My Bedroom
Im 14/f and lately Ive been changing alot of things in my personal space. I just painted my room a very nice, prelude blue and i got a white comforter with blue/green and pink polka dots on it. The thing is I still want to do more with my room. Any small ideas that could help spice my room up a bit? Maybe decorating ideas, or crafts or something. I want it to kind of be like me.. here is a little about me:
I am a girl and my favourite color is blue. Im pretty outgoing but when im alone I like to relax and think alot. I like to read, write and listen to music. I also LOVE taking pictures with my friends. I like when things look fresh. I also play volleyball and Im a social person so I cant get too crowded cause I have alot of people coming over. Any ideas?

Bulletin boards are great! You can put anything on there, and it adds a really personal touch.
You can put the pictures you take on there, along with other things like ticket stubs, pictures your friends have drawn for you, birthday cards, etc.
Or, paint pictures frames.
Example: Decorate a normal frame with bones and paw prints an put a picture of your dog.
Something else you can do, which I just thought of and might do myself:
Take some of your favorite pictures, and use a computer photo editing program (or go to the local pharmacy or wherever you get your picture developed) to make the pictures black and white.
Then, put the pictures in simple black frames and hang them in a group on one of your walls.

hey well i used to have the same problem with my room. heres what i did with my room. i love playing music so my room has a small piano and a guitar. and alot of pictures like the ocean and my favorite celebrities on it. i have alot of posters and its painted light purple. maybe that could give you a couple of ideas.
so basically im just saying ike if you like playing music you can get a keyboard or a guitar you can get them for cheap at ebay or craigslist.com. i also think you should put up posters and such. you also said yu like to write so maybe put up your writings like if you write poems you can get a cinstruction paper and decorate it and write down your porms or anything you liek to write.

maybe you can get a tack bourd to hang on your wall
with the outside of the bourd a type of blue that
would match your room ! Then put pictures of you and
your friends on them or whatever you like! My friend
when she was going to redecorate her room she had
thease blue butterflies that were very pretty maybe
put something like that on your wall if you like that stuff!

well i love animals.. so i put animals from old animal calenders all over. and i have a wall dedicated to me and my freidns and palces iv traveled so i dont have to dump out a bunch of photo albums. me and whoever can just sit on me bed and look at the old times. my old room used to have a theme liek the dallor store or a party store getting lays or madi gras beads. also they have little sponge stenclils say you like the moon and sun you coudl get some gold and silver paint and put it around your room like by the trim.. or everywhere... get a new retro energy saving light maybe if your looking for a clean new look... if your going to hang up things on your walls do little stuff like get rounded thumb pins. insted of the old flat ones or those weird.. other shaped ones. you could see if you have any blue or white.. or green christmas lights (i mixed the blue and white.. it looked so cool) and put them around the top of your walls. uhmmmm... thats all i can really think of.. i hope that helps or maybe inspires you to do something else. have fun
