i had this friend and we used to like eachother but we were only friends and we used to talk everyday. then we kept having fights and becoming friends again and again. it drove me crazy and i hated it. now we haven't talked for probably around a month- 2 months. i know this should make me happy but i kinda want to talk to him again. i know if we become friends the fighting will probably happen again but i...

Study Abroad Argument

i have my heart set on studying in israel for half a year after i finish high school this year. my mom is surprisingly open to it but my father is another story. he wont talk to me and keeps saying, when he does actually speak to me, that i need his permission to go when, in reality, i dont. he thinks im going for the wrong reasons like to party or something but i guess that means he doesnt really know his own daughter because i would never do something like that. i dont really know how to get him to just sit and listen to me. anyone have any suggestions?

It was not what I was expecting at all! I was so suprised and taken back and was just thinking "What the ****?". I bought it aware of how many people hated it but I just had to see for myself. For one, who knew Danny could sing like that? I hated the covers but his voice. I was impressed. But let's keep it to the screaming. You proved that you can sing now scream bro! Anyways, the re-mixes like damn.. I don't even know. I did kind of enjoy them though.. But I'd rather be listening to the originals. As for the demo, raw whatever. And the new song, Breathless, now that is what we all are used too. Let's keep it that way. I can't say I hated the album I was just so surprised. But you won't find me listening to it that often.

wedding ring irritating finger

Hello my wedding ring is 10K white gold and it recently just started irritating my finger. It's all red and really itchy. I work in a kitchen so of course i help with dishes and i recently started doing this about 2 months ago but just developed the irritation about 2 weeks ago. I was wondering if maybe im allergic to the chemical in the dish water/sanitizer? I started wearing my ring around my neck and tried staying away from dishes but my finger doesn't look any better. I've tried putting lots of lotion on it but still no results. Any suggestions? I also tried wearing my ring on another finger and no break outs have started. Thanks for the help everyone!

Do I have to put all my past jobs / previous work experience on my resume?

I'm filling out job applications and turning in resumes and I realized that I don't really want to put down one place I worked at. I worked there for a few months but I didn't like the job and it's a place around here that everybody thinks is pretty low (bad employees, bad management, bad everything). I don't want a possible employer to read it and say, "Oh, it's one of those people..." Is it acceptable for me to not include that part of my previous work experience? I feel like it would hold me back from some job opportunities in this area if I put it on my resume. I wouldn't be like lying but I'd just be excluding a part of my past, right? What do you think? I don't want to break some unspoken rule about resume techniques, of course.

Okay, well I am a sophomore in highschool and there is this junior or senior(i'm not too sure) that I liked. We do not have any classes together except for lunch and band. Band is four times a week. From the starting of the year we both used to stare at each other when we see each other in the hallways. When we look at eachother we would quickly look away and we would do that a lot. When he played his instrument in band he tried to impress me when playing. That happened a couple of times. I really wanted to talk to him, but since i am shy i really couldn't. How to befriend employees.

So I really love the store Hot Topic and I go there a couple times a month or so. When I turn 16 I do plan to apply for a job there and I really do want a job there. Well when I go there there is always this one employee who is there! And we've made small talk before and I don't think he recognizes me which is understandable but I thought if I can befriend him or other employees then my chances of getting a job there would increase slightly? It doesn't even matter if it doesn't, I just want to be friends with the employees and recognizable to them when I walk in and able to talk to them because they are all so nice and funny. Hot Topic feels like a second home to me, I'm just so comfortable there.
Haha, this was a weird/ corny spiel but yeah, any advice?

before i asked my boyfriend out last year, i had a best friend who was a guy. me, my friend, and my boyfriend are all in band. my boyfriend would make me feel like crap for hanging out with my friend becuz he was a guy, he got mad if i even talked to him. this went on for like a year so i finally stopped talking to my friend to make my boyfriend happy. then we broke up for a little while, like 2 weeks. when we got back together he was best friends with my old friend. now all he wants to do is play fricken black ops with this kid. i hate my boyfriend for what he did, i hate him so bad for it. he pretty much stole my friend. but if i tell him this, he will ask me what he's supposed to do. and i don't know the answer to that. please help me.

The Idea of Closure?

My ex boyfriend text me today, apologizing for everything that he did to me and he told me that he's glad that I found someone new and that he misses me. Basically we dated for five months and he broke up with me in August through an instant message conversation, he was my first real boyfriend and my first sexual partner. Before we dated I had known him for almost half my life, and I guess that I was his first “love” although it's complicated because he did a lot of things towards the end to dick me around.
I decided that I miss our friendship but I don't know if I can have in my life after the way that he treated me, so I asked for closure. Closure to let go of someone who was a big part of my life.

i like him. he likes me.i just dont really know wht to do now. its difficult because he is never on the internet, he has no cell, and i cant call his house, honestly the only time i ever see him is at school.i know, sounds stupid. its just that he is shy. he doesnt party or really hang out with his friends on weekends and he is REALLY into his school. like he works hard to get good grades. i just dont really know what to do now. he knows i like him alot. and i know he likes me just by how he acts around me. a lot of people think we have a thing but like...we dont really, not outside of school anyway. and prom is comin up in june and i really want to go with him...if he even wants to go. most people just tell me tht he needs to grow a pair....

Do cars need to be warmed up in the winter before driving them?

I just bought my first car, but I've never even done anything with a car before. I got my license and that's about it for my whole experience with vehicles. Anyway, I know my dad has his truck warm up before he goes anywhere in the winter. I don't know if he does this so the interior is warmer for him to sit in or if it has to do with the car needing to be warmed up so it doesn't break. So, do I need to make time to warm my car up in the morning before driving to school or can I just hop in and go? It's a 1999 model so it's kind of old and used too so I really don't want to mess it up right away. K Thanks
