when will i get my period already?!?
Am am 13 years old and going into eigth grade...all of my other freinds have their periods and i just want mine already..even though i heard how much it sucks....im pretty flat-chested(dont get me wrong i have SOMETHING just not enought to fill out more than an A cup~~ ive read some replys to the other questions and i do have discharge already...ive have it for like 9 months now... i just still dont want to be the size i am while im going into high school...could some one just tell me how long it took them to get their period after they showed some of the signs that meant you were going to get it soon?...
i know i sound pathectic but i REALLY could use some help<33

Well im fourteen and i just started a few months ago
in a way i knew that i'd happen..your discharge gets a LOT heavier before it happens and then suddenly it stopped for one day and then it came - you'll be able to tell...
all my friends started before me but i tell you it is a heck of a lot better when you dont have it
with all the pains and uncomfortablness
and im flat chested too but i don't care!

Well I can't tell you when you're going to get your period because it is different with everybody. I can tell you that it tool me 3 years to get mine from when i first got discharge but it took my friens shorter times. But look on the bright side...most late bloomers get bigger boobs lol! Dont stress it seriously it will happen soon!

i got boobs before i actually fully got my period, and i didnt get my period until the end of eigth grade, actually i got it 1 week before my 14th birthday, i was still 13. i still know some girls who dont have their period actually & im going into 10th grade, it really depends on your diet, i think. but everyone's different!

i got it the summer after 7th grade and bak then i was pretty big and it came a bit late cause if your big it should come earlier i freaked out but then one morning (when i least expected it )

I was the exact same way.... the last one to get it, always waiting for it and hoping it would. it came when i was least expecting it so just be happy that it's not happening yet. there's really no "sighs" or proven ways to predict it since everyone is different. I got mine the summer after eighth grade... yes, i felt left out in the meantime but when i tell people they are always like "OMG NO FAIR I HATE YOU" so really, consider yourself lucky. it will come, i promise. <3

it sounds to me that the only reason you want it, is because all of your friends have it and also you are flat chested... well you can solve 1 of those problems. If you're flat chested, go shoppping with your mom and buy a padded bra, it makes your chest look bigger. Why do you care what people think?? So if someone said "oh look at that girl, she has no cleavage!!" you would start crying and running into the bathroom to fill your bra up with toilet paper??? is that what you would do??? ha! I WOULDN'T. The only kinds of people who do those things, well they are unhappy with themselves. You know what happens to unhappy people?? their life goes down the drain...
be happy with what you have now. Let nature take the course and don't even listen to what your friends have to say about you not getting your period. If they do say something, be glad that you don't have it. Just be like "I'm very happy that I don't have my period, I heard it sucks and I don't want it yet"
I got my period when I was 13, and my friends got it when they were 12. We started talking and when they heard that I haven't gotten my period before, they didn't start laughing! They actually called me lucky and actually liked me as a friend more.
Who cares how big your boobs are?? You think people will like you more just because your boobs are bigger? nope!
Be happy with what you have and don't care about what people think. trust me, you don't want your period.

It really varies. Some get it when their 11 while some get it when they're closer to 18 or above.
If you do a lot of sports, are underweight, are under constant stress, not eating properly, malnutritioned, etc, those things could delay your period also.
Just let nature take it course.
