tattoo?
i really want a tattoo for my 15th birthday! i want a small heart, maybe like an inch in size (just outlined). i want it on the front of my hip, just below the jean line (if your wearing ultra low-rise jeans). but im afraid what my friends will think of me. i dont want to sound snobby but i am popular in my school and go with the whole "classic girly girl from hollister/abercrombie". i dont want this tattoo if it makes me look trashy, especially at my age. what do you think? thank you for your opinion! =)

I think its fine. in fact, thats exactly the tatoo i want, except filled in in red or royal purple. i think that, as long as you don't flaunt it toooo much, it would be good. in fact, a lot of people would think it was pretty cool

In todays society, tattoos are becoming more acceptable to get. In my opinion, I only think it's trashy if there are a lot of them & they cannot be hidden. Since this tattoo is in a place where people can't see it, I don't find it trashy at all. It's your decision & you shouldn't care what other people think. But if you have any doubts about whether or not you want this on you for the rest of your life, don't get it until you're absolutely sure. :)

Ok well i think that if you want it you should get it, but if you go with that look and are afraid of what your friends will think then you might want to wait a little bit, cus 15 is a lil bit young, and if you go with the classy look then its kinda hypocritical to do that, i guess. Oh and also just remember girls are VICIOUS so if they dont like it or think its trashy they will probably do the worst. I say just do what you feel is what you want to do.

That sounds really cute & not trashy at all. You said you're afraid of what your friends might think. Don't be! They're your friends! & shouldn't think differently of you for having a little tattoo. I really wouldn't worry about it all. I say go for it!

A little heart on your hip? That's not trashy at all, nobody's gonna think badly of you or anything. Believe me, so many girls have that heart on the hip idea ; they all think it's cute. I've actually had that idea myself.

Aw! I think the heart idea is SO cute! Its really funny, because I was thinking about getting one like that too in the same spot! :] I dont think Im brave enough. Also, tattoos can look cute. I think its trashy for a girl to have her whole arm or something tattooed, but honestly? I dont think a tiny tattoo will ruin your reputation. In fact, people will probably think its wayy cool. Just so you know, Mandy Moore has a heart tattoo on her toe and shes definitely not trashy.
