Hey! My name is Ashlea. I've been a member on here for a few years. I'm 24 years old and have a little baby boy. I'm pretty outgoing and I love to joke around. I have a very strong sense of humor and I love making people laugh. I don't care too much about what other people think about me because in the end, you're all you got. Nothing else matters but your true opinion of yourself. I think everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I never look down on anyone nor do I judge people for their decisions or lifestyles.


I love to listen to music. That's probably the only reason I like driving, otherwise, It'd be boring as hell. I love spending time with my son. He is by far the best thing that's ever happened to me. He is my best friend and when I'm with him, nothing else matters. The whole world could pass me by, and as long as I have him, it doesn't matter one bit. He's the only one who can truly make me smile. I am truly happy because of him. I love spending money when I have it, and sometimes, that can be a bad habit. I love to write poems, and am told I am very good at it, but only when I'm upset or bothered by something. Lately, though, I have not written any. I also enjoy writing. I seem to have a way with words and I love how a paper sounds after I write it. It makes me sound more intelligent.(lol) I also like to watch movies, mostly comedy and drama...I hate action movies and boy-ish movies. Horror movies give me nightmares(yes, even at this age.) ...I like to go on the computer alot and I love meeting new people, so feel free to get in touch with me!


I hate people who think they are better than you, and people who are snobby or stuck-up. Having that attitude will never get you anywhere in life, and I look at it as a sign of immaturity. I like to be around people that within the first 5 minutes of talking to them you know that you will already feel comfortable with them because they are that down to earth. I can't stand people who criticize other people and their lives. Understand that you, as well, have things about your life that you do not like...so you wouldn't like it very much if people talked about you in a bad way, would you? We're all human, we all make mistakes and run into bad situations. Things happen that we can't control. These are all parts of life though and can be handled with the help of others, which is why negative criticism is not needed.

I believe that what you can't control, you have to let go. Too often we hang onto things when we have no control or power over its outcome, so in the end, life will take its course and we have to just go with it.


I guess some people would say I can be selfish at times, although I choose not to believe that(lol), and if things don't go my way, i WILL be upset. But, I also learn to get over it and move on. I love giving advice. Everyone I know say that's the one thing they love about me the most...I never judge anyone on any of their problems and I truly do enjoy helping people with their problems in any way I can. I will go to any extent I have to in order to help someone else. I have a habit of putting other people's needs ahead of my own. I have been giving people advice and helping people so much with their problems that I don't even get that GREAT feeling anymore from helping people. It's just in my nature and I am happy to just be able to be of some sort of help to anyone: stanger or friend.

This school year, I've noticed that nearly all my friends are boys. I've never really got on with boys before but nowadays I'm always hanging out with them. Is there something wrong with that? I do have friends who are female but I find I relate to boys better.

lol hunny nooooo theres NOTHING wrong with you!! if theres something wrong with you, then there must be something wrong with me, too because I get along with guys soo much better than with girls. As you get older, you'll begin to see these sort of things. Almost all of my friends get along with the opposite sex better than with the same sex. Theres nothing wrong with that...you're getting older, that's all!! I get along with guys so much better than I ever could with girls. I've been dating a guy for 3 years, and I just happen to get along with guys better. Half the world does.

My neighbor not really a friend, but not an enemy, an aquantaince!! *Dev* has been cutting herself...and she always writes these horrid, absolutely, horrid, gruesome, poems about killing herself!! It really scares me because I've seen her cuts! And I have told her to get help, but she won't listen. Today at school she said she was gunna cut herself deep and not stop the bleeding so she can bleed to DEATH!! Or take a bottle of pills, or some other self-mutalating way to kill herself!! I'm really scared I've known her since I was in diapers..is there anyway I can stop her before it's too late?? Sorry about length!!

self harm is a very serious matter that should definately be handled immediately. even if you feel you are betraying your friend if you tell someone, you would really be betraying her if you didn't. she needs your help more now than ever, even if she doesn't say. you need to tell someone immediately before it gets worse. the best thing you can do right now is be there for her, and don't let it go on one more day without getting help. some matters are just too big for friends to handle themselves. she will thank you later. tell anybody: your parents, hers, anyone that can help. heres a website you can go to get more information:

first and foremost, i would never recommend meeting someone off the internet. it's a very dangerous thing to do. imagine meeting a guy thinking you were madly in love with him....and then talking to him online for oh, lets say....7 months. and then the day you meet, you find out hes some ax murderer or something. i mean, you have to think about things like this. but enough about that, the next thing is that there is really no way to chase guys or "find" them. let them come to you. or, if you happen to be somewhere, anywhere, and you see a cutie, go up and introduce yourself to him....and, dont go out for the sole purpose of meeting a guy ..... go out, and then IF you happen to see a guy that you would wanna get to know better, then go talk to him. otherwise, don't go out JUST to find a guy. have fun!! good luck!!!

i need a job and ive passed out flyers for babysitting but forget that... im 14 do u think theres a job out there for my age

i was in the exact same position as you. right now, im 17 years old and i am a cashier for the time being. But, at 14, there isn't really any jobs that you can get due to your age. I know how you feel and it sucks, so maybe there are a few jobs that will hire 14 year olds. Look through the newspaper or stop in at stores and ask them what their age limit is for employees.

If you cant find anything..then ask your parents or neighbors if you can work for money for them .. or if not, just keep trying the babysitting job....

he expects you to say things in your interest such as.. "im __ years old, and i go to ___ ___ school, and i heard about this job and thought it sounded like a good opportunity .

things lyk that are good ^ .. they dont expect you to tell them yur whole life story .. just enough to make them interested in you.

well im not sure if i can say i like him.. but i have feelings.
