so i really liked this guy. we hung out and hooked up a couple times but i even though i tried to deny it i really did want more with him. so we were "talking" for a few weeks and then he just stopped texting me and stuff and then a week later i found out he was hooking up with one of my friends. i can't really be mad at her tho because i didn't tell her we were "talking", so she didn't know. should i mention it to her? and if so, how? helppp please:/

lately my mother has been yelling at me to finish this speech i'm writing. every tome i tell her i'm stuck she just says i'm lying and then walks away, is it okay to feel that she is being way to mean to me?

I'm a freshman in college and it's only the 6th week of school. I have several people that I'm friends with and hang out with but it's kind of scattered. I don't really have like, a defined group. It's weird over the weekends because I like to go to parties but I don't have a big group of friends to go out with, just like a couple of people. I want to make more friends, but how? Of course there's the cliche suggestion to join clubs and I do that of course, but there haven't been many events and I feel like you kind of just make aquaintances in those environments. I don't know, it just feels weird that I only have like 4 or 5 friends that I hang out with. Is this normal? Any suggestions and especially stories of real life experiences would be appreciated=) thanks

Dying my hair.

So I've dyed my hair before. I have experience in it. I've dyed it brown, burgundy, and even a bright blue. I've had my natural hair for about two years now (it's a brownish/reddish/blonde color? Lol. Don't know how to describe it.) and I've grown incredibly tired of it.

All right. I'm not super popular at school and I've only had a couple boyfriends, one of them I've dated twice, but he really wasn't my type and he was mostly after sex, which, I am glad to say, I never agreed to. But, anyway, there's a homecoming dance coming up on Friday and a lot of people have dates for the dance afterwards...
Any tips on asking a guy out? I have really bad issues asking them out since I'm, like, super shy and a bit self-conscious... I don't do sports either, don't know anything about them. I'm 16/F and I mostly write fiction... No, I don't like aliens, sorry. :(

Mistake! Embarrassed!

When I came home from school, my mother was bawling in tears because of what her sister told her happened to my grandmother at the hospital last night. my mother told me and I was very angry and decided to call the hospital, speak to the manager, and have a good complaint about the nurse that gave my grandmother, her patient, VERY poor treatment given to her. But I guess my mother is pretty messed up because she didn't tell me things 100% exactly, which means I did not tell the manager the 100% truth (unknowingly. So thinking back about it now, I kept pausing alot trying to rememebr the exact words she told me to the manager on the phone, so she probably thought that I was trying to make up stories to make that nurse sound really bad to get...

Setting myself up for failure?

What's the borderline between "you can do it as long as you wokr hard and never give up!" and setting yourself up for failure?
I'm aiming for a career as a nurse, but really, there's only a couple of nurses that I like. None of my friends and family love them since they've had bad incidents with them and just think that they're all bitches. And with my experiences as a student working alongside them, I agree 90%. It's kind of hard to become one too but even though I'm average smart, I give it 200% to everything that I do. But it's so hard and I kind of think that it's my limit. Like, I wish I could be smarter, but I think that it limits with people to an extent. But even if I do make it, I'll be surrounded with a lo...

Okay, I have until October 26th to have my cosplay ready to go, but the problem is, we just got a visa card so I could buy a cosplay. The one I want?
Madam Red from Kuroshitsuji. (Yes, I asked earlier questions about cosplay for it) But this time I'm sure I'm doing Madam Red, but we just found out that the visa card will only work within the USA. I REALLY need to find somewhere in the United States of America that sells cosplay at a good price! PLEASE, PLEASE, I need help because the time limit is so short!

Very thirsty!

I drink LOTS of water on a daily basis but I remain thirsty all the time.In the middle of the night,I wake up and drink almost a bottle of water only to wake up an hour later with dry mouth and very thirsty.I do eat salty things ,but this happens almost every night and every day that I am this thirsty. I don't smoke weed, I don't do any type or drugs or drink or anything. My mom told me that diabetes runs in our family and that this may be a sign of it,yet I haven't been seeing any other signs except maybe I've been a lot more tired recently. Should I see a doctor? Should I cut out salt? What else could be the cause of this? Thanks very much!

18/Female. Ok, sorry if this is long but i need advice. ok, i decided i wanted to go to college next year, and moved out and got an apartment for the year. I currently dont have a job either because i dont really need it, because i have plenty of money, but the thing that im having trouble with is making friends. my boyfriend is a senior in high school yet and i am only like ever hanging out with him, (which i Love!) or with him and his friends. but on the days that he just wants to hang out with the guys, thats when im alone! since i dont have like any friends at all anymore, i stay home alone and depressed or dont have anything to do. Lighter Period At Night

Is it normal for your period to become light to almost non-existant at night? It seems that no matter what day im on whether or not ive had a heavy flow, my period just dwindles to nothing at night, and kicks back up an hour or so after i wake up. I looked it up and it seems most people get a heavier flow at night, which is what used to happen to me.
Is this normal?
Btw im 20 years old and ive been getting my period for around 7 years now

So I've been dating this guy (I'm 27 he's 30) since the June and he's moving pretty fast, even says I love you. He basically told me that it was over if I didn't want to commit to him but the reason I don't want to commit was because I'm moving in Jan and don't want to go through a break-up. He's not okay with it not being official so the other day I made it official. (He's even told me I need counseling bc I have trust issues.) He was in Vegas this weekend and we texted but when I called he didn't pick up or call me back. I feel like he's been acting strange and I asked him if it was over. He said I was nuts because we just became a couple and I told him how he hasn't even called me back. He said I was annoying him with all this drama...
