I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

Yesterday, I went to this street festival where their was live music in Chicago. I was dancing and talking to this cute guy who looked 16-17. Later on we started grinding and just having fun. When I had to leave I kissed him and he gave me his number. We were texting and I decided to ask him his age. Turns out he's 21! So I lied and said I was 17 (I've been told I could pass for 17). He says he wants to see me again but I don't think that will happen since I was just in the city for the weekend. It was all in good fun but I feel kind of weird now.. I know we won't be like a thing and probably won't ever see each other again.

I know it's illegal since I'm a minor but what would you do if you were in my situation. I honestly though he was 16 or 17 but found out too late he was 21.

This is why you should always ask someone their age ahead of time - so that you avoid making stupid decisions like this.

Anyways, delete his number & don't contact him again. You don't live there anyways, and you won't see him again so it shouldn't be a big deal.

Be more careful next time though.

I use Tampax Pearl. They were the first ones I ever used, and I still use them to this day. They have a plastic applicator, and they're really comfortable. :)

They're a little pricey, but totally worth it.

You're not going to find a job. Nobody is going to hire a 13 year old. Have you not learned about child labor laws yet? You're a child and that's why nobody is going to employ you.

You need to sit them down and talk to them. They're not going to stop their behavior if you don't talk to them about it.

Tell them that you appreciate the fact that they care so much about you that they want to protect you from getting hurt, but sometimes their protection can be too much and that you feel like you can't breathe or do anything because they'll be there to look down on it.

Tell them that sometimes too much protection can keep you from making valuable mistakes and that it can keep you from learning things for yourself. It's nice to be protected and cared about, but if it's holding you back from doing the things you really want to do, then you need to speak up.

what is the nicest way to breakup with someone?

Since you guys cannot meet up somewhere and break up face to face, the next best thing would be over the phone.

Call him up and tell him that while this is very hard for you to do, it's necessary. Just say that you still care about him, but the distance is too much and that you think that you would both be better off as friends. If he doesn't want to be friends right now, that's fine with you, and that you guys can be friends when he's ready. Tell him you're sorry, and then hang up.

To be honest though, as much as you don't want to hurt him, chances are that he'll still be hurt even just a little. Breaking up is hard to do, and it definitely hurts. Usually the only time it doesn't hurt is when it's mutual.

BEWARE: this might be long.

OK. So i have posted so many questions on the same topic. But i haven't gotten any real good advice. All of my answers usually say "just go with what you think is right" or "its better to do it and say you did the to not and regret it later." so i hope you can give me better advice. like what i should specifically do.

So i have like this guy for a long time. Ive known him since elementary school and he lives two houses away from me. I think I'm IN LOVE with him. now don't say "i think your too young to be IN LOVE" or "you need to wait and see if these feelings leave. if they don't then....." because I've heard it all before. I know for a fact that I'm IN LOVE with him. so i know that he likes me because he asked me out at the beginning of 7th grade. I said no because my mom doesn't approve of neighbors dating. because if we ever break up then it'll be awkward because i see him all over the place. but i like him so much that i am willing to hide it from my mom. But another reason why i know that he likes me is because, not too long ago, we were walking home together and he touched my ass. on purpose. so if that's not flirting than i don't know what flirting is. lol. so i have no idea what to do. do i ask him out myself or just wait for him to ask me out? please help me. and im sorry that this was so long. thank you in advance.

If you want to date your neighbor, you need to ask your mother. Sneaking around her back will get you into trouble, and unless you want to be punished, you need to come forth and tell her. Give her reasons why this might be good for you. Don't complain, whine, yell, etc because if you do, your argument won't be heard & you'll be shut down. If you can't be mature about it, you won't have a good chance of getting what you want.

Aside from that, if you want to ask him out, you can. He may like you, but may not ask you want just because you want him to. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Also, boys touching your butt outside of a relationship isn't flirting, it's sexual harassment. It's not really something you should brag about or be proud of.

I poop a lot but I'm really skinny. I mean, I go poop like 4 times a day on most days. It never has bothered me but I eat really bad stuff like fried foods and lots of sugary sweets. My friend wants to know how I stay so skinny but I don't know why I am so skinny. Does pooping make you skinnier? Because I'm wondering if maybe that is my "trick" to staying slim?

It could be the fact that you poop a lot, but you could also have a quick metabolism.

While I can see why he would want to, I don't think you should. It sounds horribly uncomfortable, nerve-wracking and you could probably get in a bit of trouble if you were caught.

If you have to ask about whether or not you should let him, chances are you don't want him to.

My advice for her is that they break up.

Your friend is a little bit too young to be dating, and her boyfriend is too old to be a dating a girl that age. He should be dating 14-15 year old girls...not 12 year olds.

My husband has 3 children from his previous marriage and has full-custody. We've had custody of them for 3 years now in Texas. Their mother lives in California. She has been unemployed since she moved out there 5 years ago. She makes no efforts to be a "real" part of the kids' lives. She hasn't come to visit, her cell is continuously shut off so calls are limited (once a week or every two weeks). And the children are currently 11, 8, and 6.

The other day the 8 year old asked if I knew why she didn't correct someone when they call me her mom. She then told me she didn't want them to know I was her step-mom. I asked her if she believed it was a bad thing and she told me no, she thinks I am a mom. I told her it was fine if she does that in front of people. She took it the wrong way and now wants desperately to call me mom 24/7.

My question is if both myself and the child are comfortable with mom is it alright for her to call me that? Her real mom's jealousy is not an issue because her presence is absent. Most people I ask tell me not to encourage her but she is the one asking not me.

In a sense you are her mother. Her mom isn't around to take care of her or do things for her. You are!

Her mother is making no effort to really be apart of her daughters life, so she sees you as that figure. You should be flattered! I don't think it's wrong. She loves you, embrace it. :)

i'm one of those people who looks SO much better tan. like i should have been born with this skin color ha. is there anyway i can keep it? like without having to put on self tanner and stuff

Sadly there is no way to keep yourself tan unless you were born that way.

I would say to keep tanning, but you would eventually develop a skin condition. Just do a spray on tan or use the lotion that bronzes you.

Nobody here is going to tell you how to kill yourself. In fact, we're going to do the opposite.

I really think you should call 911. Just tell the operator that you are having suicidal thoughts and they will send someone to you. Chances are you'll be taken to a hospital for an evaluation and they'll keep you there for a while if they deem you unsafe to be in the public or to be alone.

They will give you the help you need. Trust me, I used to feel the way you did, and I kept going even when I didn't want to. My life eventually got better. Everyone has their ups & downs but you need to stick around to really see things through. I promise things will get better for you.

Hey everyone. My boyfriend and I have been together for practically 3 years. And he watches porn. Now, I feel horrible whenever I find out he's been watching it. I have low self esteem and feel that when he watches it it's because I'm not pretty enough or whatever. I've told him how his watching porn takes its toll on me, and he promises to stop, which he always ends up breaking that promise :/

You definitely shouldn't dump him. Millions of people watch porn and everyone masturbates. It's healthy, and part of life. To leave someone over something so natural would be stupid.

You can't even ask him to stop looking at it either. He is an adult and it's his decision. If he wants to watch porn, he will. He's watched it before you came along, and he'll watch it long after you're gone.

I suggest you come to terms with it. He's human. Watching porn has nothing to do with you. Don't leave him over something as trivial as this.
