well water

okay so where i live we have water from a well. when i go to my dads he has city water not from a well and when i wash my hair it feels soooo much more silky and it even dries different. is that because it's not well water? like when i wash it at home it dries all weird and gross. i'm just wondering
is there anything i can do about the well water?
ugh i hate it!

Recently, I was taught factoring and now I am applying it to word problems. I don't get what to do, why to do it, or how to get the right answer. Can someone help?
A problem that really stumps me is:
*The sum of two numbers is 25 and the sum of their squares is 313. Find the numbers.
I got the equation x²+(25-x)²=313.
Is that correct? If it is, what is the next step? I don't know how to set it to zero, factor it, and then arrive at the correct answer in the {_,_} format.
Please help me with tips, notes, a step-by step procedure on what to do, anything that will help. I will rate back! Thank you so much! (:

ohkay so me and my friend lily (thats wat we are going to call her) have become EXTREMLY close latley..and use to be the five us.. and no its just the 2 of us..and i really really really miss it and all but the other 3 are all the same. like me and lily have done more sexually and like with boys and stuff.. and we are more for parties and drinking and stuff.. and they are laid back and dont like any of that.. tey do but its not the same as us.. and they are always saying boys more important to us than tey are..which is nt ttrue at all..our friends ALAYS come first..but i mean we arent lezbos or anyttingg..

My brother reads my text messages
and it really pisses me off. I was going out with this guy Joe Hullenfield and he was like "Whose Joe H and why does he call you baby?"
Cuz i left my purse in the kitchen and he took me phone out.
i tell him to stop but he just keeps doing it
its so annoying and an invasion of provacy and im mad because i ddint want him to see any of my txts. and yes he read ALL OF THEM. not just that one.

My friends do the exact same thing every single day its so annoying.
I need new friends, they tell me to shuttup all the time, and theyre nice and all, but so preidctable it just gets boring, im the only spice to our group. Now i have other friends...but itll be weird if i just waltz right up to them and their friends you know? But i dont just want these people, i want friends from all over the place!
how do i do that without seeming desperate and without throwing my current friends in the dust?

Text Messaging

I have a Motorola RAZR V3m. I go through Verizon Wireless. I can send text messages to pretty much anyone else, on any network.
The problem is, when I receive replies, they come in the form of a phone call, and the operator reads the text message to me.
Is there anything that can be done to fix it?

I've recently started a relationship with this guy. He's in a dance group and has told me that his ex still had feelings for him & he still liked her a little. I was hurt but in the end he "chose" me. I hated to even be in that situation. I told him to go with her if he really felt that way. I hated it.
Anyways. He talks to my friends and told my best friend that they're sharing a hotel this weekend because they are in a dance company and there's a competition. (There will be other people there, too.)
Soooo.... I don't know how to approach the situation. I don't think he knows I know because I haven't mentioned it to him. The relationship is fresh and I don't want to come across as being ... I do...

15/f.... i have this friend who i met in the september of 2007 in gym class. it was like an instant friendship and we got along so well. we never faught or anything, the only difference we had was that she was a year older than me but it was not even a big deal. we joked and could talk for forever. then out of nowhere a few weeks ago an akwardness started between us everytime we spoke and it was obvious. our conversation would run dry within a few minutes. i try to keep the conversation going but i don't know, it seems like something about me is bugging her or like she always has something on her mind. i dont know what to do because she's a real good friend of mine but i can't even talk to her anymore without feeling like a stranger...i need to know what to do.

Awhile back, I joined the newspaper at my college. Unfortunately, I decided that it wasn't a good fit and dropped the activity about a month and a half later. When I had only been working there for about two weeks, I was approached about purchasing a t-shirt with the organization's name on it, and I agreed. Now, several weeks later, I have been informed that the t-shirts have come in. One person (who was in charge of purchasing the t-shirts) has asked me to pay for mine. Now that I'm no longer a part of the organization, I don't particularly want to pay for an overpriced t-shirt that I can't wear. I was "together" with a girl for over a year (meaning i never had the balls to ask her out). Then I actually asked her out and dated her for about 6 months. Out of the blue she decided that she doesn't feel the way she used to and she left me. 6 months later, I realize I still love her and she just wants to be friends. ok i really hope someone can help me find out which movie this is, it starts off with a white girl and a brownish hispanic i think guy have im sex. they are late for a game the guy plays basketball and the girl is a cheerleader. i remember the guy missing a shot on purpose so they can lose the game and he gets played, his room mate a black guy tries to shoot him but the main guy tells him the story of why he did it and that it will be the last time. at the end i remember the guy being drunk and being followed by a cop, hes runnning around through the whole house. i also remember him having sex with a teacher or someone whos at a theater. i know this isnt much info but if u've seen it ull know which movie in=m talking about thanks

two weeks to tone up !?

so im 17/f, 5'7 and weigh 125ish - fast metabolism so im naturally pretty thin. next weekend [14th-16th] im going to the beach! so id like to tone up. i just need to burn a little fat and make my muscles pop. i know its not an overnight thing, but any exercises i can do to give me some quick results before then? mainly in my abs/thighs. thanks!
