do sit-ups really make your abs tighter?

yes but if you to to many they will make your smomach look puffy. Like an early pegnancy. Leg lifts are better they will tighten your abbs and give you a flat stomach.

yes they make your abs tighter
if you do alot of them though it will start to hurt your back from hitting against the floor
i have an ab lounge which elimanates that prob
but i suggest doing the situps if u want tight abs..just do it on soft carpet or w/e
