Body image means a lot to most girls around adolesence, what are some exercises that can tone legs, stomach, and build muscle on arms?
Also, could there be a problem with self confidence/ selfesteem instead?

In a nutshell, I hate my stepdad. Well, HATE is a strong word, so let's just say I highly dislike him.
My mother met him about 5 years ago, and they got married a year later. He was nice to me and my sister during their courtship, but since he married my mom he's turned into an ass. Well he's really mean to me and my sister. Neither of us has a bf so he says to our faces that were lesbians. When I had my 25th birthday he told me in front of my mother that I must be a dyke because all of his daughters were married by my age. He always compares us to his daughters who are all married.
My sister has a weight problem and he calls her fat and a slug. He convinced my mother to kick her out of the house while she was still in ...

What is a thesis statement?? I have to do a project along with a thesis statement and summary. I did the summary but im not to sure if i included a thesis or not. i just thought it was an opening paragraph to the story but i could be wrong.

Comedian

For my theater class we have to tape a comedian for about 3 minutes and mimic him exactly. Well, I know that I can find some on T.V. like ComdeyCentral and stuff but I was wondering if anyone knew how to find some online? Like a clip of their performance or something. I don't have a way of tapping it from T.V. so the online thing would be easier. Thanks.

I am so mad. I just got into an argument with a friend. It all started when I told her that I wouldn't date a man who already had children. I told her this because I wanted to have children of my own someday, and that from my parents divorce I learned that dating other people who had kids was a recipe for disaster, especially if the kids didnt like you.
Well then she told me that I had issues!! I told her it was a personal choice and that why would I want to date a man who already had kids if I wanted my own. She is a stepmum and was judging me, that's what go me so mad. I told her it was fine for her to be a stepmom but it wasnt for everyone, and that she had no right judging me. NOw she's not speaking to me.
What should I do? I had every right to defend myself.

I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 months. But whenever we greet each other, we don't hug or kiss. We just say "hey." However, he is affectionate when we are watching a movie or something. But I want him to kiss, or atleast hug me when we greet each other. How do I get him to do this? I don't want to be the first one to do it .. because it might be akward, and he'd probably think "what was that for?" Help?

my dog is a 1 year old bichon frise. he has been scratching himself non stop to a point where he rips his face up & he bleeds. it's not flees (we asked the vet & he takes medicine). the vet suggested hypoallergenic food, which we ordered. my dog has been wearing a cone for the past 2 or 3 weeks (so he won't scratch) but as soon as you take it off, he does. what else can we do to make him stop scratching the way he does or what could be wrong with him? i don't want him to wear a cone or scratch for ever!

I've been doing sets of 100 crunches
*Partial curls front and both sides
*Whatever it's called when you lay on your back and lift your legs, turn yourself into an L, then bring your legs back down without touching the floor and back up
*bicycles (where you like try to touch your right elbow to your left knee while you move your legs like you're riding a bike)
for a few weeks. 100 when I wake up and 100 before I go to sleep.
First - am I doing enough so that I'll actually see results?
I've had trouble with crunches before because I've been on a medication that kinda caused me to gain weight and retain water. I just went off of it and supposedly I'll be able to lose the weight and fat. So ignoring...

i recently went to the optometrist and he said i should wear my contacts less but i hate wearing my glasses as they make me really self comsious. if my eyes are getting worse what makes a difference if they get worse a bit faster? why are glasses better than contacts except for infections?

Ive dated my girlfriend for almost 3 years, I love her so much. Im 25 years old, and for whatever reason ive had issues finishing school and getting my degree on my way to a full time job and "grown up" responsibilities. My girlfriend is 23 and one year away from obtaining her degree. Since we met, she has been very supportive of me and refuses to give up on my school, which indicates the signs of a tru keeper. Lately she has been upset at me because she doesnt see me up to par with school like i should be. I can't seem to make many new friends this year. I've always found social skills an easy thing for me, but this year something's different. It's really hard for me to strike up a conversation, because now I get really shy. I've already gone through the initial introduction process, so most of the people in my classes at least know who I am and I'd like to start hanging out with them, but wouldn't it be kind of weird to randomly start hanging out with them in the middle of the year? or going up to a group in my class and start hanging out with them (when they've already bonded)?
