Skipping with a skipping rope is my fave workout, it tones your thighs and legs and arms. Swimming does your whole body. Why not just get involved with a sport at school? Find an exercise or sport or activity you enjoy!
I've got a work-out DVD that I find really helpful. I just put it on and it tells me waht to do, so I don't really need to motivate myself! They have DVDs going from £5.99 at Play.com! (Sorry if you're American and can't use this site, I don't know if you can, I'm from the UK, but I'm sure there are other sites you can get them from!!!)I recomend the Hip-hop Workout or the Bollywood Workout because they're so much fun that you don't think oh-my-goodness-this-is-soooo-boring. Because they teach you how to do a certain kind of dance at the same time as making you fit!
If you exercise 20 minutes everyday, or for an hour 3 days a week, that's enough to make a difference.
You could make a wall-chart, with a box for each day, and put a star on the days you worked out, so you can really appreciate your achievements. You could reward yourself with something you enjoy every time you do some exercise (e.g. a long relaxing bath, a healthy but tasty snack, a TV show or a video game NOT a bar of chocolate - hehe). But I hear exercise itself gives off endorphines that make you happy in itself.
orphans answered Sunday June 4 2006, 9:14 pm: try going to bally fittness or have your parents take away the computer. focus on more excersize for your abs and legs, not your fingers =] [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
