I don't know what I'm good at; how can I tell?

I have no idea what I'm good at doing. My own mind is poisoned by self doubt; others tell me what they think I want to hear. I havn't me t a councillor I can trust to really look at that simple question and work towards discovering the answer.

I don't have any skills or interests that are obvious that I would like to develop. I have spoken to the guidance councillor at a local college who told me I needed to know what I wanted to do before she could tell me how to achieve it. Not much help really. There is a psychologist that can do a heap of tests and stuff to determine my aptitudes but she costs about $400 and it is way too much money for me at this time. Aptitude tests don't really hep me either and those tests deigned to tell people what carriers best suit them always come back with strange results that are always different. Any advice on how to determine where my strengths are would be helpful, thanks.

Is a year away from alcohol enough to have a person quit?

my 22 year old daughter is in jail for the next year for a hit and run. If she admitted what she did they would have gone easier on her but she refused. She was also drunk when the accident happened and she revealed to me she has a drinking problem. Something I was never able to see before. So I wonder, in jail you obviously won't have access to alcohol. Is one year away from it enough to be able to give it up? If so, then maybe a year in jail won't be a bad thing for her and she will learn some discipline and maybe realize because of her problem she lost her freedom.
I will not lie, it is kind of comforting to know exactly where she is everyday and know she is not out doing something dangerous.

New religion- Any ideas?

I'm thinking of making a new religion, just to see if it catches on at all, and what people think. Got any ideas? I want something weird, but not too weird. Something about as odd as christianity. I, personally, am an atheist, but I enjoy messing with people. Also, I'm 13, so take into consideration my limited resources and impact.

Hi.
So I used to have a good group of friends. But I don't really fit in with them now. I tried to get rid of them but just became a loner. Now I'm with them again, and they are the same way. They used to always ask me for advice and they still do. But when I am having big problems they just don't care! I'm very shy (I don't talk in a lot of classes), sarcastic, and a bit socially awkward because of my shyness, even though I am very kind. How can I make new friends and actually be happy at school?

I am 14/f. I am totally depressed on the matter of not getting friends In school. In my earlier school people used to think I am weird and some rude ones even said it on my face. They used to gossip about me but my mom soon changed my school and I was so happy for it. In my new school, I expected friends but here also people kind of at times ignore me and gossip about me. I can feel the hate about me in some people's faces and I really feel bad about it. I am the kind of person who likes having a lot of fun and friends but unfortunately I never get them. For the last few months, I have been reading various articles on etiquettes. Obviously, I have tried to employ them in my life. I have tried to make my family adopt them too. I would like to ask, are those etiquettes to be followed in my own house too. For example, it is mannerless to sit in an awkward position with one leg on the sofa and other one on the floor. But, should I overlook the etiquette at home because I would like to relax. Will I be cheating myself ?

Homeschooling Math

I am actually homeschooling myself in Math. I am an adult. I would like to work my way into Physics. I am starting, roughly, at the beginning. I have been using "Math You See" (It's actually just spelled with the letter "U" but this stupid thing won't let me do that cause it thinks I'm chatting) but my issue with them is that you really only have two options:
1. The Parent book with the Lesson Plan and DVD (which pretty much repeats the lesson plan), and the answer key in the back.
2. The Student book with no answer key, no lesson plan, but it has equations.
I am looking for a homeschooling program that, like Math You See, will cover basic math all the way up through at Least...

Admissions in engineering colleges is the major influencer. I have opted for the entrance exams of several institutions - some of them are over and some are due. They'd end by june beginning. Clean a fridge???

What's the best way to clean a fridge, and what kind of cleaning products do you need?
Every article I see says to unplug it first and then take out shelves.
I live in an apartment and the plug is not within reach because the fridge is right by the next appliance. Also, the shelves do not come out.

I'm 13, female. I feel nothing. For about a year, I haven't been happy, sad, embarrassed, or anything. I know why. Long story short, my dad sucks, and I hate him. Other than anger and frustration, I'm empty inside. Accordinng to my research online, it's probably some sort of defense mechanism. I don't take antidepressants anymore. No one believes me. I go to a therapist, and she thinks I'm ignoring it, supressing it. I'm not, I'm not. I don't even want to tell my parents. They'll say the same thing. Question is, what's wrong with me?

This is a question of what you think of my craziness. Everyone is insanne, because we all see different things from the same things. Our ears turn noise into something comprehensible. Maybe, what each of us hear from the same thing is different. Same for seeing. In turn, what I hear or see happening is based on what I think I said or did. So, in a way, we are all living in our own little fantasy. There's no way for me to even know your real opinion, because you could think I'm saying something totally different than I am. I just see the words, and, from what my brain says I typed, I interpret what anyone would say back. So in a way, we are all completely alone. I'd like to find some new food blogs to follow! I feel like I'm tired of looking at the same ones, but yet just googling for some hasn't given me the results I desire.
I'd like something that's focused on savory foods and simple/basic meals..the kind of foods you can make on a weekday and won't need a million ingredients for. I.e nothing very elaborate and complex.
