I've been single for 2 years now, and my confidence is going down because of it. I've finally found a great guy, and I'm really starting to like him. We hang out in a group of 4 of us (2 guys, 2 girls). We spend a lot of time together, and we're all getting to be very, very close. I'm not sure how to get him to realize I like him as more than a friend. I know he likes the girl to initiate things, but I don't want to say anything, him say no, then ruin our friendship. How should I go about things?

Hey,I think i have a real problem with dudes..or do I? It never fails,I just cant never seem to keep a dude.Either they cheat,about to cheat,or lie.Is it me?Do i have a problem?Boys really know how to hurt a girl.There was this boy that "so-called" had a crush on me.I was a junior back then and he was a star player on the basketball team so i was soooo happy because he was an athelete.But his friend and my friend hooked us up.We exchanged numbers and all was good until....the ex girlfriend came back around.Ugh!! This spring I was with a girl for about 4 months. Before school ended I broke up with her; I still liked her a lot, but our relationship was messing things up with me and my friends, school work, etc...I just felt that she felt more strongly for me than I did for her and that I should end things.
Well I miss her, a lot. And now I'm wishing I hadn't ended things. We're still friends, we're on good terms now but I know that I really hurt her this spring, and I know that after I broke up with her she wanted to get back together.
What should I do? Would I be a total ass hole for asking her if she wanted to try things out again... and I don't want to totally embarrass myself if I find out she doesn't even like me an...

I've been in love with the same boy for nearly a year. During June, he said he felt the same way and we began talking a lot. He confessed that he really did love me and everything was going fine. He asked me out a week before today and I thought that it was set that we'd have a mostly lasting relationship. It's only been a week and now he says he's lost interest in me and feels that he doesn't have to try anymore. I'm 18 and I really like my guy friend we've been friends since 10th grade and he asked me out one day then by a note and I never replied because I didnt' really know what to do and I still like him but when i send him e-mails over myspace he hardly ever responds and when he does it's really short. i feel like he's the only guy i could be with because he's so great but i dont know what to do because i don't know if he's mad at me or something he's just the greatest guy that i have ever met. please help me on what to do. thanks

Okay so I like this guy a lot..I've known him for 3 years and we were alway's good friends. He said he loved me. So back in June, i hooked up with this boy my age that i just met that night. He goes to a different school, but we know the same people and had heard of each other before. We were all drinking at this one kid's house, and we were kinda meant to hook up cause everyone else there had someone to hook up with so it just happened. My bf of 4 years told me to take a break about three days ago...i dont understand why he would ask me that bcoz he was the one who messed up..we constanly aruged becoz his girl friends from school kept texting him, and it really bothered me alot..i even cried and told him that i dont appreciate them texting you and he seemed to not do anything about it...so we got into this really deep arugement about the girls texting him....n now he wants a break..i dont understand why he would want to take a break instead of trying to change and work things out for me....He thinks that since we been together for long and wanna get married in the future that its ok for him to take advantage of me and do wat he wants bcoz imma always be with him..idk what ...

So there's this guy I was introduced to by one of my best friends,we had a thing for a while and then I brought him into my "group" of friends and after that he told me that he just wanted to be friends.
Me and my group of friends hangout with him all the time now,but they wouldn't know him if it weren't for me.
Lately,when we are together (me and the guy) he acts totally normal and like my good friend but then later on he will talk to all my friends via text,myspace,facebook,etc. and NOT ME anymore!
He used to like me as more than a friend but I find it weird how he's talking to everyone but me now!
We had a talk about how we were together all the time so maybe that had something to do with him stoppin...

I'm 17/female and it may seem mildly out of the ordinary for a site like this, anyway, I have been struggling with falling in love with this guy who is probably gay that I see maybe two or three times a year. I think about him on a daily basis and creep on his facebook and twitter. He's 25.
I know it's probably my naivety shining through, but it has been two years since I first met him and I have had feelings for him every single day.
I haven't had a real relationship - ever, not counting the stupid things I did back in junior high. Guys don't particularly like me, I never make moves at all, and I always end up being friends.

I have a huge problem! My parents will never accept my boyfriend because he's not Mexican (like me). Actually none of my family approves (cousins annts ect.)! The only person who has accepted it is my older sister and my family is mad at her for it even. I'm afraid this will tear me away from my family,
Is he ever worth that? I'm 15, he's 16, and we've been together for 3 months. I don't LOVE him but I like him a lot. Should I just break up with him because I heard family comes first and I don't want my family to break up because of this!
