weight and sweat?

Question Posted Wednesday June 7 2006, 9:56 am

i've always wondered this: can you lose weight (in a healthy way) by sweating? for example, being outside in 100 degree weather all day (and staying hydrated and all that good stuff).

it will help you lose the weight, but this is unhealthy. and you will just get the weight back anyways.

That isn't going to do anything but dehydrate you.

Well yes you can...but it's not a lot of weight...and it's water weight so it would just go right back. But if you are in "100 degree weather all day" you might want to do like cardio workouts like running...playing a sport like volleyball, soccer,or whatever it is you like to play. even just walking around for an hour will help you loose weight but it won't be just like that it does take time....
Hope i helped
