I love reading. But, the problem is that I don't know what to read next. hah.

So, has anyone read a really good book lately?

I'm 16/f. I like romance, action, and thrillers. But, i read alot of random books too. So if you have a book that you like, please refer.

While I'm not a guy myself, I don't think they think about it EVERY 7 seconds.

why do a lot guys deal with their problems by partying, sleeping with lots of girls and doing drugs?

You should have asked why do SOME guys choose to do these things. I know a lot of guys who DON'T use parties, sex, or drugs to deal with their problems.


And Matt is right, girls do it to. Girls are just as guilty of being destructive to themselves as guys are.


WHY theses people choose to do it? Who knows? I'd think it's different for different people.

What is this movie about? I thought it was a love story. But I'm not sure. Can anyone just give me like what it is mainly about like a summery

It's spelled "summary" not "summery".


And it IS a love story. The only thing that isn't typical, is the whole movie doesn't revolve around the 2 characters falling in love.
It's also a tribute to The Beatles and all their music. This being said, a lot of other events take place throughout the course of the movie, it's not JUST a love story.

If you watched the movie, it would be much easier to understand.

my dad works with a younger guy about 25 or 26. i'll call him brent. so brent some how got my number and started texting me. i thought he was just trying to get on good terms with me so my dad wouldn't dislike him or anything. well now it's got to the point where he is saying i turn him on and how sexy he thinks i am. it's freaking me out a little bit. i usually just write back haha thanks or something like that. but here's the thing, he's engaged! and i have a boyfriend! should i stop all contact with him? i don't want to be disrespectful to his fiance or to my boyfriend. is this wrong being that my dad is his boss??

I would tell your dad about it. Say that it started out innocently enough, just wanting to be on good terms with his co worker, and then he started to make you feel uncomfortable.


Along with telling your dad, I would stop contacting him. He IS being disrespectful to his FIANCE, who he's going to MARRY. It isn't as bad on your part, though, if you are not texting things like that back to him, which I'm assuming you are not.


I think it's much worse on his part, if he's in a committed relationship (not saying that you are not, I'm just trying to prove my point).

okay so i have a boyfriend who really loves me and i was in love with him but im more in love with his personality than looks. but i know you shouldn't go by looks in a relationship but it helps. we've been going out for 6 months and i recently became friends with this guy i like knew about before i was going out with my boyfriend and hes extremely attractive. he even likes me and ive hung out with him a few times and we have a lot of fun. i know ive been going out with my boyfriend and i would never cheat on him because im not like that but i feel like i want to be able to like flirt with people and explore, but i feel like im not able to with a boyfriend. Like sometimes i love having a boyfriend and sometimes i feel like i wish i didn't have one. but my boyfriend is in love with me and i don't want to break his heart. he got mad at me for hanging out with this other really hot guy who likes me, but i feel like i should be able to hang out with whoever i want. i dont know what i should say to my boyfriend or what i should do. this is a tough situation because i know my boyfriend will be there for me but this hot guy i kind of like but i don't know if he just wants to just get with me, be friends or anything more or less. this other guy seems really nice and likes me and im attracted to him. i dont know what to do, please help me.

You've got to follow your heart. I know, it sounds kind of cheesy, but it's really true.


If you want to be with this other guy, then go for it. Don't force yourself to stay in a relationship that you don't want to be in. You'll only end up hurting your boyfriend MORE AND hurting yourself in the process.


So sit down and think about it. Weigh the positives and the megatives of staying with your boyfriend, and the positives and negatives of going for it with this new guy.

I do!! I do have it!! Can you tell me about how to make a music/picture video

Hey! I'm glad you have it! It's a bit hard to explain, but I'll try my best.


First of all, you need to save the all of pictures you'll be using to the same file. So save them all under a folder titled" Graduation" or something you'll be able to find easily.
After doing this, on the left-hand side, there's a menu type thing. Select "import pictures" and put all of your pictures in there.


Then, you drag them down to the timeline at the very bottom of the screen. Put them under "Video". You can also reorder them in the time line by simply clicking & dragging, if needed.


After you have them in the order you want them in, you'll notice that the time between each picture will be pretty long. Select a picture (Obviously, starting with the first one s your best bet) and scroll over it until 2 red arrow appear next to it. When the 2 arrow (they'll be side by side) appear, click the picture and drag it to the left to make it shorter and the right to make it longer. This is kind of time consuming, but it has to be done unless you want a really crappy movie quality.

TIP: After you "trim" all the picture times, DON'T MESS WITH THEM (like dragging them) You'll screw up the entire thing.


Next, you'll need to add the music. It needs to be a certain format, so I'd suggest finding it on Myspace and downloading it. Songs on Myspace are the only ones that have worked for me, because they're in that format.

Once you have the song, drag it down to the" Audio/Music" section of the timeline. Now you've got your song and the start of a movie!


I'm sure you'll want to add affect to the pictures, so to do this, click Tools -"Video Affects". A list will pop up with a bunch of cool affects. To use them, drag it to the left side (or beginning I guess) of the picture you want it to affect. That didn't sound good, so here's an example (I even got fancy and added a picture!)
Say I'm using the "Fade Out" affect. The picture shows where I would drag it to.

After you've got all your picture affects, you're almost done! This next step is optional, though. It's adding "Video Transitions", which are effects BETWEEN the clips. Click Tools-"Video Transitions". To use these, you do the same thing as you did for the "Video Affects".


There's really a lot to do with movie making, and you'll probably have to spend fair amount of time on this, but it'll be worth it in the end!
I really hope this helps, as I took a ton of time typing it up.

If you need more, help, on the screen in Movie Maker, there is a "Movie Making Tips" section as well, located on the left side right under the thing you clicked to import pictures.

Im 14/f and lately Ive been changing alot of things in my personal space. I just painted my room a very nice, prelude blue and i got a white comforter with blue/green and pink polka dots on it. The thing is I still want to do more with my room. Any small ideas that could help spice my room up a bit? Maybe decorating ideas, or crafts or something. I want it to kind of be like me.. here is a little about me:

I am a girl and my favourite color is blue. Im pretty outgoing but when im alone I like to relax and think alot. I like to read, write and listen to music. I also LOVE taking pictures with my friends. I like when things look fresh. I also play volleyball and Im a social person so I cant get too crowded cause I have alot of people coming over. Any ideas?

Bulletin boards are great! You can put anything on there, and it adds a really personal touch.
You can put the pictures you take on there, along with other things like ticket stubs, pictures your friends have drawn for you, birthday cards, etc.


Or, paint pictures frames.
Example: Decorate a normal frame with bones and paw prints an put a picture of your dog.


Something else you can do, which I just thought of and might do myself:
Take some of your favorite pictures, and use a computer photo editing program (or go to the local pharmacy or wherever you get your picture developed) to make the pictures black and white.
Then, put the pictures in simple black frames and hang them in a group on one of your walls.

ok so i litraly have over 70 or 80 scarves and i want to organize them in such a way that they look neat but are still visible for me to choose (i tend to scrumage and trash everything when i am looking for something :S) anyway so what is a good way to store them??

How about storage bins? Like the ones you can sit on a shelf and pull out when you need it.

Is there any kind of program/software that you can download for free that you can make a video of pictures (like a slideshow) but with music?

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker?

I believe it comes on most computers, and it's SO easy to use! Check your program list for it, and see if you have it on your computer.

so. In a resent post I said I was going to america, andd wanted to know about TNA, yaddayadda.
Anyways. my family has decieded to go on a family trip shopping in america buut, were not sure were to go. we were thinking of tuilap [sp?]. because it has a big outlet mall.
