Friend ID's?
I was wondering why people put their myspace friend id on their pictures...
why is this?

So people don't steal their pictures.
It's a PAIN when people take pictures of you and claim it to be them.

I'm 110% sure people do this so others don't steal their pictures. This always happened to a friend of mine.. Girls would steal her pictures and claim they were her on their myspaces, but if the profile ID in the photo and the profile ID in the address of the fakers' profile don't match, then you can tell that that person is a poser.

WEll this is mostly for like layout sites.
If a person makes a layout site a picture for their profile, they will put their friend id on it so people know who made it
So if people like the picture they can find the person who made its myspace

so that other people dont claim them as their own

Usually people put there friend id on there pictures because its kind of like the way of showing if your like a "myspace whore" and usually more people add you because they know that you have alot of friends when you do that. I have two myspace accounts and one of them my picture has my friend id. So hopefully that help theres really no legit reason for it though.
