skinny but want to lose weight hi. im 5'5 n 1/2 or something like that and i weigh 103 pounds and i know that im skinny but i want to lose weight. should i? do u think i might have an eating disorder?

well if u realize your skinny, then i dont think you have an eating disorder...yet atleast. {People with eating disorders look in a mirror and see themselves as fat, and they dont believe they have an eating disorder) they live there life in a lie basiclly without REALLY realizing it....You definetly dont need to loose weight though! Maybe eat what you eat but run or do pilates or yoga to make you feel better about yourself! ya know! GOod luck girl~!

It really doesn't sound like you need to loose weight. It seems to me that the greater issue is your body confidence - as others have said, why do you need to loose weight if you already acknowledge that you are slim? Try concentrating on what you like about your body, rather than what you dislike - try repeating things like "I have great hair/eyes/breasts" to yourself every day - hopefully you can break out of this cycle of wanting to change yourself and make yourself slimmer than you should naturally be, because being underweight can have long term consequences for your health and fertility. Oooh... I wish I weighed 103 pounds... lol. I weigh 120 and I think I'm overweight but my friends say I shouldn't try to lose weight. Don't try to lose wight, hon. It wouldn't make you have an eating disorder unless you completely starved yourself or became bulemic or made yourself so skinny, you were skeletal. Make the healthy decision and don't do anything drastic to your weight. Best of luck

Hey girl! You have no reason to want to lose weight! You are absolutley normal! Not to thin but not to big! I also don't think you have an eating disorder unless you are throwing up after you eat or if you aren't eating at all! If so then you need to stop! That can be harmful! And no one should do that to their body! But other than that your great! Tell me what you decide! ]
Hey I do not think you need to louse weight, and if you want to be skinnier you mite have an eating disorder depending on how much you want to louse. How much do you want to louse? those signs point out that you are very conscious about your body and usually people at your height weigh more so dont even worry about losing weight just stay healthy and youll never have any problems.

If you lose more weight you will. Why do you want to lose weight? Its so unhealthy to that to yourself, if you only weigh 103. Please don't I hate to think you'd be endangering your health. Hope I helped. Good luck.

Honey, if anything, you're too skinny, bordering on underweight. I checked my BMI when I was 5'3" and weighed 102 and it said I was underweight - barely underweight, but still.
If you're starving yourself, or making yourself throw up, or forcing food/nourishment out of your system in any way, then chances are you do have an eating disorder.
However, if you're doing none of that, don't start!! Leave your weight the way it is. You don't need to lose anything.
