advice

okay i dont know which singer/band cam out first but somebody copied somebody.

these to songs sound just alike:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=u7vAcLY0v8s
and
http://youtube.com/watch?v=R7DRtl6CTqc

is it just me that thinks that or what?

They sound a bit similar, but not, by any means, the same. They're 2 totally different styles of music. One if more pop/rock and the other is country. Evan & Jaren came first, then Taylor Swift.

There's this guy, who is 2 years older than me. I'm 16, by the way, and he also lives 20 minutes away. We've developed a really good bond, and I think I really like him. I think he might like me too but I'm not really sure. We never really see each other and I always get hung up on him, like he always seems to pull me back into liking him when I try to move on. Should I try to shake my feelings and just keep him as a friend or try to pursue something more?

Thanks for inboxing =]

The best advice I can give:
Follow Your Heart.

Do what you really think is right. If you don't think you'd work well with him in a relationship, then try to move on.
If you can't seem to shake the feelings you have for him, then just tell him how you feel and go from there.

Personally, I would try to move on if you live far away and don't see each other often enough to maintain a romantic relationship.

Either way, though, you just really have to sit down and think about it. You need to figure out what you should do, and how you should do it.

Hey People! Can you help me? Well before you start reading this you have to have a experience in dating or have a boyfriend or girlfriend.

What age did you start dating or get your first boyfriend/girlfriend? I really want to know cause it will help me with my prob so please reply and i always leave a good rate and a comment!!

I had my first 'boyfriend' in 5th grade. I really don't count this, seeing as we were young and didn't do anything except share crayons.

My first actual boyfriend, that meant something to me, was when I was 14/15.

I have the Sims 2, Season, and Pets loaded on my computer..
If I delete the regular Sims 2 can I still play Seasons and Pets? Because it's taking up to much memory on my comptuer.
Thanks! :)

No, because Seasons, Pets, etc are expansion packs. Meaning, they work off of the original Sims 2.

An ex friend of mine recently accused my boyfriend of raping her (he wouldnt touch her with a ten foot pole, and she likes him so if he DID try anything it wouldnt be rape.) And she accidentally admitted she lied about it, so I'm wondering if theres any good revenge songs that anyone knows of, because she's still spreading ruomrs about both of us, telling people we broke up and stuff, and I kinda want something that says "haha youre not getting to me" :) lol Thanks in advance.

'Hey Italy' by Halifax.
It's one of my all time favorite songs =]

are these called beanies?

http://community.livejournal.com/madradhair/29977993.html#cutid1

where did you guys get yours? (assuming you have one if not skip this question)

Yes, they're called beanies, or like someone below said, even a 'knit beret'.

I don't personally own one, but I've seen them at Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, and Rave.

if a boy strocks a girls nose is tht a sign tht he likes the girl

I'd think if a guy touches you, in a caring manner like that, it means he has some sort of feelings for you.
Your best bet is to ask him, though.

Okay, so I’m basically asking about ‘Love’. I know the word is really powerful and so is the feeling. And I’ve noticed people say it when they don’t really mean it. Plus, a lot of people get hurt over it. But, I have a question about it. Is there such thing as ‘puppy love’. You know, I would call it ‘teenage love’. There has to be different kind of loves. Like: the way you ‘love’ your family, the way you ‘love’ your friends, the way you ‘love’ a husband, the way you ‘love’ a pet, and the way you ‘love’ a boyfriend. They can’t all be the same kind of love, can they? Because I am a teenager with a boyfriend that I ‘love’...but not the way you would love a husband or anything. I would almost call it ‘teenage love’ because we are still young. And plus, we don’t really understand the meaning of love, right? So, could anyone explain this to me. I just want to understand the meaning of love a little bit more than I do right now. Is there different types of love? It would be nice to have this explained a little bit further. And it would help if I was told that I make sense or not. Because sometimes, I don’t know what im talking about. I just want this clarified for me. =) Thanks in advance!

I know what you mean. Love is such a poweful, amazing thing. I honestly, think real 'love' is a very rare in teenagers. I mean it can happen, but it doesn't happen too often. In my opinion, Love and Hate are the 2 most over-used words, ever. People say them all too often without meaning them.

I agree with you when you said:
"Because I am a teenager with a boyfriend that I ‘love’...but not the way you would love a husband or anything. I would almost call it ‘teenage love’ because we are still young. And plus, we don’t really understand the meaning of love, right?"
In my opinion, ys, it's a kind of 'teenage love'. More like an infatuation or a form of lust maybe. I agree that it is by no means the same kind of 'love' as that you will have when you get married. Teenagers -like you & myself] don't know the real meaning of 'love' yet, so we call these feelings a different kind of 'love'. 'Teenage love', I guess.

Now, I haven't fallen in 'love', but I know countless people who say they have. I think they're the biggest idiots in the world because they think it's the deep, meaningful, true love you will one day have for the person you marry, when it's really nothing like that. The feelings you have now, at this age, and the feelings you will have when you're getting married are on a totally different playing field.

I think people call it 'love' because they don't know the meaning of it yet. Then they will one day, and realize they didn't really mean it when they said 'I love you' to their boyfriend/girlfriend.

Now, let me clarify:
These are just my honest opinions and by no means straight facts. There really is not right, or correct answer for this question, unless you've been through it, which I haven't.
I hope this makes sense
and helps you understand =]

i'm a freshman guy and i really like this girl but shes a sophomore and shes so nice and she's really friendly, but she kind of treats me like the brother type and i really like with her and i flirt with her all the time but she doesn't really realize that she flirts back a little because she's just like that to everyone, what should i do?

Tell her how you feel. Duh =D

It seriously isn't that bad, just tell her.
"[Name], I think you're a really sweet and awesome person, and I like you as more than a friend." Or something along those lines.

Or, you can bring it up casually. Like while you're talking to her, hint like, "So I really like this girl but I don't know what to do."
Or ask her who she likes?

Good Luck!

So my boyfriend was hitting my face with a shoe [sparring gear] He didn't realize it was hurting me. He didn't stop after I gave him a look to. So when he stopped a few seconds later, he did it again so out of nowhere, I slapped him. He got really upset and later said it was disrespectful. I don't know what to do! He didn't even think about what he was doing to me. I know what I did was wrong, i quickly realized that. I did something before thinking but it wasn't a hard slap. What am i supposed to say or do? he's completely pouring this out on me. i just want it to stop.

He hit you with a shoe?
Now to be rude or anything, but that's ridiculous. If my boyfriend, or anybody in general, hit me with a shoe and hurt me, I'd be a bit angry.

He's wrong for pouring this out on you for a few reasons:
A. He hit you first.
B. He wasn't getting the message to stop, therefore you had to act accordingly.
C. You didn't hit him hard and he hurt you worse.
D. He shouldn't be hitting you in the first place!

I would explain to him all of the above things, and apologize for hitting him. Then I'd nicely ask him not to hit you with shoes anymore, because then you won't have to slap him to get him to stop =]

I'm making a scrapbook and I would like to know where I can buy um.. a 3 ring binding .. thingy XD

You know these?

http://img.en.china.cn/image/10/00/03/54/48/1001798256_1_big.jpg

Any stores you know of? A website I can check out?

Thanks!

Most office supply stores, such as Office Max, and maybe even Target would probably have them.

I'd suggest though, just buying an actual binder. Then, you can have fun decorating the cover, too!

I'm thinking to buy one of these iPods.
Do you think it's worth my time and money?
What would you rate this iPod on a scale 1-10.
If you have this iPod, what are the cons and pros of this iPod?
Thanx!

My best friend's mother just got one of these iPods, and my friends says the graphics are amazing. She knows a bit about iPods, too, so I'd think they'd be worth it.

Another thing she likes about it is the size. Her mother says she can take it virtually anywhere because it's small and compact enough to fit into smaller spaces than a normal video iPod.
I'm thinking she'd probably rate it about an 8.5.

Though I have a normal video iPod and I think it's the best thing since music itself ;]

16/m

My girlfriend always thinks I'm lying to her. For the smallest things. And I don't have a history of lying, so I don't know why she thinks so.

I'll say something like, "Today I went to the store and got skittles..." and she'll be all "stop lying to try to get attention." I don't know why she thinks I lie. I don't make a big deal of it though cause I don't want her to get mad.

Any help here?

I agree with the person below me, she seems like she doesn't trust you. I think the best thing to do, is ask her. Next time she says something like that, say, "But why do you think I'm lying?"
Make sure to say it calmly, so you don't get her upset.

If this girl is like me, it's going to take her time to trust you. I don't know how long you've been together, but if it's only been a short period of time, then it's going to take her time to trust you.

But in the meantime, I'd comfront her about it. Lying to a girlfriend/boyfriend is serious and if she thinks you're doing it, something must be wrong =/

The only other thing I could think of, is if she's kidding around. I know I sometimes say things like that to my friends just to mess with them. Maybe this is the case?

alright i know it's kind of early but i don't have a lot of money and i have a lot of friends (not to be braggy) and i can't buy them all stuff, does anyone have any ideas of stuff i can make or put together for them? thanks

15/f

- Make them picture frames! Then, put a picture of you and them in the picture frame and you've got a great homemade present.

- Make them a mix cd! Of all their favorite songs, and some you think they'd like.

- You can buy a bunch of little things (lotion, lipgloss, etc) and put them together in a basket.

- If you have any friends that like books, buy them a book and make them a really cute bookmark, then put it inside of the book.

That's all I could think of, but try google?:

About how many times do you go shopping a week and actually buy something?

About how many times a week do you stay home and just chill? (as in, not really hang out with anyone, more like just watch tv, talk to your family, or whatever.)

And lastly, how many pairs of socks do you think you need (or have)?

Just random things on my mind...

1. I usually go actually shopping, about once/twice a month. I'm really not a big shopper. I usually go and buy what I need, which is usually just one thing at a time.

2. I usually stay home about 5 nights a week because I like to do my homework, run on the treadmill, watch my T.V. shows, and talk to my family. But I go out on weekends, and occasionally during the week. Sometimes I don't stay home much during the week because I go to my little brother's basketball games, too, if that counts?

3. I have tons of socks, probably more than the average person needs. haha =]
But most people I'd think, would need at least 10. (one for every day of the week plus a few back up pairs) Probably more, though, based on if you do sports/change your socks?

Ok, well there's this guy at my school, and i totally like him. Buuut, there's one little problem. I can't talk to him. I'm like, really shy.. I need a way to talk to him without completely making myself look like a fool. How should i start a conversation? and what should i talk about?

Compliment him!
I believe most guys (or people in general) like compliments. Then, just start talking.

Fr example, say he's wearing a band T shirt, you could go up to him and say something like,
"Hi, I really like your shirt today, that band is pretty good."
Then let him respond, then ask what other types of music he likes, and compare tastes, etc.

Or, ask for help on your homework. Like, ask him if he got the same answer then ask him what he thinks about the class, teacher, people in it, etc.

It really isn't that hard to start a conversation with a guy =]

Want to ask a girl out, but what should we do?

Like what activity, e.g. movie.

For those who are really into answering questions like this, could you please tell me a reason for the activity, like why would i want to do that with her! Thanks so much!

Kronix

Ask her what SHE wants to do.
Then, the reason you want to do it, because she would like to do it ;)

But here are some ideas anyways:
+ The movies- everyone loves movie?
+ Bowling- fun & get a chance to talk.
+ Mini Golf- same as above.
+ The Mall- You get a chance to talk to her while spending time together in a public, comfortable envoirnment.
+ Just hanging out at your house- Spend time together.
+ A School football/basketball game- Get to see other friends, while you're together.
+ Maybe a show/concert- A band you both like and spending time together.
