Friendships in adult life

Perhaps some of you have been in this situation. What is your opinion on how best to deal with friends who rarely make time to nuture the friendship? Sometimes it seems so one sided with me putting in the most effort. I have always been there for her through life's ups and downs, but when I am down, or when I simply want to get together it feels as if I am bothering her. This is a 30+ year friendship and there have been times when I just quit making contact because I was frustrated. I am about at that point again, but maybe I am in the wrong and should just keep trying, and inviting and calling etc. I tend to get dissapointed though because I look forward to getting together and usually she declines.

If you shave down there.. You know where I am gettign at.. And oy don't shave for abotu a day or so.. and your partner uses a condom, is it possible that the roughness from your previous shave may puncture the condom?

Tomorrow

Theres a girl i wanted to make out with and play with tomorrow. I had sex a few weeks ago, and about a few days ago i developed some pimples/zits above my penis. I got an hiv test, and i haven't been contacted with the results.

i am going to the beach by the 21st and i NEED to have a good body by then! i've been trying to get my body to be perfect for 2 years and it hasn't worked so it seems impossible to do it in like less than 2 weeks, but i never give up. i am not fat, i am short girl 14 years old and i have a lot of extra fat on my stomach. it's been there my whole life but it's been getting worse becasue i eat really badly and i say everyday that i'm going to run but i never have time or i'm too lazy. please help me it's so important what should i do? everytime i try to eat healthier i can't because unhealthy food is my escape when i'm sad, bored, angry, happy anything. just what can i do to get the fat off my stomach by then? any suggestions for keeping to e...

so i told this guy who was crazy about me that we should be just friends. and i said in a VERY nice way. he said he was cool with it. i didnt feel like we were clicking as more then friends, you know? but later that day, i could tell he was not happy about my decision, and he was really bummed. now i feel really bad. and i cant keep my mind off of him. what the heck does this mean?
do i like him? or is this a normal thing to do?

lousy summer

i'm having a lousy summer as usual. during school, i've been planning how this summer would be different and life channging, but nothing has happened in the past two weeks, i'm scared summer will jus fly by and everything will be the same. the past two weeks i jus been home, mostly by myself, and i barely get out. i jus eat, get on the computer, watch tv, and sleep. yeh, i sound like a big looser, and i guess you could say i am. i didn't choose my situation, and i don't have many friends, and no close friends, i didn't talk to alot of people due to depression. im 16/f, i can drive. ugh, what do i do, i'm not even motivated. i want to have fun, go to a beach, party, make some friends, hook up with a guy, you know w/e is fun. how do i do this...

Alright well , i've been going to the gym and working on cardio and running on the ski machine and the running machine too , and i'm trying to get curves , but I don't think it's working.. How do you get curves in less then a year??

shuld i wear tanning bed goggles in the the tanning bed? does it protect your eyes better than just closing them? i've been going to the tanning bed w/o googles, and i'm worried it might hurt my eyes or cause blindness..

Hey im 17/f my dad signed over his rights when i was about 2 years old. Then i had my moms husband adopt me, but its a long story. But anyways the last time i talked to my dad was when i was about 6. I want to send him a letter letting him know a little bit of stuff about me. But im not really sure exactly what to say or write. He's been in and out of jail a couple times but i think he cleaned up his act. I just need to know what to write in a letter. Please and thank u

me and my friends are going to the mall for my party and im making a scavenger hunt list. all my friends are in groups and we have cameras and whoever has the most pictures with/doing the things on the list wins . i have a lot on my list already so i need some really crative ideas. what can i put on my list of ideas?

Thoughts of someone/intense pain inside

I'm not sure is this the right category but I'm pretty sure it is. I don't know is this normal, but I get this intense sharp pain, when I see, talk think or even IM my ex ex bf. It's weird like my chest/heart aches so bad, I have to grab it quickly every time. No matter if its good thoughts or bad it happens. Example; Last week, I was just on webcam with him, and I had to leave, suddenly, this intense pain shot through me in my chest. Sometimes when I even think of him, my chest aches so bad, its so unbearable, when I think of bad thoughts between us, it hurts so bad, but even if good times, I'm still getting it. My friend told me, it's because i can't let go of him, and that my body/mind's telling me we need to get back. Even so, I don't ...

this is going to sound crazy.. but when i'm laying down about to fall asleep. all of a sudden i cant move and i feel vibration in the upper part of me body, like a spirit is entering my body. when it enters i hear loud music.. like the kind i listen to. all of a sudden the music will stop and i hear someone say a quote in my ear. when that is over .. it goes back to the vibration in my upper body! like the spirit (or something?) is leaving my body now! last night when that was happening i tried to move and i felt the vibration coming back. i know this ca n not just be a bad dream being i feel this happening to me.(this is probably the 4th time). it does not let me move but i am still awake.
