i'm 17. female...me and my best friend *stacy* where always together 24/7 before and after school. then i started summer school. she would come up there and help my mom. well one day she ran into her old boyfriend. started hanging with him. *jon* introduced me to *jason* we started daten. then about a week later stacy leaves jon then jason leaves me. now stay and jason are together. i ask her why she did that she said "s***t happens and to get over it" that really hurt me she was my only and true best friend. now should i be mad at her and have nothing to do with her. or give her a 2nd chance?

one of my best friends (brylie) is convinced shes in love with this guy. hes rude && controlling... he always her friends we need to give them "more space" when in reality - they have all the "space" in the world. he wants them to be left alone at parties && such. and we've been doing that. he's not really that rude to brylie, he's extremely pushy towards me && the rest of her friends. she's constantly blowing us off for him && making us feel unwanted and unneeded. what can we do?

okay soon i will have to go to my moms work for a month to help her from 7am - 8pm.. everyday from monday-saturday .. i dont know what to do cause i dont want to lose any of my friends and no one likes to hang out on a saturday.. and i cant just skip a day cause my mom will FLIP.. you dont understand.. and its like a month not seeing my friends.. what can i do?!

My friend is ALWAYS sick. Now that it is summer, my friends and I go out alot together and have alot of sleepovers. So we are alwasy with my friend that gets scik. She just recently got me sick. I don't want ot get sick over the summer, so that means I don't want to hang out with her when she is sick. She should be hom anyway, but she doesn't want to miss anything. What can I say to her so I don't have to hang with her?

i have a friend who enjoys making me feel bad about stuff i have no control over. She likes this kid who absolutely can't stand her because she's clingy (i'm not trying to be mean, but i just thought its good to include every detail) she's absolutely in love with him and if he doesn't answer her on AIM she freaks out with the "are you mad at me? what'd i do" etc. He doesn't like her, but he does like me, and i like him. A few days ago My friend, Stephanie told me that her friend said that I'm not a people person he doesnt like me and kinda piss him off, so I got mad at him and I started to cry. my friend invited me to go to this lake w/ her and her friends next weekend and i thought it was okay at first, but then she started telling me more about it. she said that the lake is her friends grandparents and hes the one who wants everyone to go. hes 19 tho and im 15 and i just think its sorta weird u kno? my friend is 15 too but if we both go there will be 6 people there 3 girls and 3 guys. the rooms are seperate so it shouldnt be too awkward bu i have a bad feeling about it. last night my friend invited me to the movies to go w/ him and her and i said no she was like " he'll meet your parents if you want him to he said hed give you a ride" but im here thinking why does he want to meet my parents, he hasnt even met me! then ...

hi i'm a guy and one of my best friends is a girl. i'm usually the one giving the advice but this time i don't know what to do. you see we have been friends for 3 years and this year both of us have been very close. now that we are just a few days away from graduating she seems to have changed. we don't talk a lot anymore and everytime i try to strike up a conversation it seems she doesn't talk much. the thing is that i think that she's been stressed with her family life and she usually tells me everything i've had bad experiences with fake friends and she's not like that. we both care for each other a lot. and i'm just wondering if this is a faze that she's going through. we used to talk everyday but the past week we have been drifting apart. i need help!!

I'm in my first serious relationship with an amazing guy. My family & friends all like him, and of course I like him very much. The problem is, since him and I have been together, I've spent less time with friends. They have been trying to hangout with me, but for some reason I have more fun with my boyfriend. I feel like a horrible friend because these girls are great friends. Is it so wrong that I'd rather be with my boyfriend at this point in my life? (17/F)

I have this really good friend. Today was her first swim meet of the summer and I went to support her with our other best friend. About half way through the meet we went for a walk outside to cool off. We missed the rest of the meet, including two races that our friend scored first place in. Her mom got after us, but her mom was done being mad before we were done being guilty, so now we still feel guilty and our friend is still mad. I need to do something really big to apologize to her. Any suggestions?

hi, well school has just ended for me. and now its been summer for almost a week. i havent seen or hungout with any of my friends. i havent even talked to them really. im getting the vibe that they dont want to hangout with me.

I`m going to start out by saying this will be long, but thanks so much to anyone who reads this all and helps me out.
I have this best friend, Casey. Words cannot descibe how much of a bff she is to me. She knows everything about me, and always knows what I`m about to say. Were with each other 24/7 and we hardly fight. She`s practicly my sister, we do everything together.

I'm going off to camp soon and i'm worried. I went to camp last year and I had a lot of friends. Since all of my friends still live near eachother i'm afraid that I lost all of my friends!
My main point is what could make me more popular? I'm pretty (I think), I wear hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle, and I have friends here? So what would make me more popular and have more friends?

I love my best friend but I just don't get why people are drawn to her. Guys, girls, even little kids.
Well, she's pretty and everything so I guess I understand why all guys love her. But still, other girls and little kids die to be around her as well.
I went with her to pick up her contacts yesterday and while we were waiting, she was reading a magazine and a little girl just came up to her and after 10 min, the girl didn't even want to leave with her mom!
It happens ALL the time. At school, at the mall, the movies, EVERYWHERE. People just come up to her, they don't even know her, and start talking to her. I don't get it??
