Hey, my name is Colleen and I'm 13 years old. I like to give advice and I'm gifted with the talent of not judging while I advise. I'm a relatively nice person and though I'm not high up on the social totem pole I have a few close friends who are like sisters to me. One of them actually is my sister. Anyway, I like to read and write and I spend a lot of time on the computer. I like to do charity work for fun and I don't have a boyfriend though I once did.

Have you tried talking to your friend? Because that should be what you should do before you do anything too extreme. If you have tried talking to her about it and she still tries to break you up, I'd try setting her up with someone who you think she'd like because maybe then she would forget about your boyfriend.

After putting chap stick,lotion,etc on my lips, my lips are really soft, but when I add lip gloss over it my lips tend to peel. I use Clinique and MAC lip gloss some of those most expensive lip glosses n it still makes my lips peel. Is there anything I can do to not make them peel? Its driving me insane! This is the ONLY thing I cannot figure out!
you could try a slick chap stick. it makes your lips shine like lip closs but it also keeps your lips from chapping like chapstick. I'm sorry I can't be more of a help.

You see, whenever I fly on airplanes, I usually get airsick, and I begin to throw up. But just a few months ago, I didn't throw up, so I was pretty happy. But last week, I just found out that my bf's mom invited me to Las Vegas, so we're taking a plane. I'm really scared that I'll throw up. AND I don't wanna be ashamed. What should I do to keep me from puiking? It seems so uncool typing this on an advice column but no one knows who I am anyways.
There are pills for it. Try not eating junky food before and on the plane. If you think this might not be a physical problem, it could be a nervous reaction. If you think about movies like castaway or books like hatchet that involve plane crashes, you might just be psyching yourself out and causing you to throw up. Don't worry, it's normal. Try not to think about the bad things about planes, (crashes, turbulence) try to look forward to what you're gonna do when you get off the plane. Try to sleep too. If all else fails, have the barf bad handy. Hope I helped/

wen i have my period im not really aloud to take a pill but my stomach always hurts alot wut can i do?!?! wif school n everything i dont wunna go wif muh stomach hurtin!!
Hmmm... Ask your parents to please let you take pills for it. Most people would probably take tylenol or maybe midol. But neither of those work for me for some reason. lol. If they don't maybe you should try Ibuprofen? I used to get cramps so bad it would feel like somebody was punching me in the stomach. It was horrible. I tried to take tylenol and it didn't work, midol didn't work either, actually it just made it worse. Then I took Ibuprofen and it calmed the cramps down. One of my friends who is younger then me actually, her mother put her on the pill. It doesn't mean you have to be sexually active. It really does sometimes help. Hope I helped. Love and Luck,

Today when i went to the bathroom i noticed that i had ALOT of discharge in my underwear what could it be? should i do anything about it?
If you're young, like 10 to 13 or so and haven't gotten your period yet, Congratulations, you just won a free ticket to hell for the rest of your life until you get metapause (sp.?) Getting your period sucks because you have to buy tampons and pads. But it's good because that means you're now a woman.
If you're older and already gotten your period, my condolences, you might have a yeast infection. Now, don't panic, just go to a doctor.

hi. im 5'5 n 1/2 or something like that and i weigh 103 pounds and i know that im skinny but i want to lose weight. should i? do u think i might have an eating disorder?
Oooh... I wish I weighed 103 pounds... lol. I weigh 120 and I think I'm overweight but my friends say I shouldn't try to lose weight. Don't try to lose wight, hon. It wouldn't make you have an eating disorder unless you completely starved yourself or became bulemic or made yourself so skinny, you were skeletal. Make the healthy decision and don't do anything drastic to your weight. Best of luck

What is it called if you eat alot of sugar and it sends you on a sugar high for like 10 minutes but then you get really tired and just HAVE to lay down. When you lay down or try to rest it feels like something is holding you down so you can't get back up again. This has happened to me several times and I just don't know what to think.

yes, that's why you should be very careful about using new condoms whle having sex. If you leave them out in the sun, they crack.

If the woman gets really excited, her vagina gets wet and slippery and that lets the penis get in. It's harder if you're a virgin though. Not that I know for sure, I've just heard that from books and other people.

Anorexia is a eating dsorder where you dprive yourself of nourishment. Anorexia is different then Bulemia because Bulemia is where you throw up every time you eat.
I need some good advice about my sister. She is 15 yrs. old {I am 21 if that matter's} and has been getting in alot of trouble at school & home. She got into a fight at school, stole my mom's car one night to go joy riding, tried to hook-up with a 26 year old ex-convict, and the other day was caught giving a note to a boy with a condom inside, asking him when they were gonna have sex! My mom, or me doesnt know what to do anymore. Talking to her about this doesn't seem to phase her. She just cries, promises to do better and never does. Do you think she is doing this for attention? Also, I told my mom I think she need's to get on birth-control, for the obvious reasons, so she will not get pregnant. My mom said NO! she said putting her on birth-control is just going to give my sister the go-ahead to have sex. I don't know if she has ever had sex or not, but if she's passin' out condoms to people then i dont think it'll be to long before she does. Any advice?
Your sister probably is having sex because people who are virgins tend to be a little more hesitant about sex. If talking to her doesn't help, just give her the birth control pills so at least she won't get pregnant. Now that would be horrible. If your mom doesn't want you to, don't listen to her, if that girl is having sex, then you should try your best to keep her as safe as she can possibly be.
