the otehr day one of my best guy friends brother told me that he liked me, not the brother. my friend. we get along really good, and we easily talk to eachother. but, he doesnt come off to me as a guy i would date. i mean, we get along great but i like our friendship and i dont want that to get ruined but i also dont want to hurt his feelings.
don't answer this by saying, "tell him you admire our friendship and dont want to ruin it by going out" i've heard that too many times and don't need to hear it again. i just need things to do or say to make him relize that were better off friends.

Honestly, the advice other people gave you is the probably the safest bet that you'll still be friends. However, if the friend hasn't told you himself that he likes you I wouldn't even worry about it right now. Now, when the guy tells you himself that he likes you then try telling him that he's like a brother to you because you're such good friends and you don't want to ruin it by dating him.

Yes she is a true friend if you don't like him anymore but apparently you still kinda do or else you would have known right away that it wasn't a big deal. Don't take that the wrong way though. Just be happy for your friend. Find someone else for you and then you will be happier.

i emailed my friend to tell her some really good news (i finally got something i worked really hard for) like three nights ago and now shes finally emailed back. its a reply from my original email and all it says is 'dya know the school website'.
am i overreacting to be hurt like i am? it seems like she doesnt care. there wasnt even a 'congrats' in there.

my friend is depressed. she always tells me her problems and itold her to get therapy bcuz it helps and ive been through it. but after i tell her this she always says "see thats why i cant count on you. you never help me with my problems" she always makes me feel so guilty. How can i help her?
You just need to be really sweet and I understand that you say the therapy and if she would yes it would help her but you need to just talk to her and help her understand that things aren't her fault and stuff like that.

my friend is going out with a guy. she is like my BEST FRIEND EVER, and this guy is 16 and shes 12. im worried because we both know this is an illegal relationship. what should i do?
That's not an illegal relationship. It's not a very healthy one or a very smart one but, the only way that a relation ship is illegal is when someone 18+ is going out with someone really young. But I can understand why you are worried. I would talk to her about it and I know she's not going to want to break up with him, but, at least tell her to be careful and tell her how you feel.

I have this friend,(E) and every time I turn around, I hear that she was trash talking me!! Well me and my two other friends, (L) and (H), and they keep telling me she was talking trash about me!
