Life Or Death!!
Hey Hunz! This is strawberriilova92!!
My neighbor not really a friend, but not an enemy, an aquantaince!! *Dev* has been cutting herself...and she always writes these horrid, absolutely, horrid, gruesome, poems about killing herself!! It really scares me because I've seen her cuts! And I have told her to get help, but she won't listen. Today at school she said she was gunna cut herself deep and not stop the bleeding so she can bleed to DEATH!! Or take a bottle of pills, or some other self-mutalating way to kill herself!! I'm really scared I've known her since I was in diapers..is there anyway I can stop her before it's too late?? Sorry about length!!
PS--SHE HAS NEVER CUT HERSELF DEEPLY

Okay, find somebody YOU AND HER really trust, and talk to that person. I'm a cutter, and I've been talking to my second period teacher, and she's been a lot of help. YOU AND HER need to go to a councilor, and if she's really considering killing herself (I could never go that far) then you need to tell her parents. I mean, how would you feel if you knew about her cutting, you did nothing to help, and she ends up passing away. Horrible right? Talk to somebody you can trust, and if you don't think your friend can trust that person, then go with your friend to talk to somebody she can trust (or if she wants to go alone, wait outside the door for her... unless you have to go to class.) But make sure she talks at least once.

self harm is a very serious matter that should definately be handled immediately. even if you feel you are betraying your friend if you tell someone, you would really be betraying her if you didn't. she needs your help more now than ever, even if she doesn't say. you need to tell someone immediately before it gets worse. the best thing you can do right now is be there for her, and don't let it go on one more day without getting help. some matters are just too big for friends to handle themselves. she will thank you later. tell anybody: your parents, hers, anyone that can help. heres a website you can go to get more information:

Well i know how she feels i cut too. what you can do is tell her if she needs to talk to anyone you are there for her. If she is like me she will not want to talk to some one who she does not know. That is where you come in.

Please talk to her and let her know that you care about her and that you are worried about her. Then, tell your parents, her parent, a school couselor, a trusted teacher. Tell some adult so that something can be done to help your neighbor. She might be angry with you for it, but if it saves her life it should be worth it to you (and her). Please do talk to someone that can help her, and soon.

Well if she writes those poems she is expressing herself.Talk to her and ask he how all that started happening why is she doing that to herself.where it all began yu know wut i mean.try to tell her how much you care about her and dont want to see her hurt and stuff like that let her know how you feel.and tell an adult your mom her mom .i hope i helped good luck!

what you need to do is call a teen help line or tell her to call a teen hotline and try to sit down and talk to her about it and try to find out why she wants to kill herself and try to help her

you cant really stop her..shes gunna do what she wants to do...all you can do is be there for her! let her kno she has a friend in you, but dont tell her to stop because she'll just rebel and want to do it more! just listen to what she has to say and try 2 reason with her. take her somewhere really fun so she forgets about her problems and stuff!! i've dealt with alot of friends who cut so i really know what im talking about. if you need anything else feel free to IM me!

ok I know you wrote to some one else but ....... ne way the easiest way is to talk to her about other things then sloly bring it up find her problem and find a way to get rid of it or at least not make it hurt so much it's ok to cry when doing this if she still won't listen call her parents or talk to a councilor and if you don't feel confortable you can always tell them not to mention your name show her you care and get some more people to help you.
