my mom lets me sleep over a girls house if theres boys there but i cant sleep at a guys house with girls there. its a longer story than that but i dont have time so any ideas why or how i can convince her.

Am am 13 years old and going into eigth grade...all of my other freinds have their periods and i just want mine already..even though i heard how much it sucks....im pretty flat-chested(dont get me wrong i have SOMETHING just not enought to fill out more than an A cup~~ ive read some replys to the other questions and i do have discharge already...ive have it for like 9 months now... i just still dont want to be the size i am while im going into high school...could some one just tell me how long it took them to get their period after they showed some of the signs that meant you were going to get it soon?...

I was the exact same way.... the last one to get it, always waiting for it and hoping it would. it came when i was least expecting it so just be happy that it's not happening yet. there's really no "sighs" or proven ways to predict it since everyone is different. I got mine the summer after eighth grade... yes, i felt left out in the meantime but when i tell people they are always like "OMG NO FAIR I HATE YOU" so really, consider yourself lucky. it will come, i promise.

Hi I'm 27 weeks pregnant with a girl. Her first name is going to be Riley but I need help coming up with a middle name. There are so many names that go good with it but me and my boyfriend can't seem to agree on any. Any suggestions? Please no stupid answers.

I'm 15, going to be a sophmore in high school. I'm already engaged to an 18 year old man who's in the army right now. We planned on getting married when I was 17, the beginning of my senior year. If my parent's don't sign me over however we're going to elope on my 18th birthday. I'm going to move to Colorado and attend college there and live with him. He's also going to pay for me to go to college. My question I guess is basically just looking for an opinion on if you guys think this is an ok thing to do. I know I love him and I know I'm young but this is what I want. Everyone keeps telling me I'm stupid though.

If you're 18 when you elope... why don't you just get married with your family around you... you'd be of age then anyway.
15 is too young to be planning your marriage. you're just beginning high school... finishing freshman year isn't a milestone. it's nice to dream about and plan but why get married so young? if you married at 17, you wouldn't be old enough to even drink at your wedding. you have your whole life ahead of you to plan your dream wedding and have everyone support it. Go to college... meet more people and find yourself. most people don't know who they really are until their 20s or 30s. there's so much more you have to experience before you're supposed to get married. It's a nice fantasy...but i don't think it's such a good idea. that's just my opinion... i don't know your backround to see if this is actually a good idea for your specific case or anything but i wouldn't advise it.

I'm seventeen, a girl, a senior in high school. The easiest way to describe me is socially deficient... I have only a few friends (but close, long-time friends, nonetheless), never-been-kissed, and never had a boyfriend. I feel ridiculous; everyone else around me is dating and stuff, but not me. I just feel nervous/awkward around people I don't know really well, ESPECIALLY boys. And I tend to be a terrible conversationalist.

Anyway, there's one guy I like, and I think he's interested in me, but I'm not sure what to do about it, what to say if he DOES ask me out, or what I would do if we actually do start going out. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I don't know anything about boyfriend-girlfriend relationships... I've just been so focused on schoolwork and getting my 4.0 that I never made time for being social.

Anyway, I have a ton of questions (and I'm so sorry for loading them all on you guys)...

How much time should be spent with a boyfriend? Do I have to walk with him to classes, hang out after school, hang out during all my free time? This is my biggest question, and my biggest concern.

I'm slightly worried about the guy I like's reputation... I asked my sister, who asked her best friend, who says that he apparently likes to go after girls who are ugly and easy. But he seems so nice and is such a funny guy, I can't really believe that. What to do?

Any conversation ideas? I'm never sure what to talk about with him. We have a couple classes together, so usually we just talk about that, but it's boring as heck.

Last, how can I learn to relax? I feel like I'm never able to be myself around guys, I always shell up and become all polite and quiet. That's not how I am at all, at least not with my friends and family.

well i'll do the best I can from past experiences:
-don't spend too much time with him. a lot of people feel the need to spend every waking moment together but it doesn't make their relationship any better. agree to give each other free time with your friends and hang out after school on certain days.
-if you wanna see what he's really after, say yes on a trial basis kinda of thing. [dont't tell him that obviously] but just kinda test him a little.. and don't move too fast.
-no conversation ideas... if he likes you, he'll talk to you so don't worry too much about it.
-relax... don't think about impressing him. he should like you for who you are.

I'm not a morning person at all buttt what i do it:
-have my mom wake me up & turn on all the lights
- have her make me get up to go to the bathroom to pee and wash my face.
- turn on my music after i get back in the room [and pick something upbeat and loud]
-eat breakfast

Im going out with a boy named Mike (hes my first bf), and hes a couple months younger than me (he kinda acts younger, b/c of his younger siblings). and we've been going out for 10 months, we started going out on October 25, 2006. and anyway we've only held hands once or twice, like when we were at a school dance, and we hug sometimes after school, and everyonce and a while we kiss (only a little peck on the lips... n2m) well i dont have enough courage to go up to him and hold his hand, or hug him, or kiss him. I love him, but i dont have to courage to show him! and dont tell me to tell him i want to, cuz i cant do that either....

well while on the phone last night, he said we should hold hands more. but idk if hes going to go up to me and hold my hand, or what!?!?

I'm very proud of you and Mike & I think more teenagers should take after this "taking it slow and not too far" approach. thank you for restoring hope in this generation.
anyway, i know it can be frustrating but since he did bring it up, i think he will start holding your hand more. get to know him more and get more comfortable so you can talk about these things. surprise him sometime and hold his hand first. don't be all over him all the time but what you don't do/talk about now, will be something you will regret not doing in the future... you'll think "ugghh i could have done that! why was i so shy!" enjoy your relationship. he obviously likes you a lot so don't be afraid to show that you do too. if you need anything else, let me know. i've been there before.

I sweat a lot while working out so maybe it'll wash out the medicine or clog it more form sweat? But I'm thinking, if i put on my medicine b4 i work out.. I'd have the medicine on my face longer so it'll heal more pimples.

depends if it's a night thing or morning thing. if it's at night, work out, take a shoer then put it on. if it's in the morning, work out, take a shower [or wash your face] then put it on. tell me what you're routine is and i'll help you out.

Dove soap is amazing. My dad & I have sensative skin and it works for us. choose the one that isn't scented or the one for sensative skin.

i have a very red face so i NEED to wear foundation ivwe tried cover girl, revlon, and maybeleen.the problem is i sweat like crazy, so is there ne sweat or waterproof foundation that might work for me??

there are lotions to calm redness, by the way.
as for foundation... why not try a tinted moisterizer? i recently got the neutragena one and it works great.
you could try bare minerals too.. i've heard that works too.

I feel stupid for askign thsi but im 13 and just got my first acne treatment from a doctor and i'm wondering, how do you put the cream on?

Do you like rub it in or just dab it on?

usually you don't need a lot (a pea sized amount works with most) then put it on all of your face [you can dab it on so you don't use too much on one area] and rub it in.

Whenever i shave down there, I always dont get all of the hair. it gets all prickley and it leaves red spots. I use shave gel... but no lotion afterwards. But about the hair left over thing, whats wrong??

alright so when you shave always go towards your feet. then, save to the sides but don't go up towards your face...more like diagonals downward. that will get most of if but not all. using conditioner works too. after, put on hydrocortisone cream [anti-itch]. ta-da!

Ok well when i wear my medication, my face burns!

it burns so much that i wanan cry right now but i dunno..maybe it's supposed to burn? maybe its burning cuz it's killing the pimples?

don't put it on right after you wash your face..
