There's lots of office jobs, but while that may be, there's also a lot of people looking too. You have a good chance, but remember, you're competing with millions of other people so you have to look hard. You can always find jobs on www.craigslist.com as well, so keep that option open.
Traffic is usually pretty crazy at times, but like any other city, it'll have it's days with traffic at a minimum. You're pretty well off planning ahead before you go for a drive, and knowing what places to avoid at what times.
Of course. LA has discount stores too. Aside from department stores & mall stores, there are the good ones (thrift stores) that you can hit up & find really good clothes at good deals.
My boyfriend sadly doesn't know anything about that area, but he said it sounds like it may be downtown. You might wanna google it and see what that tells you. Google is always your friend. Here, I'll help!
Yeah. Just because Los Angeles is home to Hollywood & the Dodgers doesn't mean they're any different from other places. It's a city, you know. There's lots of those scattered throughout the US.
Besides that, take an adventure around LA. There's a lot of great little cities that inhabit it, and almost everything is about half an hour (or less) away. I guess that's pretty much it.
