My Boy Joey
I am in love with this boy Joey. He is in 8th grade and I am in 6th and he will be leaving for high- school soon. I don't want him to leVE BUT i DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL HIM BEFORE HE LEAVES. i WANT TO HUG HIM AND TELL HIM HOW I REALLY FEEL BUT I DON'TR WANT TO BE EMBARRESED

I was going to say: I would hug him and tell him you will miss him. You may be embarrassed, but he will probably feel good about it.
But he may be too immature and react badly. So you can just not take the risk and like him from a distance.

You could ask him if you can talk to him privatly and tell him, what you have told us. But you can't stop him from going to high school, and if you really love him you will respect and understand that he has to move on in his life and grow as a person.

first off, does this JOEY even know who u are? if not then there is no use and making yourself go through all of this.. just let him go.. 2 years is 2 years 2 much for a 6th grader maybe when you are in 8th or highschool then you should start dating older guys.. i mean u cant help liking them cause most of them are mad hot! hehe but you should wait.especially if you dont know him.. it would be wierd if some kid 2 years younger walked up to me and said they loved me and gave me a hug.. it would be embarassing and it would really turn me off.. see if any of your friends have connections with him or his friends.. and go from there! you should just be friends with this guy, if even that

Well I doubt he'll flunk himself and stay behind and not go to highschool, but I dont know stranger things have happened I guess.
You cant really stop him from going even if he cares about you. You can have relationships with people that you dont go to school with. That is what after school is for.

I am in 6th grade too. I don't know how you feel about dating older boys but at this age it's not the best idea. They are more experianced and want to rush into things. He's probably not the love of your life so just let it go. Wait until high school or college to date older boys, then you are smarter and more experianced.

Well, Talk to him but before you do that tell yourself that you really don't care for him. Then talk to him. That way if He turns you down you won't care.

There is nothing you can really do to stop Joey from leaving for highschool. I would just let him go, since there isn't much of a point to get attached to someone who you know is going to leave really soon. Not to mention the age thing...but let's not go there.
