.
Are there any experienced runners or joggers out there that could give us a few tips on how to get into running again. Naturally it is not as simple as just going out and running.
Considerig we're quite out of shape in terms of stamina and endurance, what would be the best way to start?
Any information would be much appreciated :)

My daughter is going to jail for five months and I don't have much sympathy

my 21 year old daughter has been sentenced to 5 months in the county jail (She never did anything like this before and it was a big shock) and I told her I don't really feel sorry for her because she committed the crime and she needs to do the time and maybe it will be a good learning experience and toughen her up. Is this too harsh? Am I a bad person for saying this?

contracted STI

I contracted an STI from a guy I met online, before engaging in sexual contact i asked him if he was clean, drug and disease free. he said yes. I also asked him if he has had sex with anyone that night already, he said no. After we had safe sex, he proceeds to tell me he engaged in sexual conduct with a man hours before meeting me that had HPV . He said he didnt think he had to warn me because I asked if he had sex with anyone, and not specify just oral. What can I do? He refused to tell me the truth about engaging in dangerous sexual activity prior to meeting me.

Ex versus current bf!!!

Broke up two weeks ago with my bf of 1 1/2 years because we were arguing and I wanted to be his 1st priority, but I wasn't. So I spoke with him once during this 2 weeks, I called him! Okay, so the day we broke up, I had 4 guys start talking to me, some from my past, some new, and some I knew from school. Sadness of Long Distance Relationship

My boyfriend who lives far away, recently got onto my im on my email. When I said hello, he said hi back but not like he usually does. When I asked him what was wrong he said "everything" . What can I do to cheer him up since i won't ever get to see him and i do not have a webcam. He's 15 and I'm 14 btw.

During foreplay when I go down on my man, I never know if you're suppose to blow him until he comes, or just stay down there for a couple minutes to get him warmed up before we start to have sex. ok, for starters I'm 23 yrs of age, my current boyfriend is the same age. We've been on and off for 5 years but he was my he sweetheart. I have a blackberry bold 9700 and I've had it for a while now and today I gave it to my best friend to watch over it,and he went on the 'blackberry messanger' but after I had it back all my stuff on the memory card has been deleted like,he wasn't on it for more than 2minutes how could he have talked to someone and deleted my stuff,I had 300 songs and over 2000 pictures,but I tried my memory card in my boyfriends phone earlier he has a blackberry curve and it worked find then he put it back in my phone and it worked fine for abit but once I chicled off it,they all went again like I had no memory card,,how could I get them back on my phone?

I am British, and am studying American History.
I know that most of the users on this website are from the USA, and so maybe those who have studied History may be able to throw a little knowledge and experience into the mix.
I am studying, "USA, 1980-1945" (focusing on all aspects i.e. Economics, Politics, Society, and Foreign Policy) and "USA & Vietnam, 1961-1975". We are given textbooks that focus solely on the syllabus, as well as a reading list of books.
I suspect that American History is taught better in the USA, like British History is taught much better in the United Kingdom. So to anyone who has studied American History (at any level), are...

I don't know if he means to be, but he has embarrassed me badly by saying things that hurt others' feelings. He insulted his teacher's daughter on the last day of school this past year when he thought telling her, "I like your sister" was a big compliment, even if he told her she should wish she looked more like her sister. I just completed my first year of college and I'm 19/f.
I have always wanted to do medical mostly because of the money; I've had dreams of having a nice car, my dream house, and giving my kids the things I never had growing up.

My boyfriend has just arrived from a trip this morning,the thing is that as his trip lasted like 16 hours,I couldn't sleep till I knew he was home and safe,I had terrible dreams about him being run over by a train,it's crazy!I know it,moreover,his phone had no reception during the trip so as I couln't communicate with him,I freaked out,this morning,before I knew that he had finally arrived,I called his family,friends and even to the bus station where his bus was supposed to be arriving!!!Once he was back in town he could see all the texts I had sent him as well as my calls,he was shocked and very concerned,of course,who wouldn't be?help?
