My Dream is to be a Social Worker

All my life I've wanted to help people and for the past year or two I have decided that the perfect profession for me would to be a Social Worker. Next year I get to take a journey to HighSchool and I was wondering if you have any ideas of what classes would help to acheive my dream?Also... Would knowing a second language help? I get A's and B's and I'm a goody good girl thats never gotton a detention and of course I have never got in trouble with the police because after research I understand that they do background checks. Please would you respond with ideas that would help me later in life. Also, how long do you have to go to collage if you want to be a "Social worker" I am realy intrested in Child, family, and school social wo...

13/f i just got my period today. i tried about 1000 kinds of pads and nothing seems to feel right. ive decided that im not ready just to jump into tampons. i also dont want pads wiht wings. does anyone know good SHORT AND NARROW pad namebrands without wings that i could try. thanks in advance. court ♥

okay so, me and my best friend have an xanga together. we make layouts.. i don't want to make her mad or anything but i hate having her as a partner. i mean, i still want to make layouts but she pretty much ruins it for me. i don't know what to do. any advice?

well i appologize now fore making my question so long!
i really like this guy named ned! and he's in 9th grade i'm in 8th grade and i dont see him very often but he's often in the same bus when i drive home and well i think he likes me 2 because he is smyling at me very often and he also is looking at me all the time! but i kinda am a shy person (with boys normaly i'm everything but shy) so i never smile back even if i like him so i think ji'm kinda confusing him cause once he was in the same bus than me and i was just sittin there looking out the window and than he comes next to me and he was like:

Will it work after the baby?

I'm 18, and my child is due on March 3rd. I'm really excited about this, but the problem is with the father.
Don't get me wrong--I really love him, but I'm scared we leaped into everything too soon.
We were dating for 3 months when I found out I was pregnant. I was scared to tell him, but he was so supportive, and he ended up absolutely ecstatic about it once we'd both been reassured about some things. We're engaged now, and things are going great.
But, that's the problem.
I think things are too good, and that once the baby is born that things might fall apart. I really want to talk to him about this, but I don't know how to approach it.
Any help is more than appreciated.

the other nite the guy i like told my friend he likes me bak and i was rele happy but today i got to play practice (which hes at) and hes completely ignoring me i ask my friend to find out y and she said he decided he doesnt like me cuz he feels like hes being forced into it (i have no idea wat it is) and n e way my friend goes to tell him i think hes a complete and total jerk and hes all like w/e
the thing is i dont think i like him n e more but im not sure and i still rele wanna b his friend so idk whether i should talk to him about it or just return his favor and just ignore him (while hes ignorin me so it probably wudnt b much differant for him)

caring for a black moor in a bowl

i am thinking of getting a black moor and the tank i have got is a medium size bowl i was just wondering how well my black moor will do in this bowl i was also told i will need a bubbler to let the water oxegenate, but will a plant oxegenate the water for me it would be great if you could let me know if my black moor will do ok in those conditions

Follow up meeting a girl

19/Male...I finally got up the nerve to talk to this girl in a lunch line. She seemed decent and smiled at me while we talked and introduced ourselves. But it was very short (maybe 2 minutes). I didn't get her number or anything but I see her everyday, and I still want to pursue her. It's hard to me to think of what to say and I really want to avoid that awkward silence that sometime happens. Any advice?

So I'll try to keep this short--
I'm a freshman this year. In November, me, this guy Seth, a junior, and a few other people went bowling. After, it was dark and we were walking around. It was like the group in front of us, and then Seth and me. In the middle of December, we were both at a party. It wasn't hardcore, but it was like a get-together. At like 10:15 he was like, "At least there are still SOME hot girls here." He said this to me. In the past couple days, more and more people have been saying, "Hey, I think Seth likes you. Yeah so i just had a chocolate pudding cup..cause i was upset!! hahaha....well yeah i think i did something wrong...casue i was amad a my friend "ZOOT" for something really stupid..then i acted like i lost my voice sunday so that i didn't ahve to talk to him..and then i felt so bad i caleld him and told him i was sorry! and then i told him i would write it all in a note and give it to him wednesday!!!! and then he didn't even show up!!! now i am afraid to talk to him see him ect!!!! cause i know i did something wrong...i need more sweets!!!!!!!!!!!!! please give me some advice!!!

Eww weird legs

My calves are huge and i hate it, theres nothing i can do to make them smaller or go away because a)ive tried and b)theyre hereditary.
BUT my thighs are kinda muscular (and i love them like that) and i want them to be waay more muscular
So what im wondering is:
Is there any way i can make my calves MUCH more smaller?
Do guys like girls with msucular thighs?
Do guys think girls are uglier with disgustingly big calves?
I'm very self concious and would like to know. Thanx!

working out=stomach ache?

(fyi im f) today i was working out, and during the end of my work out/ after my stomach felt awful! I felt like I was going to have major "bathroom time" and cramps at the same time. though i never had to do either. i mainly ran, and did some weights. what could have caused this? could it just be cramps coming? thanks!

I am fat and I know I need to lose weight.
The problem is I do not know what foods to eat to stay healthy! I do not need to lose a whole lot of weight, just about 10 pounds. How do i eat right without eating too little or too much and what do i eat?
Any professional help would be great or someone that really knows about this stuff,...please help!

I don't think anyone will really know the answer to this, but it's worth a shot.
Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies of all time. *stop reading if you don't want any spoilers, but considering it's 12 years old I think I'm on the safe side* Anyway... at the end Jenny dies, presumably of AIDS. It seems like the symptoms point to it. That said, wouldn't that mean that Forrest and Forrest Jr. end up dying? The end does not imply that at all but that's the only thing that makes any sense. If she had AIDS and then gave birth, she passed it onto Junior. Having sex with Forrest to conceive Junior would have passed it on as well.

OK, so I like really like this guy. And he's like basicly in love with my best friend. And she doesn't like him at all like that and she's been trying to hook us up for a while, but I don't think it's going to happen. But that's besides the point.
