yeh/ people don't really know what to call them, I guess you could call it a beanie although beanies are usually have tight fits

Yes, they're called beanies, or like someone below said, even a 'knit beret'.
I don't personally own one, but I've seen them at Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, and Rave.

I don't have one but you can get one at Forever21, Alloy, Kohl's, Hot Topic, etc. Any place in a clothing department/mall.

I do believe you're right, they're beanies.
Please, keep in mind I do not have one, but I think you can get them at just about any hat stores, or place that sells hats.
