whats so great about abs?

Whats the fascination girls have over 6-packs? When my gf starts talking about celebrities, athletes, or other guys that have them, she drools over them and I feel miserable about myself and left out, I mean what am I supposed to say to that? I don't know if thats her way of telling me I should have one or what. It kind of bothers me, but I don't know if telling my gf that would do any good. All her other friends think the same thing, I just don't see whats so great about it...so what is it and what do you think I should do?

since its summer & all, i wanted to keep my stomach fit. i've tried crunches & sit ups & they don't work that well. does anyone know any good ab exercises that you can do on your own??

ok well i have flab under my arm and i was wondering what can i do to get rid of it and what are some workouts that help the whole body like swimming, and what can i do to tone my inner thighs. plz help im really fat, and i hate it. ill rate 5s

wide but not fat

I'm not sure if this is the right category.....
I'm 13 years old,112 lbs, 5'0
I don't think I'm fat because I am very athletic but I haev very wide hips. It makes me look a lot bigger than I am because I have big thighs and I'm wide. This makes me wear a size bigger (3-4 short) in pants and I can't wear tight shirts that cut off right at my hips. Please help with ideas of how to change (exercises) or some ideas of things to do or wear so that I don't look so wide.<3 I'll Rate

Messed up weight?

I'm not worried about my weight but I'm just curious... I've been keeping track of my weight daily, and sometimes the scale gives back some weird numbers. Like, I've heard that it's unhealthy to lose more than 1 or 2 pounds a week, but I'll go to bed one night and wake up 4 pounds lighter. It's so strange. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Or is my scale messed up? Or am I just weird? Thanks ahead!

I have a 2 month holiday foor summer...from early july to early september. I was thinking to go gym every day for 1 hr or 1 and 1/2 and eat healthy meals...small healthy meals (5-6).

How much weight will I lose?
How long will it take to lose about 30-40 lbs?

please help...i really need it!

Gain weight

Ok well this is a really strange question since most people ask the opposite, but does anyone know how I could gain like 10 pounds since I am really really skinny and people blame me for being anorexic? (and please just don't say eat more, since I already eat a lot and it doesn't really do anything). I pretty much want to gain weight all over, except for my abbs which i want to keep flat. Any ideas? Thanks a bunch in advance!

i've always wondered this: can you lose weight (in a healthy way) by sweating? for example, being outside in 100 degree weather all day (and staying hydrated and all that good stuff).

does anybody have any ideas of how i can loose like 25 pounds before June 19th!
15 on my legs and 10 on my stomach.
I have a pageant, and i really need help.
I have been going to the gym, but it isnt really working for as fast as i am wanting it to.

Itchy legs

I've noticed that everytime I run,jog or walk in the morning when there is a chilly breeze, my legs get really itchy to the point that I can't stand it. I go home and I scratch till my legs are raw and red. I put water on it and it helps but not alot. Is there any thing I can do to prevent this? What is it? and is there any medication I can take to help the itching? Also, does that happen to a lot of people or is this just me? Thanks! I really appreciate it.

Wieght Promblem

Okay,so i have a friend who started to use"lean blance" diet pill.
She lost 25 pounds in to weeks.
I really want to use it.
My mom isnt a fan of pills,but hear is my story.
Last summer,i worked out and took dance classes.
Somedays i would work out for 3 hours others 2 hours.
But everyday i worked out ate the right food.
No result,after 4 months.
Zip,nada
So yes i have anger about it,because i pushed myself to a place ive ever pushed myself.And im proud of that.
But,im not happy with the outcome.
So i talked to my mom about it but she doesnt want me to.
The sideafixs are headachs or stomach promblems.
Can,some one help thinks of ways of tryin...

I want to lose weight but I can't!

I am not huge but I have a little fat around my stomach and thighs, and I have love handles. I never wear tight shirts and I feel weird in swim suits. I really would love to make my love handles smaller and my thighs that is my main goal. I have been working pretty hard but it seems like even though I am eating more healthy and working out more than I ever have, I am just gaining weight! I do situps every day and I play sports every once in awhile but the main reason for my weight gain is that I am taking Seasonal, birth control pill, and it makes you gain weight easily. I am 14 and I have always been so small but recently I gain weight so easily. I eat healthy every once in awhile but I still LOVE my junk food. I try my hardest to cut back...

okay...
well i dont think im fat but i still want to get fit
the thing is...
everytime i say that i'll go excersise i always change my mind
like i'll be thinking 'hmm i think i'll go do some sit ups' or something like that i always find something else to do like go on the computer or something....this really bothers me
its not that im lazy its just that i have a short attention span...kind of

any suggetions?
