about
I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end. I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.
advice
ok well i have been with a guy before and everything and im 19/f last year i was with a jerk that i thought was the one for me was going to spend my life with him but then i found out about his secret life where he was unfaithful to me and a whole lot more which i wont go into detail.
lately i think i have been checking girls out and im not sure but i think im finding them attractive. I would look at them and scan them from head to toe i think i check them out and i cant help myself!i do find guys attractive but am i bi sexual?does this sound like a thing that a bi sexual would do or am i like this because i got hurt badly by a guy i had my heart set on?is it normal to be straight and severly check girls out?i think i would even make out with a chick but never done it so i wouldnt know
thanks in advance
I don't think you're bi-sexual. I just think you're curious & there's nothing wrong or abnormal with that. Most girls, if not all, wonder what it would be like to be romantically involved with another woman. Checking out girls is something you've probably done all your life but didn't consciously notice until now. It's kind of a subconscious thing people do. They will look another person up or down without even realizing they did it. Not everyone does this, but most people do.
I did it at a time or another, and to be honest, I have no problem admitting when I think another female is attractive or that I wouldn't mind being involved with them. I think you're not bi-sexual or a lesbian until you actually go through with a sexual act with another girl. There's a difference between saying, and acting.
So no, I don't think you're bi-sexual or a lesbian, just curious. And it's completely normal.
I can't flirt or ask out guys in my town, but I'm totally fine with guys from like, two towns away. Is there something wrong with me?
No. Some girls would prefer guys from a distance. It could be because you've known the guys in your town for a while. Maybe from school, or church or something & you think they know all about you, and that guys from different towns are more of a thrill.
There's nothing wrong with long-distance relationships though. And to be honest, 2 towns distance is "long-distance." I'd still say that's local, but everybody has a different definition of everything.
Okay so I'm 14 and my boyfriend is too. And I absolutely love him ! He makes me so happy and I never felt this way about a guy before. Like he's the first guy I lasted half a year with and I'm planning to stay with him longer. But we promised each other to stay together forever but I'm just scared that it won't last. I mean everything is perfect and we did have several arguments but we came through. But does forever really happen? I'm the type of girl who can stay faithful to a guy for a long time. And he is too but do you think forever is ever going to happen?
Forever is not for real. You're not a vampire, you're not any type of inhuman creature or mythological being. So no, forever is not for real. Everyone dies sometime.
To be honest, your relationship probably won't last long. You're 14 and wants/needs change when you grow & mature and a few weeks from now, or even a few days from now, you might not want the same things you currently do. How you feel about life a year from now will be different.
Trust me, I'm 18 and am completely different from where I was when I was 14. At 14, I still thought I'd be living at home at 18, and going to college, and that I would probably have no tattoos or piercings (though I wanted them). Now I have 9 piercings, 2 tattoos, I'm out of school & I live 2000 miles away from where I was born & raised. Even 2 years ago I didn't see myself with most of what I have now.
Minds change, people grow & children mature into adults. Nothing is forever. But I can applaud you on one thing - way to make your relationship last 6 months. Most kids your age say they love someone after a day & then break-up a week later. So kudos for taking time with someone & making it last this long. If you do happen to keep going, I congratulate you. But, I hope this helped in some way.
I am fifteen years old, female. I am not in any relationship. I have random, strange, out there ideas, im pretty spontaneous. Im a pretty opposite person, meaning i take either one or the other extreme. example relating to this, i will either take a long time to romantically like someone or i will like them really fast. its always one or the other with me, not in the middle. I feel like when i get older im either going to take long to get married or get married spontaneously to a guy that i havent known very long. That will just result in multiple marriages. But to get to the main idea of this, a little while ago it randomly came to me that I WANT TO GET MARRIED, and NOW. I know it sounds stupid, because im young and dum and not even with anybody but the whole idea of it sounds so appealing right now, at a young age. Then when im a bit older like 22, thats the time to party and date to get to know people and few years from that get to know people to find a husband. I just kind of wanted to know about why i feel this way, about other young peoples marriages if its your own or someone you knows' personal experience.
Honestly, it's hormones. When you're a teenager, your hormones are all in a frenzy and kind of make your brain think ridiculous, out there things. Kind of like having a baby, or getting tattoos when you're not old enough.
Your hormones can sometimes make you think that you're old enough, and mature enough to handle adult situations which are why kids these days are having sex & children so young. Not only that, but they're in a rush to grow up & be adults because they think they can take care of themselves, when they can't. I'm sure there are other people like you who haven't found a middle ground to dating yet. And why are you so upset over it? You're 15, you're young still.. there's no need to be a professional at dating.
I think you should just take a step back & really look at yourself. If you're thinking about marriage already, then you need a serious reality check. Marriage is not for children & there's a reason why the legal age to wed is 18. But really, it's just your hormones so you're not very different from other kids out there around your age.
they look like birthmarks.. the little black dots you get when your really little. Like 2 years ago I got the first one and then 2 more appeared. Its like.. they arent there and then the next day when I wake up I see it on my hand. There havent been anymore recently that I know of but its weird.. why did/do these random spots appear?

^the three on my hands
I think they might be beauty marks. That's usually how they look. If you're worried, you could probably see a doctor, but I don't think you have anything to be afraid of. Just Google it or something & see what you find. Or, WebMD it.

so this guy i've been hooking up with is coming over tonight. he's been too impatient to wait until this next week. theres one problem though, i'm on my period. i dont plan on having sex with him either way, but what if he tries to finger me? i'll have to stop him and then i'll seem like a prude. and it would be gross if i just let him.
should i just tell him when he's starting to do that that i cant tonight? and if he keeps asking why should i just tell him i'm on my period?
i know its natural and all of that but still i dont want to turn him off.
please help :(
Just be straightforward with him. Tell him before he comes over though because if you tell him after he could possibly feel like you weren't being completely honest with him. He won't be turned off, and if he ends up being turned off, then he's extremely immature. But, he should understand. Besides, all girls get their periods, just like all boys have nocturnal emissions. Just tell him.. nothing to be ashamed of.

None of those bands listed below by the person who answered first are unheard of because I have heard of most of those bands, and are friends with them on MySpace.
Here are some awesome bands besides those.
- Isles & Glaciers (though their music is hard to find because they're just starting to record & they haven't released demos though 3 songs leaked online)
- Emarosa.
- Bring Me The Horizon.
- Anarbor.
- The Maine.
- Hit The Lights.
- A Kidnap In Color. (I run their Los Angeles street team)
- The Sequence.
- The Cab.
- Pierce The Veil.
- Four Year Strong.
- Conditions.
- Valencia.
- The Morning Of.
- A Day To Remember.
- 100 Monkeys.
- The Sleeping.
- At The Drive In.
- Artist Vs. Poet.
- Remember Tomorrow.
- The Hoodies.
- Seric.
- Emmure.
- Saosin.
- Circa Survive.
- Anthony Green.
- Anberlin.
- We The Kings.
- Sing It Loud.
Those are some of the bands I'm into.. You might like them. I'm sorry I didn't list any Rap/R&B/Pop...I don't really listen to stuff like that so I wouldn't know what to put down. Hope you like what I suggested.
I got grounded from the tv and the computer and vidoe games and i dont have any cards. What can i do?
You can read a book, write, & get caught up on homework if you're behind.
What kinds of things do boys find attractive in a girl? What are some turn ons? Nothing dirty please!
To be completely honest with you, every guy is different & has a different turn on.
Some guys like a girl with nice legs, or a cute smile. Others like eyes. Or the way she dresses, or smells.
Sometimes guys don't even go for looks right off the bat. Some guys find a personality sexy. A sense of humor, an ability to hold a conversation (and not always about normal things). It all depends on the type of guy because they're all different & like different things.
ok.i havent gottin cramps 4 a while.they really hurt.i havent gottin them yet 4 while.wut can i do about it?does that mean i might get my period?
It can be. Sometimes cramps are just a sign of gas, but they can mean your period as well. Ask your mom when she got her first period (age-wise) so you can determine when you got yours. It's usually similar, but not always so don't expect it around the same time, but stay open to the possibility.
When you have cramps, you can put a heating pad on your stomach & lay down, or you can take some midol. Just take one or two though because you don't wanna take too much.
im 12.i just got some bras yestrday,n i liked dem.but wen i put dem on,dey kinda look big.is that normal?d bra does fit me well but u no.also is it okay 2 wear 2 or 3 bras?i havent had my period yet,but is it normal 2 wear 3 pads at a time?
You probably got a padded bra, or a bra a little bigger for your size (which isn't bad, you can grow into it some more).
If you haven't had your period yet, wearing 2-3 pads at a time, or wearing pads at all isn't really something I would call normal. Just wait for your period to come. If you're scared you'll get it at school, bring some beginner pads with you. They're pretty discreet (they're usually kinda small), so no worries about being embarassed. But lay off on the pads until you actually get your period. Same deal with tampons if you decide to wear them. Don't wear them when you're not menstrual.

What interesting thing could i write for the junior school newspaper?
Write about common issues among kids today. You can write about self-injury, drugs & alcohol, stuff like that.

I THINK this is tom cruise...am I right?
Anyway, what movie is this from?
Sadly, that is Tom Cruise. The worst actor alive.
My eating disorder just gets worst and worst! First I wasn't eating anything and I was starving myself. Now I have either a day where I starve myself or a day when I eat everything in sight. Its the most terrible thing ever! But the thing is, that I forgot how to eat normal. Its like today I was gonna be good and then its actually my birthday so they brought cake and I'm not just not gonna eat my birthday cake.... But like my intestines make all this weird noise and they feel like their gonna pop! HELP! I want to learn how to live normally again because for this past year, my life has been only about being thin. It was like its my only priority... someone please help me!
In order to cure yourself (never fully, but getting there) you need to see a therapist. Trying to do that on your own is practically impossible because your mindset is all fucked up, and you need the insight of a professional.
So it's been48 hours after I stupidly had unprotected sex. He pulled out before but I'm not sure that nothing got inside of me.I would simply take the morning after pill but I am on penicillin and I have heard it will cancel out the pill.what should I do???? Please please help.
None of us here are doctors. It's best you see one now because once it's been 72 hours since the sex, the morning after pill isn't effective.
And pulling out doesn't work. Use a condom.
whats some really great music thats like hip-hop, techno, dance, house,... maybe rock or something like that that has a good beat to dance to and gets you all pumped up and keeps you moving?
thanks :)
You should listen to:
Forever The Sickest Kids
All Time Low
Lady Gaga (not rock, but she's fun to dance to)
Hellogoodbye
Paramore
The Rocket Summer
Metro Station
Boys Like Girls
Cute Is What We Aim For
This Providence
Chromeo
Shwayze
Katy Perry
Stuff like that. :)
Two and a half years ago I met a guy who became my best friend, or so i thought. We ended up liking eachother and went out for 2 years. He was always sad before we went out and i always felt bad and tried everything to help him. He would lie to me about everything and make up situations he was in. After 6 months he payed no attention to me and i cheated on him ever since he has been making me feel horrible. He would emotionaly abuse me then he started to hit me a lot. I was in an abusive relationship but he only started to be mean to me when his dad wentto jails and he went through a lot. I was there for him through everything but he was never there for me. Everyone told me he loves me so much but he would try making me jealous i was in a very unhealthy relationship. he watched his brother hit me annd did nothing the neighbors called the cops i havnt talked to him since i have a restraining order on him then he got one on me. His family didnt care that they hit me,they are trying to press charges on me they made up a story that i hit his mom when i ever did. After all that i have dreams about him every night I miss him so much and wish we could work everything out even though we never worked anything out. I wish he would change and get away from his horrible family I wish we could be together without the abuse and his family. We have been going to court a lot against eachother im only 18 and he was my first and only love i miss him and dont knopw what to do im still pressing charges because they need to learn they cant get away with everything but i want him to change
You're 18? Aren't you a little old to know this game? You want an answer? Yes, you're wrong for still loving him. Any "man" who puts his hands on a woman (or abuses her in any other way) is no man at all, and he's a child. He knows NOTHING about love, care, or people. If he had a lot on his plate emotionally, he should've stayed out of a relationship until he knew he would be okay & that he could deal. I don't care if he has AIDS, cancer, a brain tumor, or even a gimpy leg - there is NO reason for a man to touch a woman in any negative way.
To be honest even more so, the chances of him changing are slim. Until he gets the help he needs, and sees what he's done, and can accept that he isn't perfect & can see his faults, he'll stay the same. He needs counselling, tons of jail time & A LOT of time to grow up. And I don't see that happening from the things you've said. Don't hold your breath, sweetie. Time to move on. You deserve better & don't let any loser put his hands on you or tell you any different.

me and my friend marina want to do something this weekend on Saturday. She offered to go to these batting cages, but then we changed our mind. We don't want to go to the movies or mall because we always do that. And we dont have alot of money to go anywhere big. We're not one of those people that stay home either. Do you have any ideas what we could do or go? Any suggestions would help. Thanks
If you like rock music, see if there any shows playing. Local shows are usually pretty cheap, but it's a little more pricy if it's a known band. You could also go to a buffet restaurant. Lunch with friends is always fun.
really, anybody. I just need someone who is willing to listen to me "complain" about school and people and work and life in general. I understand if you don't, but I feel like I can't talk to my friends about it because they've heard it all already. I can't keep holding it all inside, because I'm going to blow a fuse soon, and I'm afraid I'm going to lose friends in the process. I need to get stuff off my chest, so if anyone is willing to listen (more like read, whatever) I will be forever grateful.

Of course.
Leave me your email, and i'll get to you. :)
Anyone live out there?
My boyfriend and I plan on moving out there right after we graduate high school but there's a lot of things i'd like to know about it!
First he knows about some program where if you've lived out there for 6 months commuity college is paid for by the government. Tell me more?
Will it be hard for me to find an office job out there?
What's the driving like? Traffic?
Will I be able to find affordable clothes and stuff?
We're probably moving to the Met Lofts. Know anything about them or that area?
Are there things like food stamps and wellfare checks?
ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN TELL ME! I'D LIKE TO HEAR EVERYTHING.
Lucky for you, my boyfriend's from LA and he's sitting right next to me.
He said that is true, and that the fee will wave your tuition for classes, but that doesn't include books, room&board or meal plans. You have a good chance of learning more if you talk to someone in the Financial Aid Office at the college.
There's lots of office jobs, but while that may be, there's also a lot of people looking too. You have a good chance, but remember, you're competing with millions of other people so you have to look hard. You can always find jobs on www.craigslist.com as well, so keep that option open.
Traffic is usually pretty crazy at times, but like any other city, it'll have it's days with traffic at a minimum. You're pretty well off planning ahead before you go for a drive, and knowing what places to avoid at what times.
Of course. LA has discount stores too. Aside from department stores & mall stores, there are the good ones (thrift stores) that you can hit up & find really good clothes at good deals.
My boyfriend sadly doesn't know anything about that area, but he said it sounds like it may be downtown. You might wanna google it and see what that tells you. Google is always your friend. Here, I'll help!
Yeah. Just because Los Angeles is home to Hollywood & the Dodgers doesn't mean they're any different from other places. It's a city, you know. There's lots of those scattered throughout the US.
Besides that, take an adventure around LA. There's a lot of great little cities that inhabit it, and almost everything is about half an hour (or less) away. I guess that's pretty much it. If you have any more questions, inbox me and I'll ask my boyfriend & get back to you. If I don't respond immeadiately, it's because I lack internet, but I will get back. :]
