people are "popular" because other people want to be around then.. they usually have amazing personalities and are very very nice.. or they just have a lot of money! one of those... our school has the same thing.. preps, wanna bes, dorks, skaters, sevies.. the whole 9 yards... n e ways the "preps" or "popular" kids, dont consider themselves to be better that others just because ppl call them preps and stuff.. they dont even think that about themselves...

okay. one of my best guy firends...yeah...i think im falling for him. ive been thinking about this for the past 3 months. we're really close and i really love spending time with him. my school's semi formal is coming up and id really REALLY like to ask him.
but i have some issues.
a) i dont want to ruin a quality friendship by throwing "love" into the mix

all kids want a way to earn money, my little brothers are always after it..
one way would be to ask you parents or you brother/sister(s) if you could do some odd jobs around the house.. for a little money
when i want money i usually go to the elders in my neighborhood and ask if they need any help around the house.. since it isnt always easy for them to get stuff done, like it is for us! they love to just have you there to talk to, but u dont get paid for that.. so tell them you are just looking for a way to earn a little extra money to spend and im positive that they will have something for you to do! especially around this time of year.. raking their lawns or shoveling their snow helps them a whole lot..
u say your money hungry.. y do u need the money? i think that you should be happy with what you have and think about all the children who dont have near that... just a note.. but really consider that when you quote "money hungry" it will change the way you think about yourself and what you have!

maybe u shouldnt ask her out just yet.. wait till you know for sure.. but its fun to take chances sometimes! if people r telling you that she likes you, then she probably does.. when you are talking to her, leave little hints that you like her.. or just ask her who she likes.. she probably wont tell you, but if she hesitates then she likes you... atleast thats what i do! haha! well i hope it works out..

I work in a cinema and part of my job is to make sure that people don't talk or mess around because it disturbs the other customers.
It would help me a lot if you guys would say how you think I should react in the following circumstances.
1) Group of people talking,throwing popcorn.
2) Two people making out.
3)People walking up and down the aisles a lot.
4) Little kids sitting in the aisle because they're too short too see over peoples heads(against fire regulations)
5)People with their phones on(messes up the sound)
6)Teenage boys wanking in the back row(has happened to me before)
7)People waiting outside banging on the doors to come in whilst a films on.
8)People making obscene gestures/giving me verbal abuse.
9)Having a queue, knowing we are going to run out of seats.
10) Babies crying.

try getting some velcro tape.. or just regular packing tape to tape them up with.. another cool thing is to poke a hole in them and run a piece of string through and let them hang at different heights.. it gives it more of a 3 d effect

My boyfriend will not be getting me a chritmas gift this Christmas. I have already purchased his gift and given it to him because he needed it early (an expensive snowboarding coat). I am trying not to be upset. Times are tough, money's tight, the problem is he spent $200 on his mom's CD player, and bought his dad a forutne in hunting gear and we went out all weekend and he had no money problems then. Sunday we went shopping and he mentioned that he looked at his account and he's going to have to write a bad check so that he get his sister a gift. I told him not to worry about me, he says he's really sorry (he's really beating himself up over it) and that he'll get me something great the next paycheck, which won't be until January 5th. Am I being stupid and girly because my feelings are hurt? (link)

I have come to a conclusion.
My conclusion is: I am physically incapable of paying attention in algebra. I'm dead serious. I look DIRECTLY at the teacher, follow along in the book EXACTLY, and block out the sounds of Rick and Betsy ENTIRELY but I just CANNOT take in a word she says! When I was in regular math, I got all C's. Then I was moved to PreAlgebra and got 98's for a whole year. Now I'm in stinking algebra and starting to get C's again.
Have you ever been in a room with two people speaking a completely forigen language? You can listen and hear everyword, but it doesn't process in your brain. Welcome to math class. Another reason may be because I have it first class (8:00-9:45am) and the 13-year-old brain doesn't start fully functioning untill about 10. I'm just ALWAYS thinking about something else, usually my boyfriend, but sometime's I'll just read through class and then fail all the tests and homework. How can I get this into my brain??(sorry this was long)

go to tutoring.. it help you get focused in the morning.. and it will definitaly help ur grades get better.. its not just for stupid people.. before tests and stuff lots of people come in.. but the regulars get attention first.. so u should start getting to school early. do ur hair and makeup in tha car and get to studyin maybe 30 minutest earlier with tutoring... that way ur brain is ready to learn
