I'm not a morning person at all. I have a hard time waking up & actually sleep in sometimes.

I usually stock up on energy drinks like RockStar & Red Bull. If I haven't done that, I get 5 bucks from my dad & head over to Starbucks & get something there.

Starbucks & energy drinks really helped a lot. Showers help too, but if you're not interested in showering in the morning, then try Starbucks.

I'm naturally a morning person.
Haha, but I've made myself a night person over the past 2 years?

XD But anywhos. Wake up an hour earlier than you need to and run a mile or two. Seriously, just run. Then take a fairly cold shower. And indulge yourself with tea or coffee. Well, I vote for tea. But if you dislike tea, there's always coffee.

Oh, listening to fast tempoed music helps me a lot =) Or listening to y101 helps me. Well, whatever the station is for rock music.

Hmm, if all else fails, hire a little 4 year old to come jump on you. That's how my friend got me to wake up at her house...well, it was her little sister...who weighed a lot. I had lots of bruises. So, maybe get a light 4 year old? =P

Solemnstar answered Thursday August 30 2007, 9:46 pm:
Most people Who wake up with Difficulty In the Morning I find are waking Up at the wrong time. I wake up at 7 Normally. I am groggy tire,d and not awake until about 9. But if I get up at 5:30-6 Am. I am fine, Not drousy at all. This is because People's sleep works in 2 hour cycles. when you wake up tired, you are entering a cycle, and so want to sleep more. when you wake up leaving a cycle, you are refreshed.
I would reccomend changing the time you wake up. it also (assuming you decide to wake up earlier) gives you much more time to prepare for the day.

I used to wake up at 5:30 when school started at 7:30. I know it seems stupid like why the hell would I wake up earlier to become less tired, but trust me, it works. You're not rushing around as much and you have time to relax before you leave. Also, eat. It gives you so much more energy.

I'm not a morning person at all buttt what i do it:
-have my mom wake me up & turn on all the lights
- have her make me get up to go to the bathroom to pee and wash my face.
- turn on my music after i get back in the room [and pick something upbeat and loud]
-eat breakfast
works for me. <3

When you wake up immediately open your blinds or drapes. The sun helps you wake up.

If the problem is actually getting out of bed, put your alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get up and shut it off. Or If it`s just that you`re so tired, maybe you could listen to music really loud, and just dance! :]

Cux answered Thursday August 30 2007, 5:33 pm:
Have some coffee- caffeine will wake you up pretty quickly. If you don't want coffee- maybe drink a pop. Make sure it isn't Sprite or Root Beer- those are caffeine-free =D.

Eat breakfast- this helps you stay awake and focused at school. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day- and skipping this meal isn't the best thing to do.

That's all I can think of other than to take a shower [which you said not to say].

Good luck!
