if you can whiten your teeth
if you mix baking soda and
salt together and brush your
teeth with it after your done
brushing it with the toothpaste.
is that safe? just wondering :]

basically i like this guy who has a new girlfriend and he just found out i like him and he likes me too..but he has a girlfriend
i dont want to be the kind of girl who breaks people up but how do i make him see im the better choice? sorry if that sounded conceited.

Mom not caring

I'm 16 and a junior in high school. I live with my mom and younger brother. I am involved in a lot of my high school's drama productions and am also a member of the dance team. My mom wants me to switch out of drama (she says it's making me miserable, but it's one of the few places I really enjoy myself) and she doesn't like my being on dance team, not because of grades, etc. just because it's her opinion. Anyway, I have had 8 drama performances, and she only went to three. One I was sick, , and then she left without picking me up because she said I was taking too long. My aunt made her come to one, and the third she went to see her friend's son. She refused to come to the only two performances I asked/begged her to (I had a lead role) and ...

15/f. i really want to buy some cute rings to wear to school. i'd like some funky colorful ones, and then some silver ones, and some with jewels like fake diamonds on them. NOTHING real. lol i don't have that much money.
also i have small fingers =[ so i think i'm a size 5? is that small? if it is then thats what i am.

i was just wonder how many of you girls actually shave everything off "down there". is it normal? or do you guys just trim it?
i know that it is up to me what i want to do. i normally just trim it, but i think it looks weird with just a little bit of hair there.
and if you do shave it completely off how do you do it without hurting yourself?
and i guess if you a guy...do you like it better if your girlfriends shaves everything off "down there" or still has some hair?

Birthday party depression?

I come from a fairly poor family (we are barely holding onto our house, and I pay for my own food, clothing, school supplies, etc.) I turned 16 in November but was unable to have any kind of party (we can't even afford chips and soda for an at-home party). It upset me at the time but I thought I'd gotten over it. Recently, for whatever reason, I've been really upset that I didn't get to have a sweet sixteen. A lot of people forgot my birthday too! I had tried to feel better before by reminding myself that I could have a big 18th or 21th birthday party...but I'll turn 17 as a senior and so all my friends will be in college when I turn 18. I don't know, I just feel like I've missed out on a rite of passage and that makes me really sad. Any ideas to make me feel a little better?

i really want a tattoo for my 15th birthday! i want a small heart, maybe like an inch in size (just outlined). i want it on the front of my hip, just below the jean line (if your wearing ultra low-rise jeans). but im afraid what my friends will think of me. i dont want to sound snobby but i am popular in my school and go with the whole "classic girly girl from hollister/abercrombie". i dont want this tattoo if it makes me look trashy, especially at my age. what do you think? thank you for your opinion! =)

I'm getting a blood test next week and I smoked weed and cigs this weekend, they're testing for hypothyroidism, so since theyre testing for my thyroid they wont be looking for drugs and stuff will they? will my parents find out?

Ok my friends all have boyfriends but I dont. The guy I like (lets call him Sam) is really nice and we are very close. Now I have about 5 girl friends and 15 guy friends. I talk to the guys all the time but when I do my friends get angry and call me a flirt. Ill admit I flirt a bit but only with Sam. I understand how one of them can be mad cause she is the only one other than me that doesnt have a boyfriend and she likes him. Im always with him and coincidently always with the guys. I talk to them all and they trust me, bug me all that. Every time Im with a guy for more than to minutes my friends call me nasty names and wont leave me alone about it. I hate it so much! What should I do?

During the past 2 weeks i've been talking to this one guy alot. (we'll call him Jasen) He isnt very popular and has a very low self esteem and during those times I tried to boost it and help him out. We also passed notes. Then one day he wrote about him sliting his wrists. They are only small but STILL. My dad found the note and made me call his parents. I did and I hoped he would get better. Then at school he told me he never wanted to talk to me about this subject ever again. So life goes on. Now he is really mean to me. A few days ago during outdoor soccer when we were bringing the balls in he kicked one into my face 3 times, back of the head 4 times and my chest twice. It really hurt! Hes been constantly tormenting ...

Ever since i was born i was always the one in the family that didn't fit in. and it's coming close to a year since my mum and dad split..for the past year, i've stuck with my mum and helped her with everything...her divorce sorting out her finances..i've even skipped school to go see her solicitor with her. And whilst that was going on, my brother was doing drugs, smoking, and drinking.
And i guess i can't cope anymore...i try so hard to please my mum, get top grades and help her out, but all she can do is favour my brother over me..my brother practically rules the house, anythings he doesn't agree with has to change and everything he wants to do he does.
So..I'm on the verge on suicide because no-one in my family can give m...

i need some advice regarding my 9 year old son.
he wanted a cell phone and a laptop for christmas. he didnt get either and wrote a statement "no cell phone or laptop i want you dead i swear"
in addition he has a facination with guns and knives.all he draws is blood & death useing guns and knives. hes consitantly defiant especially when it comes to picking up after himself
ex: wrappers or soda cans left wherever he decides where he wants to eat. he is always lying about trivial things and constantly breaks or looses possesions and then lies about it even though it wouldnt have gotten him in trouble.
no punishments or rewards work ! at all ! he'll do things right unt...

my whole life my parents were hardly ever on my case about anything. Now im 18 and im trying to get out of the house more. And they dont like it they say im never home to do anything. I work retail 35-40 hours a week and the expect me to come home after work and clean the house & do a million loads of laundry. My mom has a job and she doesnt do much at her job except sit around. But she doesnt come home and clean up anything because she believes that since she works she doesnt have to clean.
i have 2 siblings that are old enough to do luandry and they havent touched the washer or dryer since we moved a year ago.
i bought myself a tracfone with my money and my dad told me i dont deserve it.

Okay. I have a guy friend...And I love him soooo much...he's definitely my best friend. But in the beginning of our relationship, I told him that I have a step father. It was accidental...and now I regret it. Thing is - I DON'T have a step father...but somehow it spilled out. Now he is questioning our relationship and he doesn't think he knows the "real" me. He thinks I'm hiding something...I know it's kind of stupid...But I dunno. ;_;...Should I tell him that I DO have a REAL father? It's runining our friendship...I know, I know...it seems like a stupid reason...but we are supposed to be honest :( Should I tell him the truth?
